Sometimes I dont get the main role system here... Lee Jung Eun is barely in the show. The supporting character doctor has more airtime, as do most of the other nurses and Mr Yoon
No offense but he was never a good actor π«£ I first saw him in Extraordinary You and his acting kinda fit the…
I think both are cast because of their looks, tbh. Neither is good at acting, but it's a process, it depends of a lot of factors I believe they can get better.
I mean there are good idol actors too. I can't spell or remember the names of any of these people so I am sorry in advance but the guy from Bring it on, Ghost and Vincenzo is pretty good and his bandmate from King the Land is pretty decent too (although not as good).
On the other hand, V from BTS was a shitty actor in the only drama he ever starred. And I am ARMY I guess I am supposed to be defending him or something. But if he keeps acting who knows? The guy from SHInee who also starred in the drama was much better, for example.
i will give time to Rowoon to fit into this character but so far his acting is not really hitting and I'm getting…
No offense but he was never a good actor π«£ I first saw him in Extraordinary You and his acting kinda fit the character but I tried the King's affection and Destined with you and he has no expressions whatsoever... I only tolerated him in Tomorrow bc the story was amazing and the rest of the cast carried the show. And he WAS a bit better there.
Don't get me wrong, there are good idol actors he just isnt one, at least yet. It's him and the guy from Astro, I forget his name, he is starring in A good day to be a dog. Also not a good actor, yikes... they may grow as actors but so far... no π
No romance tag. Maybe there is no romance? I hope there isnt because it would spoil the story completely, this…
They usually stick the romance tag everywhere so I was hoping. This one, I really would prefer no romance. Because there are 2 guys and then it's a mess and there's this really interesting story about her journey coming up and the romance and love triangle will ruin everything, so PD nims, can we have no romance on this one please :(
Why is everyone already pairing them up? Does one of them have to be Ki Ho and if so, MUST there be romance and love triangles? I really hope it isnt that kind of drama, this is GREAT without any romance whatsoever... then again, it's drama land where platonic relationships between men and women arent a thing apparently... sigh
Bogeol has to be Kiho. Itβs either heβs hiding his identity because of his abusive father or he feels guilty…
No romance tag. Maybe there is no romance? I hope there isnt because it would spoil the story completely, this is about her chasing her dream and people overcoming hardships.
unpopular opinion apparently but i haven't been disappointed by this show yet, i like their unusual family
It's obviously a crack (no pun intended) show, it's meant to bd ridiculous and over the top. If people dont get that they wont be in the right mindset to enjoy the chaos π€£π€£
Muskets and cannons were already widely available in late 16th century in Ming dynasty. So its use in Qing invasion…
"Widely" is kind of not so. As I said above they didn't exactly manufacture them. They traded.
And yes, I could. But it was what caught my attention... I still enjoyed the series, I know the choice was for impact and not historical accuracy, but oh well. Like I said, it stood out to me. Sorry if it is nitpicking, it was a comment that maybe I should have kept for myself, I suppose. It's done, though.
Really struggling with this show. I thought It was going to be a sweet romance but instead I get a tragedy. Yes…
I feel you. I liked when the FL was being a badass after war, but then they turned on the melodrama. I gave it a high score for the non melodramatic romance parts but especially bc both leads were strong characters
They did, that's not the problem. The first time the enemy used the rifles on the Joseon militia they used like at least a dozen rifles. Rifles were invented in Europe and arrived in China, Japan and the near countries via trade with European (mostly Portuguese) trading ships, so to think they would just use them in what amounts to a skirmish makes no sense, historically. They didnt have many.
Plus I think I saw them fire twice in succession which is 100% factually incorrect as you used only one ball per round and then had to reload by adding another ball and gunpowder. Weapons with more than one bullet started only being produced in the 19th century by the Americans, I believe. Don't quote me on that though, I am uncertain of this, but I do know 17th century rifles didnt fire more than one shot per round.
