It appears that there are only 2(?) episodes left and the show's writer(s) have a lot to cover in order to wrap everything up in 2 hours.
One thing that I wonder about is what was the purpose of introducing the Target Penny CEO and his search for his biological mother and Hye Jin as a possible love interest. Nothing developed with his character at all- seems like a wasted story line.
Love, love, love, this show. It is like watching one super long high quality movie. Great acting, story. cinematography, etc. What a dilemma for the 2 families. Hoping for a happy outcome for everyone affected.
My general impression after the first 2 episodes is that this show has some good potential. The preview for episode 3 looks to introduce a couple new characters- one of which may be a competing love interest. Not sure... I never watched the original version. I am definitely looking forward to next week's episodes.
Is there even any other American/western drama that has this absolutely insane "real"-touch like this drama has?…
For American entertainment, I've always believed "The Sopranos" was in a class by itself.
It is getting difficult waiting for Thursday( I'm going to watch 13 & 14 back to back). I keep trying to imagine how the story is going to progress, but this writer continues to surprise me- in great ways.
This was posted on dramafever- "Due to last minute casting changes with Na Moon Hee and Oh Dal Soo prior to the melodrama's premiere, TVN's cast and crew had to work extremely long hours to keep up with the episode release schedule. The task proved to be to much for everyone, so they decided to postpone this week's episodes. The talented drama team will get the rest they deserve, while we get excited to see high quality programming on May 9 and May 10".
So, I've watched through ep. 9 and am really enjoying this drama. My only disappointment with it is they seem to have decided to feature some older western music very prominently throughout this. I honestly enjoy discovering new music through these shows. Is "Stand By Your Man" popular in Korea? It seems to be an odd musical choice in a show that is promoting women's rights.
"Ep.13 and 14 will now air on May 9th and 11th to allow more time for staff and performers to film their scenes."As…
On the one hand I am disappointed to have to wait an extra week, but this show is worth the wait if it is needed to get everything perfect for the last 4 episodes.
Episode 12- The scene where the group from Jung Hee's bar was walking Ji An home was terrific. Such a simple gesture from them and yet it seemed to impact her so profoundly. Loved her quiet "thank you".
Kim Myung Min putting in a world class acting performance as we speak. Honestly one of the best single acting…
I will second that. You actually can see it as he switches characters internally. Truly amazing to watch. I would also like to add that the women playing his two wives are awesome as well!
I agree! This drama is getting stronger as it goes. Love the dynamics of both families and it appears that they both are close to truly understanding what has happened to him.
