I've mentioned that in my previous comment too where I said it'd be interesting to see their bts since this'll be the first time her ml is younger than her. As its usually her mls that poke/pinch/squeeze her cheeks/face both on-screen and bts. But this time its her to her ml. That's probably why she was enjoying it. lol

The director is one of the reasons why I trust this production team better. They got the og author as script consultant, the director is obviously passionate, and so far XHCL's sns team has been doing well (s/o to their douyin editor 🤭).

I didn't mean it literally, it was just an expression. Regardless if on script or not, its good that the leads get along bts that they can be playful/caring with each other, which I find adorbs.

During the scene where LS is pinching WL's cheek, he asked something like "Are you happy?" I assume its cause she was probably enjoying it. lol

I've only ever ship characters, that's why sometimes I didn't know some of the actors are already married. 😅
As long as I feel chemistry, I ship. Which is actually rare for me. I've seen many romance dramas but couldn't rate higher as I was only rooting for the cp because of the plot, not because I felt chemistry.

But I do get your point about WuLu. That one scene they had in TLB made me check out XHCL.
LingCheng is one of the rare ones for me and the actors performance are definitely big part of that. And even bigger bonus if they get along bts too.

Same as the first batch of posters released earlier. And yes, we'll get to see her portray all kinds of emotions properly (not rushed).

The trailer today is a lighthearted one. Seems like this drama has everything.
But that "ahh~ ehh~ ohh~" scene though, esp. the "ohhh~" part... Is WL possibly/finally dethrone ZYC? 🤭 Idk much about WL, heard he hasn't done much 😙 but looking forward to be pleasantly surprised.

And the pick up/carry scene reminds me of HaoYan cause it was harsh-ish (at first) too. lol
But really, first my HaoYan cp, now possibly ZYC too..?

The reverse cliché was entertaining. The ml being good with books, medicine and gardening, while the fl being great at hunting, fighting and swimming was refreshing.

Quite old. I remember watching this at around 8 and I'm in my 20s now.

I've heard of netflix adding older asian dramas. Though their subs are hit or miss, but hopefully new drama fans enjoy watching despite the quality. This was good for its time. Its ost is quite memorable.

Because it was a mistake. lol But yes, I have high hopes for this because I trust this production team. The director himself ships his own cp and has nothing but praises for his leads both individually and as a cp. The exact reason why HaoYan is my top ZLS cp.

XiXi was cute but Xi-er was more of a love interest there so my HaoYan cp was safe and secured during WRTW.
