Just saw the final ranking and there bound to be a heartbreak...just the nature of the show. I do believe that companies have a hand in who gets there in the end but that doesn't mean those who made it are not/less deserving. The show did give exposure to many of these girls and hopefully they get to utilize that to their advantage. One thing to say though, the last 7 are now a group and honestly I'm not sure how their team work is going to be, they are not together by choice. While each one of them was able to successfully work in groups throughout the show, it was always temporary. Now they have to be a team for a long time and need to tolerate and work together. I don't think any of them is with their buddy/friend so they have a lot of team building to do. Also what's with the idea of center they all should get a chance to be there center at one point smh <.<
This showed up on my Netflix rec and I like the 1st ep , the contrast between allopathic medicine and alternative/traditional medicine is interesting and the idea of a backstory gives a reasoning to the attitude displayed by the lead. Also the parallels in their lives being antagonized/unappreciated.
I got into this after hearing Curley's song. Honestly I don't like these survival/competition shows they can be brutal and unfair. But the girls are sweet and I got invested. They all have a potential and I hope they go far in life. "Dong Bala" and "Outlier" were my favorite performances, especially outlier the vocals and expressions, really gave me chills. Side note, I think Wang YiJin would be great in a historical or wuxia drama, I would definitely follow her acting career should she decides to pursue that.
The ending is exactly what I'd hoped for...glad that was her choice! I would've loved to have seen more though. Also, while SamSin said she's been around for 5000 years, at one point I thought she was Wolju's mother for some reason, at least I thought they hinted at it?
I liked the pace in general and acting of all characters. I have to say, I felt the last three episodes were not as strong in terms of story as the rest. Also whoever did the make-up for Hwang Jung Eum in the second half of the series should be fired! Seriously the make-up was on point in the beginning but later was so bad and uneven. Overall, this was an enjoyable drama has a little comedy, drama, mystery with a spoonful of fantasy (and I love the family aspect of it).
This Drama is losing it's track for me....the flow is going off...starting at ep 17Some flow of the scenes are…
I agree with some of what you're saying. Now I'm not all caught up so I haven't seen the change in pace yet. I don't find the characters THAT annoying and they all have their merritts and roles. I think YN is smart and uses her ridiculous sensational articles to draw attention to certain issues. LY himself can be irritating with his self serving attitude. However, overall to me this is a comedy that's quirky and fun. I'm not taking it too seriously hence enjoying myself.
As a sucker for detective stories and murder mystery this is right up my alley. I just started and I like the dynamic and the humor. My only complaint so far is the dub (I can tell some are dubbed ex. FL while ML's are using their real voice), the transition in sound is not smooth and it's bugging me.
