Haha, "douche hat" is such an apt description for him! I don't think I've ever disliked a second male lead this much before. I'm at the point where I kinda wanna claw his and his empress' eyes out. (Such violence he inspires!)

Whenever I think of this drama, it crosses my mind that I would have enjoyed it more if they just stuck with the love story in the past with the Crown Prince and Boo Yong.

Nope, I'd say don't do it. If you dislike KHJ, you're going to absolutely loathe him and most likely end up disliking Jung So Min as well by the time you're through.

For me, the first half of the movie had all the good stuff - cute fluff and the main girl had a spark in her. Then it kind of dipped into the usual pattern of a J-movie (and the main girl becoming a puddle basically). It was nice but I'm not as thrilled as I hoped. 7/10 for the initial enjoyment though!

I loved it! Captivated me from beginning to end. I also like when Tsuge-san removed those glasses. Rawr. Haha, I'm giving this a ten because I really thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for this type of movie.

Do they ever make mention of the characters from Sound of the Desert?

I don't remember seeing him in Hi! My Sweetheart (though now I'm curious and gonna check!) but he sort of snuck up on me and got my attention in Go Princess Go.

She's scarily good at crying on cue. And also managing to be cute at the same time.

He's so cute. You just wanna squish him when he's onscreen. Also, he rocks white robes and long hair really well!

His eyes are so soulful and mesmerizing.

She really impressed me with her acting in Go Princess Go! And she's hella stunning too. Can't wait to see more from her!

If you're thinking about watching this drama, prepare yourself to either give in or resist the temptation to marathon it! I was seriously addicted for these last two days and couldn't stop watching. It was a fun ride - lots of giggles, some eye-rolling and the teensiest bit of angst thrown in. 8.5/10 for me!

Ji Soo is absolutely adorable in this drama! So refreshing to not see him angsting all over the place.
Also, Jin Mok, I want to root for you, dude, but it's just so hard to not love Cha Sik!

Banging my head against a wall because of Qiyu. The man just irritates me. I prefer his brother so much more. (It doesn't help that it's the seriously handsome and charming Wallace Huo that he's up against)

No matter how many times I see this drama, I always enjoy watching it again! Still giving me all the feels years later.

I just don't get the attraction to Prince Cheng.
(Also I glanced at episode 43, I think it was, and I swear sometimes the guy looks like if he could swallow Yunxian whole, he totally would lol)

I've only seen Kyungsoo's scenes in this drama and I'm very impressed.
