Title Doom at Your Service Spoiler
She is not dead, because the person who loved the most died in her place. That was said in the contract. She didn't…
yeah yeah. I just checked episode 2. Someone else suppose to die, not someone additionally will die if she breaks the contract.

I am not really happy. I want them dead lol

Damn why yall want this to be a BL so badly, go watch a bl then. I personally am really liking this. The romance…
I don't know... maybe coz when characters are presented as gay in an original work, people would like to see the same representation on screen? LGBT community barely has any representation in Korean media anyway, so to take a gay character and potentially give him a straight love line is simply wrong. If they are not willing to show a gay relationship, the least they could have done is not give said character any love line at all.

Also, I already replied to you in the previous comment, but for a drama that has romance as just a side plot, episode 3rd weirdly focused mostly on romance. A lot of people complain because this was suppose to be a friendship driven show and focus on self-growth, while the director and writer waste so much time on said romance. Also, usually if the romance is just a side plot, it's not added as a genre. So that's that.

Its supposed to be Joon wan (yeo joon's brother) i hope they dont change that.
The whole 3rd episode was focused on making the romance happen between So Bin and Yeo Joon. Definitelly not a good call, since as you said, romance is suppose to be just a sub plot.

And also, maybe new concept for you: someone can overall enjoy the show and still criticize aspects they don't like or the direction it takes.

or that's someone who has some psychological issues, that have nothing to do with age. For me, she is not naive…
Yeah... I have little hope of them addressing it on a deeper level, sadly. That said, I still find it refreshing that the ML is toxic but in a "subtle" way and not the over the top mean lead way we usually get, coz it's more realistic. And her being aware something is wrong but still going for it, which again, is more interesting than her being just a naive girl who is surprised a hot dude pays any attention to her.

I mean, if they make him straight, this gonna lower my rating. I'm not expecting from them to actually deliver gay relationship, but the least they could do would be not giving him any romance, instead of making him straight.
With how much the characters are dealing with and how much development needs to happen, they are wasting way too much time on romance.

Can anyone tell me how old the FL is? Her naivety astounds me. Letting a stranger, (even though hot) touch you,…
or that's someone who has some psychological issues, that have nothing to do with age. For me, she is not naive (as she sees all the red flag), but rather needs some counselling/therapy done.

AND that is because he is a human with a trauma :) which is realistic he is flawed and need therapy and love imo…
my problem with this is, they will most likely make it seem like power of love and friendship will heal him and no therapy will actually happen. This often happens: they show realistic portray of someone struggling with some psychological issues, but then completely ruin it with unrealistic way to deal with it.

I did this method before with DOTS, I originally stopped at around ep 4. Few years later, tried to rewatch it…
gut feeling for me for sure too. I kind of sense if the drama will be my taste and I will enjoy it or not. Sure, sometimes the gut feeling is wrong, but from what I see, around 80% times it is correct hahahaha

i honestly wished that nabi took just a little bit more time to become THAT interested in jae eon. as a viewer,…
Na Bi is obviously not a matur person (especially emotionally), so I don't think it's that weird she is so into him so fast. From that short introduction to her character, they are kind of hinting she is easily drawn into someone who is interested in her. We already know she is a vulnerable person and her quick emotional attachment can be used against her with her ex story - he was emotionally manipulative and abusive throughout the relationship and yet it took her so long to leave. She seems to be hungry for "love and affection" hence she is grabbing a chance when it comes.
Like, this goes beyond her being naive. Coz she is aware of the red flags and yet pushes forward. For me, this just shows that she is not just a poor young girl who falls a victim to a playboy, but rather her attitude towards love is also unhealthy.

Well, I was like that too, at first. Never wanted to drop everything, had to finish everything I start. Thank god I've learned how to drop shows tho, coz watching everything till the end even if I didn;t like it was exhausting hahahaha But yeah, I know the feeling :)

Not all second chances go smoothly though < true. And honestly, never felt bad about not liking NiF. Actually, me not liking it lead to few funny interactions with friends and inside jokes so I kind of embrace it now :)

Oh, I had the similar habit at the beginning of watching dramas. I did not drop anything, I just couldn't hahaha I called that phase "ENTHUSIASTIC BABY" in my previous article hahahaha not only it was easier to please me, I also felt guilty about dropping stuff. Not exactly the same reasons as you, but the end result was the same hahaha

I had google doc before I started using mdl, but now I put all my info here. If there is any specific annotation…
yeah but only you can check the notes you write on mdl for a drama :)
that's why I feel ok about using it hahaha

Honestly I just feel like I’m hard to impress...well sometimes. I remember I dropped Tale Of The Nail Tailed…
What I've noticed: the more dramas we saw, the harder it is to impress us and truly enjoy a show. Coz we have higher expectations based on our experience with different shows.

Glad Vincenzo worked for you at the end tho! It's on my ptw list. Wanted to watch it after it drops on polish netflix, but when it did after the drama fully aired, I've got busy with other shows :(

I had google doc before I started using mdl, but now I put all my info here. If there is any specific annotation I want to do to a drama, I usually just use note option.

I do use google doc for writing reviews tho. Usually I start writing some thought as I watch the show and then form based on it and put it on mdl :)

Oh, it makes sense. Sometimes I feel like I've watched too many shows in the same genre in a row and need some break from it too
