oh, I know the feeling. If I stop watching a show for quite some time it;s hard for me to get back to it... the ghosted thingy happen to me few times too.
oh and random number generator for ptw is great. I use that too. it saves so much time. Normally it would take me ages to decide on the drama.

I see so many people have exactly the same problem. Getting bored/tired of the drama around episode 12 and 13. This is quite frequent on mdl...

oh, I love watching currently airing shows, since I love talking about them with friends on feeds on mdl. Discussing dramas is one of my fav parts of the watching experience :)

And the production value is way better. This is one of the reasons I love asian cinema so much, coz they pay a loooot of attention to production value.

you could try with a few at first. The ones you don;t even remember why you dropped (since usually these have the highest chance of turning out decent lol)

oh, I don't use on hold list for on hold dramas. For me, I either watch or drop dramas, no in between. And since I basically start good 80% of currently airing kdramas, it's given some will end up being dropped...

yeah... sounds like me hahaha "oh it has an actor I like playing supporting character". There are many reasons to start a drama hahaha

Oh someone else in the comment had the same problem with losing interest in kdramas about episode 12. I thought it might have to do with the fact around that time the main plot is kind of finished and we get some random last minute plot twist to get to that episode 16. it does not fit the main plot that well and at times feels totally out of place. I had that 12 episode feeling too quite a few times.

maybe just give them one more episode to convince you if they are drop and not material. If you still won;t enjoy them, drop them again hahaha

skipping scenes and then being surprised I don;t truly understand the plot. Been there done that hahah

oh, i did drop Ashes of Love, I picked it up this year but damn I got bored at some point hahaha

We all have different ways of watching tho. You are strict with picking dramas but don't drop. I pick up anything and drop if it turns out to be not for me :)

and when you watch that last episode and credits roll in you ask yourself: what have I just watched? lol I know that feeling. there are some dramas you watch, but you don't really know why.

wait till you get to stage 3, and start dropping dramas 8 minutes in first episode hahaha it;s fun lol

this is one of the problems with starting with really high quality dramas. When you watch all the best ones, the standards are high and it;s hard to find something worth watching...

I take ridiculous plot that makes no sense over predictable one any time. With the ridiculous ones I can at least laugh about it and have good old hate watch. Predictable ones tho are just boring and there are no redeeming qualities to them.

I started using the "note" option lately. It helps later on. If I dropped the drama coz I was not in the mood, I write that in the note so when I check my dropped list, I know which ones might be worth giving the 2nd chance :)

spill the tea. This is so true. For me, if I find the drama boring or not my type, I am not curious how it ends AT ALL. Maybe that's why I have no problems dropping them...
