If we were annoyed by the repetitivness i cant imagine to actually "live" through such life.
OMG THAT ENDING I WOULD DIE FOR! I was wishing for a tragic ending so much! I am quite happy with what happened, but I had to dig deep to see the tragic part of it hahaha

AWESOME ARTICLE, KATE!!! (and i really love the formatting!)I also feel like it's a sad ending. moreover - there…
If we were annoyed by the repetitivness i cant imagine to actually "live" through such life. <- exactly! That would be truly hellish experience!
As for your idea of the ending: it sounds awesome BUT it would frustrate me so much if it happened. Because during the whole drama we had no connection to the real world. So at the end bringing in fans and how they were able to change the characters fate would sound like a cheap way out of a bad ending for me.
But yeah, let's live with the hope that the writer would write Kyung, Dohwa etc. into the story at some point and they would not be just simply forgotten :)
And thank you for liking the article. I wanted it to be short and straight to be point since the whole article is just about the ending of a one drama hahaha

i definitely see it as more of a sad ending. just the fact that dohwa isn’t in the new comic makes me sad. and…
Since they are nameless extras I would assume they would not have much of an ending. One day one of them would get written off the story, as soon after the other would follow... Sadly.

Title Leverage
I'm pretty sure they divorced, but I may be wrong. I think there was a short scene about it.
I believe she cared about him but they were not couple at that time. I'd assume they split up on good terms when the kid got worse. There was no indication of them being in the relationship since episode 1.

Oh my goodness, yes! I finally found a review that captured my feelings in words. The drama had everything set…
glad you share my feelings of disappointment hahaha

this is a perfect new stat. Usually when there is a huge difference between the rating of people who finished and those who dropped, I am more willing to believe low rating reflect more of the drama not fitting those people style, rather than it being bad. It will definitely help a lot.

I just feel so sad for Ha Young she still loves him so much, well what she has done was wrong but the circumstances…
She gave up on finding him and involving the police to get promotion in her job. I would not call that love...

Title Melting Me Softly Spoiler
1. Mi Ran's ex-boyfriend will never not be annoying. It was not enough that he was at her school, at her house,…
Agree with all of those but I cannot agree with the last one. Even if she has some negative feelings for Mi Ran, she knows it's not right and never expresses them towards Mi Ran herself. Expecting her to be perfectly rational in a situation she is in and not get swayed by emotions is asking for too much. I'm pretty sure the person who posted that was Dong Chan's ex. Only her doing that makes any sense.

good entertainment can have some value to itself. Don't know if I have too high of a standard expecting from dramas more than hot guys making out, or others have too low.

The problem I had with your comment was that "hypocritical" part you pointed out. Either you call me hypocritical, which makes no sense since you don't know if I do or do not criticize similar tropes in other not BL shows, or you just call other people with this mentality hypocritical, not specifically me, but then why would you write that message to me, under my comment, when it had nothing to do with the content of my comment? I just found you bringing into the conversation other types of shows out of place. I'm not here to discuss Disney or other not bl rom-coms coz this is not place to do that.
I think I have bigger problem with this specific drama than the others, coz of that plot line of sexual abuse when Type was younger and how they "play" with it. It might be because I am psychology major, but how they are dealing with it just bothers me so much it's crazy.

I'm talking about this show and criticizing this show and it's genre coz it's the page FOR THIS SHOW. Why would I bring different genres or Disney here. Also, just because this problem is prominent in other movies and tv shows, does not mean we should not criticize it here.
Never have ever in any Disney show I have seen the guy kept touching the girl AFTER she said no and tried to push him away.
Also when I talk about BL, I don't only mean the tv shows, since they are quite mild compared to the novels. In novels we have cases of nothing more or less rape and it is so normalized it's crazy.

Well, they don't know what is "consent" in these BL series (and well, not only in BL series, it's truly a problem…
It is true that BL dramas have a HUGE problem with the concept of consent. Majority of them have a message "if you push long enough they will be willing and enjoying themselves". And this one, knowing that Type has huge psychological problems because of his past experience, is even worse than all the other ones. How can anyone see Tharn as cute and not creepy is beyond me. Rather than romance I watch it was a psychological thriller hahaha

Title Extraordinary You Spoiler
Why do you think as an extra he has that scar on his hand? since he's not apart of scenes, his injuries don't…
Uh I don't think we have enough information to make valid theories about the scar but if I had to write anything: maybe it's the result of Haru trying to change the story in the past. I also think there is some bad blood between him and Dried Squid Fairy.
Just read the comment from freedonuts up there and I like the idea that Haru might have been the main lead but he tried to change the story. The whole punishment idea.

Your theories are so good. I can't wait to see all of the main characters gaining conscious and see how this story…
I mean it's quite confirmed that Haru was drawing Dan Oh even before she knew who he was. In ep 1 she is reading the book upside down. In ep 4 on one of the drawing Haru created we can see Dan Oh reading that book upside down.

THEORIES TIME! :D
What I think, if Haru is not a writer (since there are still some theories, he might be), the reason he can change the story is exactly because he is just an extra. No matter if it's a stage or shadow scene, he is always himself, since his "stage" persona does not really exist, he has no lines and no purpose in the story. So when the "stage" parts happens, he is capable to do whatever he wants and is not controlled by the narrative.
Also, I feel like he might have been aware of himself even before Dan Oh. He did have Secret with him, he did draw her before she start talking to him. If anything, I'd say he tired to talk to her before she was aware, but she always forgot the interaction.
Since Haru and Dan Oh already broke the story line between her and Kyung, now he is slowly starting to gain awareness and both of them are in control of their action in the scenes between them (we saw that Dan Oh can now say whatever she wants to him even on "stage" scene).
Dried Squid Fairy might be the writer (not so sure tbh) or he might have change his life in the past but something really bad happened as a consequence, that's why he gets so angry at Dan Oh.
Anyway, I love it. I'm all for Dan Oh and Do Hwan friendship. Love their scenes.

Just want to ask a question before starting to watch this drama with who the lead girl will end up with?
Ma Hoon, at least that's what the characters' chart says.

Right, the names are awesome. They basically explain the leads name in the end of ep 1 haha (or 2, depending on the format one is watching the show with). The Yang is probably from 양아치 right? hahaha anyway, for us the names are funny, but they show the lack of creativity of the writer of the webtoon hahah which makes it even more funny.

I must be in the minority then but I would love to see a deeper relation with Sun Woo and Hyun Ji.Sun woo must…
same. I am questioning whenever Jenny's and sun Woo's feeling for each other can be even called romantic love. She is seeing him more as a link to her past self and sacred haven. Like the only person who "truly knows her" and keeps her sane. And for him he is just fixated on the past and have a huge sense of responsibility. The connection between them is strong but I would never put them together in a romantic relationship.
I love Sun Woo and Hyun Ji tho. The relationship they have is more natural and well balanced.

Do you have more recommendations for someone who's feeling like that?
tbh I don't quite remember how this drama made me feel, so it would be hard to recommend something similar... it's been 2 years after all...

by looking at the trailer i'm wondering if there is romance, because i see most of the people here are old ones
one of the genres is romance + first 2 episodes (or 4, depends on what format you are watching it with) quite clearly shown who is into who. If I had to guess, Sun Woo will slowly get into Hyun Ji and give up on Jenny.
