I agree that that it is awful to see children abandon their parents but drama aside in real life I don't think…
Of course, it's understandable to use care centers for special cases like that. In your dear gran ♥ situation, it is definitely the right thing to do.

To clarify my point, I condemn children who leave their parents to the care of others when they are perfectly capable of doing that on their own. And if they really had no other choice, they should visit them as often as possible to make them feel valued.

As many, I felt cheated when I realized young time-traveling HeyJa doesn't exist.

After watching episode 11, I was impressed with the writer's scam. If it wasn't for the clever fake young love story at the beginning of the drama, I might have avoided watching a plot that revolved around an Alzheimer patient. Instead of following a traditional tear-jerker, we were pulled into a romance, comedy, and a melodrama as a trick to force us into something more fascinating.

It's always heartbreaking when I see children abandon their parents completely. Such people are heartless and should be ashamed of their actions. In my opinion, care centers should only be considered for elderly people that no longer have any relative to support them.

Note to Self: read the tags before watching a drama.

This started as disturbing, moved to interesting, after that boring, and ended with depression.

Good to know. Thanks for the warning! As long as it's not the ML, that's fine with me.

Lets hope Netflix improves with their choices :D

I'll add your favorites to my watch list! Thank you :)♥

I saw the Girl from Nowhere on Netflix and thought it's a school mystery but it's not. Each episode talks about a different story and they are all dark and the first 2 episodes I watched so far are about rape.... I'll just finish the damn thing but won't recommend it.

I think Netflix need to pick better Asian dramas to represent. Many disappointing ones so far.

Ok! Now I'm tempted to watch something beside the creepy "Girl from Nowhere". What is your absolute favorite among Thai-drama?

YOU ROCK!! ♥♥♥ So many statements I absolutely agree with. That "multiple rape attempts, emotional and physical abuse isn't my definition of being cute and romantic," is so true. I can't understand how people enjoy a story that contains a passive female lead that falls in love with a bad guy and accept bad treatment from him (lots of Japanese and Korean dramas/movies are like that), or the weak female lead that cries all the time *ehem* Memories of the Alhambra *ehem*.

I have to admit that Mr. Sunshine was very slow and I can understand why many people dropped it. I watched it on Netflix and took breaks here and there but I was glad I finished it. The main character's performance and story was fascinating. The love story between the leads was sweet and the MANY one-sided ones were also touching. The supporting roles and the war stories were very well-written. At the end, I was impressed and in awe.

Memories of the Alhambra: This was a complete failure in my opinion. The story was all over the place and dragged on to a very sad point. The only reason I completed this drama was because I had it also on Netflix. I love Park Shin Hye and I am a fan of her acting but I think she chose a very disappointing role. Watching her cry a LOT was annoying and depressing.

Meteor Garden: I LOVED this drama. I am a huge fan of the Japanese version but it was like a new experience while watching this adaptation. I completely recommend it because it is a very satisfying watch.

Anyways, thank you for writing this article :)♥

I enjoyed watching this but the series ended all of a sudden! Wasn't expecting that so I was rather disappointed. Anyways, it was still an enjoyable watch. I am watching the anime because it goes further than the series.

Haha I think it's hard to tell you what to expect without spoiling too much. It does get better and the plot gets…
Now I'm curious, which is what I needed to continue so thank you! xD

I watched the first 2 episodes and I got too bored to continue. I'll pick it up again for sure because maybe the beginning is the problem. I like the idea of living a video game for real but the story development is not gripping as I thought it would. I get that it is suppose to be a mystery but the events are all over the place. Plus, to be honest, I'd rather see Cheonyeol fight with a sword than Hyunbin....

Best Korean comedy ever! This was hilarious! I watched it with my nieces (7 & 11) and we cracked up the whole time. The final episode was the only weakness but it's a happy one :)

I didn't watch the first season because it's not on netflix.

My favorite is Boys and Girls in the City. The current one is also good.

What I like about this show is that the MCs are hilarious xD
