Title Twilight Spoiler
I love this drama -- it is so healing and has depth storywise, the kind of dramas I love the most, which has substance.…
And can we talk about the foreshadowing in ML's script characters? It is actually clues to us, the audiences on who is the villains and who is the real nice people in their lives. I guess it just a matter of times that 'his brother' is the plot twist in his crime script where he will be revealed as the murderer -- just like how he comes to be in real life as well.

And the big guy 'Kuan' from the basketball finally appear! And we know instantly he is a good guy since he is the good guy in the ML's script -- playing alongside with him as his teammates. He was like a ray of light when he finally appear in yesterday's episode. I was so happy for the ML lol. Now he got another person on his side aside from Lui Xia.

I never seen this kind of creative writing from any dramas before. I thought it is very refreshing -- how the foreshadowing for future events are told from his stories. :D

Title Twilight
I love this drama -- it is so healing and has depth storywise, the kind of dramas I love the most, which has substance. I like the fact that in the first glance, we thought the leads are just normal people since they hide it so well with all the smiles and their out going personalities -- then the story start shedding their tragic past one by one and you can see how this 2 characters are broken people and are connected since they are 'Souls with the same color' like the OST lyrics indicated. In fact, the whole theme song is a reflection of their relationship.

I love how their 'tragic past' didnt make them feel bitter about the world or make them treat other people badly -- but they are really good people, with very beautiful souls. I love all the conversations they had with each other, or how when he cooked, he gets all the flavors just right according to her taste, have the same view on what's important, view the world with the same kindness -- it was a realistic portrayal of how 2 people falls in love -- the similarity, the calmness and the tranquility they found with each other.

And the details in the characters are amazing. We come to know why the ML is such a 'People Pleaser' since he was abandoned so all he did is to please people esp 'his brother' who one of the few people who treat him nice (thats why the betrayal later will be heartbreaking ;_;). Or how the FL is never truly happy (her BFF always like 'Why I'm always more happier than you when something great happen to you?') and was just ready to expect all these bad things that keeps happening to her -- like she was expecting all of it -- like she used to never catch a break in her life. Yesterday's episode hit me like no other. It truly bare the characters naked emotionally.

What the FL did in Cruel Romance?
OMG, it is indeed the worst. I wanted to ask whether she apologize or not than I get it straight from your comment. 😂 Please tell me she is the one who try to win the ML back instead of the other way around..... Who am I kidding lol.

Gotta admit : this dramas has one of the worst female leads I’ve ever seen (I don’t think I’ve seen one…

Yes, its not the same. He is dubbed in One & Only while in Forever & Ever, it is Ren Jialun's real voice. Its…
You dont have to worry about separating the characters since Zhousheng Chen in One & Only is totally different from the one in Forever and Ever. Not only in term of voice, mannerism, personality, way of speaking or how they smile as well. But the essence of himself is still the same which you can see in every actions or thoughts.

The one who voiced him in One & Only is Bian Jiang. He is a very famous voice actor and one of the 4 voice actors who always been used in the industry. He is also the one who voiced Lan Wangji (Wang Yibo) in The Untamed.

i feel like im going insane but Zhou Sheng Chens voice is not the same here as it was in One and Only. Right??…
Yes, its not the same. He is dubbed in One & Only while in Forever & Ever, it is Ren Jialun's real voice. Its the same with Bai Lu as well. She is dubbed in One & Only but use her real voice in Forever & Ever.

I actually really like his voice in Forever & Ever. I remember watching the first episode last time and keep rewinding his scenes since I like how his voice sound until I figure out on my own seconds later that it is his real voice lol

Title Love a Lifetime Spoiler
Happy or sad ending?
Happy ending despite they are technically a Romeo & Juliet story. Such a refreshing take on this tragic relationship. I enjoy it a lot!

At first I didn’t like the drama because not much chemistry between the lead couple but this story grow on me.…
He did not have a split personality. 😂 He just lose his innocence and become darker and serious after the tragedy that happened at Lingzhu Pavilion. But when he's with his wife, the smile is back again.

He also started using his real name 'Nalan Yue/Ah Yue' when he's back home in the earlier episodes as well. His wife has been calling him 'Ah Yue' since earlier as well (before the tragedy).

Sure. But despite being able to figure that out, I still want the payoff of seeing how everything unspools from…
Of course, I also want to watch the continuation. My comment is generally to those people who didnt want to watch the drama due to the cliffhanger ending or rage with the ending. They are missing such a rare gem! :D

It is such a shame if anyone passed on Joy of Life because of the cliff hanger ending. That drama is like one of the best dramas ever written with how brilliant is the script and acting. Plus, there is not even one stupid decision makings made by both the good and bad guys in the drama which made the story all very compelling and entertaining.

I dont really understand with the rage of the cliff hanger ending. Because, its obvious there will be S2 and S3 according to the novel so the main lead obviously cant die. And, Yan Bingyun is written as Fan Xian's allies in the novel so again obviously, this is a plan by Fan Xian to have Yang Bingyun to stab him in order to fool the 2nd Prince. By making this 2 simple deductions, it was a rather interesting ending instead of a frustrated one.

Person Ren Jia Lun
I personally think he's an excellent actor. I like how he always take various of roles for his dramas and even when he's known for his cold characters, there are difference in all of his portrayals of the same cold characters.

And I also love the fact that despite not being trained as an actor professionally, he put these micro details in his characters which impressed me. For an example, I actually love how he differentiate his smiles for his roles tbh. Like the shy & blissful smiles in Forever & Ever, innocent childlike smiles in The Blue Whisper or overly happy smiles in Love a Lifetime. Same with his crying scenes as well -- there is variations of it in all of his roles. So you see him as the character he is playing instead of overlapping him with his other characters from before.

Plus, I like how his lips will tremble during sad or angry scenes. Those are hard to do unless he is feeling those emotions from that scene when he is acting them. And he picked mostly good scripts which makes all his dramas are watchable for me -- this is for me the most important things for an actor that he actually picked good projects to be part of.

Now everytime he comes out with new dramas, I have faith it will be good esp scriptwise. And I like this when an actor can give me assurance on this part. :D

Thank you! As long as the writer actually do his/ her research and the technical aspect of the legal were correct, then I'm ok. I'm dont like US shows in general but their legal dramas are the best tbh. The Practice, Boston Legal, Lincoln Lawyer are amazing legal dramas which do not use dramatic stuffs to move on their plot but rather actual legal matters with credibility.

Right... it's rare for me to like FLs, since sometimes they're badly written and dramatic, like childish, screams…
lol I thought I'm the only one. I usually find that my liking for dramas will increase tremendously when they have likable FLs. Because like you said, most of them are badly written, dramatic and some are just not very bright thus causing unnecessary angst and misunderstanding... :(

So far, my experience with legal Kdramas are so disappointing since many of the technical aspects were so dumb and wrong. The last one I watch is The Witch's Court which makes me afraid to try this genre again. Is the dramas on this list suffers from the same fate? Because I would love to watch Big Mouth.
