I did not expect to like this as much as I did...but I'm so happy I came across it. I loved it!
One of the main things that was so refreshing was that their love was so pure Zi Jun never betrayed Tang Jing. Yes, she inadvertently fell in love with He Han but I thought about it and he was literally always there for her when she was in trouble or in need of help. That sense of security...anybody would be hard-pressed not to fall in love with the guy. If Tang Jin did not leave for a year she might have been a good buffer between then for a while but alas she did leave so *shrugs*.
But even though Zi Jun did love He Han she never acted on it and I love that. Those shows where the girl hook up with a friend's boyfriend or ex and the answer is "love" and "we couldn't control ourselves" I get so irked because irl if a friend did as much for me as Tang Jing did for Zi Jun ..as much as I loved that guy I would run so far away because I don't even think I could every betray such a good friend like that. So I really applaud her for making that decision and sticking with it. After saying all that, I do hope in the future tho Zi Jun and He Han will end up together lol.
I also really liked that the friendship between Zi Jun and Tang Jin ended...Again, that was very realistic. If a guy I waited for for 10 years (she was already crazy for even waiting this long tbh) fell in love with my best friend, it'd be hard for me to interact with her like before (I was mad at Tang Jin for icing out Zi Jun even though she did nothing and tried so hard to stay away from He Han but I understand). Their friendship was so good though. I will miss it. But it at least opens the door for the probability of He Han and Zi Jun in the future.
I will say one of the things I disliked about Tang Jin was her lack of trust in He Han, every time she suspected him instead of talking to him about it she went to a third party. She did that with Vivan and then again with Ling Ling.
This actress bears some resemblance to Jung Eum I honestly thought it was her and that she was back in another drama with Ji Sung and got so excited to watch this... I was disappointed when I realized she wasn't but the actress here did a good job.
If there's one drama where the romance brought down the quality of the story, it would be this one. The leads did a terrible job of displaying this "unbreakable" love. The FL's character was so bland and boring, it would have been 100 times better without any romance at all.
Okay this one has me hooked. I usually wait until a season is complete to watch a show, but I can't help but watch weekly with this one. I'm enjoying it so much...even the FL's naivety is not overbearing
Recently rewatched this because I'm for some reason rewatching a lot of the dramas I watched years ago. Its still a good drama (the beginning especially) but the writers really dropped the ball with the ending. I hate it and its the reason I always never recommend this drama to anyone...how can you go from such a great start middle and everything in between to such a crap ending.
Im bored. I just need someone to spoil for me what actually Director Kang thinks happened to his brother and why…
This is really late and not sure if you're still interested but his brother was Prime Minister's first wife's lover and the day they were running away to America together the car got into an accident and crashed leaving his brother in a vegetative state. Police then told him the Prime Minister's car was following his brother's car and the PM was also the one who reported the accident as a result he believed that the PM was probably chasing them hence the accident and so he blamed the PM.
However, he later found out that the PM's wife was actually the one who caused the accident because she was doing the utmost in the car (pulling the steering wheel and threatening to jump from a moving car) because her lover suggested she go back home. And in the end, she turned up alive and well.
The worse thing the writers could have done was bring back the ex-wife...it really ruined what would have been a great show and it was so unnecessary too. Its so unfortunate because up until the plot of her being alive this show would have gone down in my top 5 fav Korean shows...the ending of them only reuniting a couple of minutes before the show ends...trash!. If you're interested in watching I'd suggest just watching up to around episode 12 or 13 and then dead it!
She was a villian lmao...i was reluctant to keep watching if she got a happy ending....will she end up in charge of his family's company?...kinda felt like they were going down that road...i don't mind spoilers.
If you make it to the ending...that in itself is a feat...the show is extremelyyyy draggy...and I know people usually exaggerate these thing but in this instance girl...it drags. The ML is also utterly useless for the majority of the drama so any hopes of seeing him power up soon...kill it!
Finished.... and when you think she might have grown up a bit, she shows up as an airhead again. And of course…
Yeah I had to put it on hold for how annoying the FL was...i am surprised because the rating for the show is so good...It really has to be because of the martial arts and scenery because the FL was awful from episode 1.
This drama was really good the acting from Marika who played Rina was so good. I was convinced she was insane. Each episode had me doubting everyone...I honestly trusted no one but it was so interesting I kept hitting the next button because I was so curious as to how it would all end.
This is weird but I really felt sorry for Rina in the end. Like I was hoping things would work out for her as well. Her husband was abusive towards her and had a hard time expressing his emotions. Although I believe he genuinely loved her he was never able to express that and that in turn played a large part in why she felt like her marriage and family life was less than ideal in comparison to Junpei and Azu. I loved that her husband worked on himself to become better for his kids but Reina really loved her kids and I had hoped she'd put aside her crazy for them.
I was definitely upset that Azu took back Junpei and then he had the audacity to be mad at her for the mistake she made. The writers really irritated me with them having everyone tell her to forgive him like he didn't make the conscious effort to cheat on her..talking about "it was a mistake" umm did she trip and fell and landed on his dick? cause wtf that is not a mistake do you know how many opportunities before and during the cheating you have to realize you're making a mistake and still go ahead with it...cheating is never a "mistake" it's a decision.
I couldn't agree more. I'm on ep 17, please tell me that the FL stands up more for herself and makes better choices!!!…
lol sorry to disappoint but it does not get better. She basically gives into him always because apparently "she is to blame for them breaking up" which is so stupid because he was the one who told her he doesnt ever want to see her again....I get moving halfway around the world was drastic but he keeps acting like he had no role to play in what happened which was so annoying. Her character as an adult is always meek and mellow its hard to believe its the same person from her younger days.
Would it kill Asian shows to not have a drama with a childhood link...like honestly...I'm beginning to suspect if the writers don't include a childhood link they will shrivel up and die
Cried my balls of watching this. Everything was so beautiful. More the less this was top notch. I loved this.
Hey can you let me know if this is 96 episodes or 76 cause the site i'm watching it on only has 76 and i want to be sure before I start and become too invested.
