i know most of the time they work with a literal title then change it afterwards . i never had a problem with…
You probably already noticed the pattern - its alternate days grouped together. Also, this working title is a literal transliteration of the Korean title. In Korean, the name of each day of the week occupies only one syllable(there's a three-syllable full form but nobody uses it except in ultra formal settings). So the title isnt really weird at all :)
Is this 18 Again funny(romcom laugh out loud), Welcome to Waikiki funny(slapstick cringe comedy) or Pegasus Market funny(witty silly outrageous humour)?
loved Flower of Evil! Thanks for this lost, there are a lot of dramas I've been meaning to check out but get distracted by my fluffy romcoms XD
id also add He Is Psychometric... that drama was thrilling - so intense, in fact, that i completely lost interest in the romance arc. And this is coming from a crazed romance enthusiast. The whole ride was amazing, and the two main guys acted THE HECK out of their roles.
Thank you I am glad you enjoyed this one too ❤️ I love that (way to short) movie, I think I watched it right…
knew it... Samsung def won't let go of their territory lol - i think the have some sort of cultural department for printing Korean culture so that's why they sponsor like 80% of all Korean dramas
This is such a fun article! There's this one brand of mineral water that was in EVERY SINGLE kdrama ever - I call it "kdrama water", so I don't know what it's called 😅
As a kdrama fan, Samsung is dear to my heart now. How to find the year in which a drama was made? Look at the Samsung phone model the MCs are using. Touch Your Heart and the "share battery" function that was just so CUTE
My favorite PPL show is Samsung's Two Lights: Relumino with Park Hyung Sik and Han Ji Min. I knew it was all a huge ad but i sincerely loved the movie - gave you all the feels and was heartwarming at the same time
this one is just terribly toxic. Season 2 is better(similar plot but slightly less toxic and you don't really have to watch S1 to know what's happening), but i still wouldn't re-watch either of the two. This is coming from someone who doesn't really mind arrogant-softie or even borderline domineering MLs. This ML was just... insane. And I wanted to slap the FL more than once.
i agree, but for the sake of my beloved I'm Not A Robot, I'm hoping against hope that he does justice to the character... he was fine in My Love, Enlighten Me, but i still can't see him on the same level as Yoo Seung Ho(also my kdrama first love, so i might be a little biased lol)
I'm Not A Robot is one of my favorite romcoms in FOREVER, so I'm both excited and wary about A Robot in the Orange Orchard. Though INAR will always be special to my heart, i do hope ARITOO does justice to the plot :)
PS: If you like older-couple romance, I'd recommend the Korean movie Salut D'Amour. Youn Yuh Jung is the FL and its one of THE sweetest, most realistic, heartwarming romance ever. Bonus - a Jung Hae In cameooooo 😍
and you might like Octogenarians and the 90s... it's about two young people who learn how to manage a nursing home. The elderly characters are very well-written and they invest in their stories quite a bit(it IS about old people). The relationships between the old people in the nursing home and the young ones, along with the relationship of ML and FL with their own grandparents... everything was done quite nicely. The only downside is that it's a little slow-paced.
this will always be my number one kdrama. Do not for a second think that this is Are You Human Too with the genders reversed. FL is, possibly, the worst, craziest, funniest, most human-like robot ever. It's ML who hasn't been around humans, and that's why he accepts her completely. I love how it's basically a haters-to-friends-to-lovers allegory about the importance of trust and human relationships. It's a trope done RIGHT.
If you are entitled, hair grabbing and pulling is de rigueur.
you haven't seen even the tip of the iceberg, then. Hair pulling is Level 1. Then there's kimchi slapping, bean sprout throwing, water splashing and dunking the other person's face into food 😂 id be lying if i said i dont enjoy lunatic ahjumma fights

And i hope you enjoy Never Twice as much as I did! Im a goner for Park Se Wan, Kwak Dong Yeon and that ADORABLE baby!
