omg.........I really hope it won't happen...though if he is planning to, wouldn't this murder be a little more obvious since lately he was hanging out with her and other students can say that they were hanging out?

Yep I see what you mean; but the point was that they may have known her daughter was murdered, but they chose to cover it up. So even if there could have been evidence that there was DNA on her clothing, they did't allow for a proper investigation to be conducted. So it was just really the corruption that's emphasized.
