They keep saying Xu Kai fans always attack Bailu because they wanted Xu Kai for themselves (who even cares, we love to see his work why would we want to date him) when the fact is Bailu's fans attack Xu Kai's other co-actresses who is not Bailu because they think Xu Kai should only be with Bailu and then when we defend these innocent co-actresses they spread around saying Xu Kai fans attack Bailu. We don't care who Xu Kai paired with but I hated it when her fans degraded the other actresses saying they are ugly and old or some other insults. Where is the woman supporting woman spirit.

It was a whole mess with esports fans now attacking the cast members personally (one esports fans even go as far as claimed that he is a former classmate of Xu Kai in middle school and accused Xu Kai of bullying him at school and this matter was taken seriously by Xu Kai's company and they filed an official lawsuit towards the poster, and the poster deleted his posts and said he posted that because he wanted the tv show to be stopped from broadcasting which enraged netizens) and now the esports fans are just insulting Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao daily nitpicking saying both are ugly and fat and many other insulting stuff. But the drama still rank 2nd in Datawin most anticipated drama as netizens seems to like it aside from the esports fans. I think that covers the whole issue.

According to the new summary not the one in MDL this is outdated, Zhu Zhanji and Yao Zijin first met at a farm where Zhu Zhanji went to work with his grandfather under secret identity and they fall in love there. That means Wu Jinyan will be playing Consort Sun because they were childhood sweetheart. Also "Sun" is the surname of her family, there is no record of her real name and her father who is a low ranking official has three name "Sun Zhou Taichung" so it's possible she has three name as well but for the sake of not revealing everything they kept it Yao Zijin. Besides if you look at Zhang Nan's role it's Hu Shanxiang, that means she will be playing the 1st empress.

I think originally it was just a rumor and yesterday Tan Songyun, Zhang Yunlong and one other I forgot started filming and none of the cast previously rumoured was there

Yeah me too, but Chinese drama had to use dub most of the time due to censorship issues (if the dialog didn't pass, they can just redub it instead of reshoot the scene) but I'm glad this drama won't be dub too XD

Acting and plot is excellent.... unfortunately the editing is not, because some broadcasting CEOs are greedy and forced production to add more episodes leading up to messy editing on the later part of the series. You can try watching it first though maybe you have different opinion.

Yeah there should be barriers, and I agreed with their company action to switch up the pair as I think if it remains the same, it could affect both careers.

Actually Xu Kai and Bailu did not end up on bad terms, they are still friends now, however to put a stop on rampant rumours made up by media, Xu Kai unfollowed Bailu, they were ok until their pairings obsessive fans getting extreme (photoshopping Bailu pregnant by Xu Kai) starting to get out of hand and all the fiasco with what happen to Xiao Zhan because of pairings fanfiction all management artist in China started getting cautious and start to discourage repeated pairings in order not to feed extreme fans fantasy who went beyond characters pairings and project into the real people, that can ruin actor/actress career.

We are up to final episodes and nothing about Li Xuan's background... The regretful thing is that all the casts did such a good job in acting, except maybe Fengming and Yunshan acting, others did such a good job that even when the plot is barely moving I am only half annoyed... but the production staff really wasted this casts

I am loving episode 21 and 22, the fight scenes are great and the plot is compact.

Everything is at Hengdian World Studio XD some dramas would build new set within the studio and other dramas will use it afterwards. The place where Li Xuan meet Mr.Bai asking about his mother is a set build for Once Upon a Time Lingjian Mountain XD
