my memory is kinda foggy on the details, but I believe both had the same "corruption/hiding the truth/giving out fake news and making others look guilty...

Main male leads have a similar past, and they are both known under an ugly name connected to their past. Investigative, murders, torture and disturbing cases.

Spoiler:
Both have kind a strange ending (much more Voice 3 but still.)
Similar vibes, overall

I am such a huge fan of Hello Monster and have been looking for bright police procedural kdramas like this for years (as in not dark like OCN police shows such as Voice), and this is a must watch! They have similarities in such the main leads are connected through a childhood trauma, and they both meet again for revenge purposes. Enjoy!

Both have one, single romance dominating the story between a sunny joyous young woman and an overly serious/grumpy young man. Both stories go very fast, are addictive, and easy to binge watch.

You may like it, because it's a remake with a similar story. Both of them tell the story of a guide dog who finds it's place in human's heart and helps him enjoy life once again.

While one is a family of ninjas and the other is a family of magicians, the two series did still share a common trait which is a team of superheroes that shared familial bonds with each other who fights enemies who were born from the darkness as they try to cope with their every day lives. Not to mention there's a Magiyellow cameo as well as a sort of Magiranger parody in this. So if you like Ninninger or Magiranger when you watched it, you should be able to enjoy the other series as well.

Ka Badin, which takes place in the era of King Nang Klao, the third reign (after King Rama II). The story sets around the period when England (known as Wilat at the time) enters into a commercial partnership role with Thailand, and this historical fact plays as a backbone to the plot of this drama.
Because Haym is a good looking, well-mannered and bright boy, he is known as “Phor Haym Roop Thong” meaning “Phor Haym the Golden”. He has a knack for English and sneaks around to further his skills with an English teacher, however once his father finds out (he who doesn't trust foreigners) decides to send his son to study at the monastery. There, Haym picks up sword wielding skills. Unfortunately, accused of killing an Englishman, he is relegated to being an elephant keeper. He then masters the science of ailing elephants and becomes quite the vet and elephant keeper. Therein he meets Lamduan who is the leading actress of a dance play in Amphawa. He had already met her when they were younger, and this propels them to fall in love. However due to their status differences, as well as interference from another man who wants Lamduan for himself, Haym pursues the military forces so that he can improve his status. With his brilliance and capability, Haym climbs the military rung (so to speak) and also becomes the national pride and bravery of Badin

Both have a main lead who suffered from someone who is in a high position. Both male leads are very similar to their character. Both wish to get revenge and both make it by planing a very long time.
Generally both drama have a pretty similar story, however the biggest difference is the morales the main leads have.

While they handle lgbt issues differently (close knit adresses lgbt issues while in how to win at checkers nobody seems to have a problem with lgbt+) they include lgbt characters.
Both movies focus on an 11 year old kid (the child actors did an amazing job!) and both are incredibly heart breaking

To me they had a similar feel and atmosphere. The two movies are very different in terms of subject matter and story in general (also how to win at checkers doesnt include straight up homophobic characters). They crush you, both are dramatic bur have some nice moments sprinkled in between.
