Same male lead, some of the supporting cast is same
Both have some elements in the story which goes against the social norms
Most importantly, same Director Ahn Pan Seok and same Screenwriter Kim Eun, hence that's why they kinda feels like giving same vibes but indeed both are great dramas and actors are great they did there work really well!!

Both dramas are about two people who share a dark childhood. The main characters are both a police officer and someone involved in the underworld. In Ouroboros, the mains are secretly working together for revenge while in Kill It they are unaware of their shared past and are on opposite sides of a case.

Both are short films that focus on the relationship between 2 teen high school girls. The feelings and the little things people do for the people they care about are spotlighted.

Both are college webdramas on youtube, that focus on love, and friendship. Both are fun, wholesome, and give you the same feeling. Both shows are very entertaining and will keep you watching and are extremely bingeable.

Both of them are extremely dark that tell stories of cults and twisted faiths. Each one makes you feel unsettled inside.

Both are depressing historical movies which, among other things, touch upon how Chinese opera can intersect with queerness (both gender and sexuality).

They approach the topic of grief quite differently (Make Up has more genre/mystery elements, Dear Ex is more drama), but both are about queer characters dealing with a lover's death.

Two Weddings and a Funeral is like the actually-queer cousin of Fake Couple, it's a much more grounded depiction of what a fake marriage would actually look like and has a much larger focus on gay (cis male) community. The director is an out gay man and the difference in perspective might be interesting to those curious about these topics.

(If you're seeing this from the Two Weddings and a Funeral page, Fake Couple probably won't be for you.)

Both female leads are news reporter and both drama also revolving their career as news reporter and the news/cases that they pursue.

Both female leads also very independent with strong/brave character and personality.

The different between this drama is male lead in V-Focus is a bodyguard (different career with female lead) and male lead in Channel-X is an anchorman (same career with female lead).

V-Focus also have more romance (with multiple couples) compared to Channel-X.

Modern day spins on Sherlock &Watson, with similar styles of investigation. By studying & dissenting the crime scene, and the tale of two friends who understand each other deeper than friendship, and rely on each other wholly.
Miss Sherlock is female version which I think is a very interesting concept.

Similar vibes, time-transcending love, and plot but with a time gap from the past, 1957 and the present time, 2006. With different twist of Moments in Love to Il Mare which you won't really expect. Get ready your heart and better have your tissue with you already.
