The story of both dramas portrays real life story and characters which are imperfect and every person has his angle of story in their life.
Minus the funny scenes which made kill me heal me lighter and dark aura seems bearable. but both dramas focus on the traumas the leads had when they were kids and they are entangled in that past experience.
it has the same feel... based in high school, with a similar story premises
the love triangle is also remotely similar. and both the girls give of the same vibe

both star lee si young and is filled with action. in one drama she is the mother going after the baddies for revenge, and in another she is the side kick helping the main character in his quest. both productions are not perfect and also have lots of differences in the tone and the story but if you liked one there is a chance you will like the other.
written by the same writer, both dramas are filled with action and the dark side of the society. my beautiful bride is more a romance and is more of a single man show, where as cruel city makes you root for more than one single character. in my opinion cruel city has a much more superior storyline but my beautiful bride is also a worthwhile watch.
both productions are about man trying to rescue someone they value, fulled with action and underground world. man from nowhere is in my idea more impactful as it's a movie and gives the feeling short and strong, my beautiful bride is no less enjoyable. but are worth watching.
Red Scarf is the original version of this story, R2B is a more modern remake. They follow a story during the Korean War of the South Korean airforce and the people who come into their lives.
I feel like they are similar. They have the same vibe of saving the girl from the being kill in an accident. The main actor would travel back and forth through future and past to see the changes that he's caused by trying to save people.
These both are related to RPG video games.
Both include Romance and a Fantasy theme. Both include include a loyal friends theme/ group of companions that work together toward a goal.
Chinese Paladin 5 is a story based on the video game. CP5 is Fantasy with romance.
Love O2O is a story about a couple that meets because of an RPG video game. - I only recommend this one because there is a good bit of in game conversations and action mixed in with the real life scenes. LO2O is Romance with a hint of Fantasy.

The male leads suffer the loss of a parent, and the heroines wants to become the male lead's 'pillar of strength' to overcome the loss. It's the heroine that makes an effort to take the initiative in both dramas. A story that involves the support of friends, and romance.
The stories are very similar.
Similarities:
1. Class issue - Difference though is that despite Massaya being born of both rich parents, one being mistaken for poor. Dok Soke has actually a poor parent.
2. She is taken in by her grandparent - She is taken from one grandparent to another. The difference here is that it's Dok Soke's grandfather who takes her from her Grandmother's home. While Massaya is taken from her Grandfather's house to her Grandmother's house.
3. Mistreated by her relatives - Dok Soke has two evil aunts and an evil cousin. Massaya has a Good Witch Aunt and a Bad Witch Aunt.
4. They are both high school girls - both girls are 17/18 about to graduate high school.
5. Both girls fall in love with a much older guy - Dok Soke falls with a man who's about 10-12 years older than her and Massaya falls in love with one about 7 years older than her.
6. The family romantic dynamics - Dok Soke falls in love with a man who actually is very close to her family. He's always at her house and has protected her since she was a child. So he's been there since she was growing up. He's seen her as a kid and little sister. This blossomed into romantic feelings. Massaya met her guy as a teenager and he saw her as a kid, because of her childish behaviour and sees her as a kid sister. He protected her from everyone just like Dok Soke's guy and his feelings also blossomed into romantic feelings.
Both couples had to fight against severe family obstacles to be together. Mainly because of family obligations, duty, and filial respect. They both beat the odds. However, DOK SOKE DID A LEFT TURN THAT BLEW THE AUDIENCE'S MIND! Watchers beware!
When going over this write up it's clear to me that Dok Soke is a poor man's version of Massaya and the writers were drunk when they wrote the ending! It's freakishly similar to Massaya that it's disturbing. One could say this is a trope. There are a lot of stories like this in Thailand, I would agree---but those stories are normally switched at birth ones. This is a total Massaya story---the ending is the only flip. I felt I was turned upside and inside out for no reason.
