Similar premise: Young woman sent to live in a house full of dudes with the job to get them to act like decent human beings and act like a family.

Key differences: She marries the old guy and he dies before she meets the sons. She moves in as their mother for a number of months to complete the terms of her contract. The house is crazy. The contract is crazy. This is one crazy Jdorama.

It's a newer drama based on the same novel but the storyline isn't exactly the same so it's new take on the plot. Fu Hong Xu is again, the main lead were he must take revenge for his father who was murdered 20 years ago. On this road to finding the truth about what really happened, Fu Hong Xue, who was raised emotionless and cold befriends Ye Kai, a charming and easy going man. And he falls in a love triangle between Ma Fang Ling (main female lead) , the daughter of his enemy and Cui Nong, the adopted sister of Ma Fang Ling who tried to kill him on several occasions (she had a good reason to).

Fu Hong Xue faces many difficulties and experiences love, heart break and betrayal on his journey. Which must of been really really hard for a guy that couldn't even smile and understand human emotions...

The casting is great and the acting is pretty good. The storyline may drag a little but you find yourself continuing to watch.

Watch this epic remake and find out if this is a good drama or if you wasted a few hours of your life.

P.s. I have no idea how the drama ends as it is still currently broadcasting, so I don't know if anyone important dies or who Fu Hong Xue ends up with.

Both female leads are dumped by their finances the day before the wedding and get a 2nd chance at love. Both shows are done by tvN so they have a similar vibe as well!

Both dramas are about sons/grandsons with different personalities and backgrounds living in the same house for the sake of inheritance/place of heir. Both involve romance whereas BSM is a more idol-kind of drama.

While I was watching Montage, I was reminded of Memory by how they both lost there kid in an accident and the heart ache they felt when the statute of limitations was near...
Granted they are different in a lot of things, but both are so heartbreaking...

Both light hearted, enjoyable dramas with eye candy PUSH. Situated in a college background, childish yet intimate romance.

Because It's The First Time is also about the life of university students, twenty-some boys and girls. It shows the same problems like money (part time jobs), love life, family (dead or divorced parents). The only difference is, the main characters in Age of Youth are only girls.

First off can I say, I'm surprised no one mentioned this one. There is Galileo 2 but I never watched b/c Utsumi wasn't the lead.

This is a perfect example. Nanba (Hard Nut) is a student at Tokyo University for Mathematics. Yukawa (Galileo) is an assistant physics professor at Tokyo University. You'll notice the same campus scenes.

Tomoda (Hard Nut) is a straitlaced police detective presented with cases that need a mathematical need---leading to predictions on the killer. While, Utsumi (Galileo) is a straitlaced police detective presented with cases that need a physics understanding in order to predict the killer.

One glaring difference. Nanba is far more excited by the crimes while Fukawa is snobbish & void of any excitement. Tomoda is a bit more concerned for justice while Utsumi is highly sensitive for each crime.

Slight flirtation is found in both shows---well in Hard Nut it's one sided; in Galileo, it's clearly reciprocated.

If you liked or loved Hard Nut then you'll love Galileo and vice versa. This versio is basically, as I said before, is the same story but with a younger pair in Hard Nut with an interesting approach. You'll love it.
