Female lead: Jang Na Ra who dresses up as a boy to hide her identity.
Both historical chinese rom-coms, but personally, I think the original my bratty princess was much much much better.

Both historical dramas are about female doctors which at that time was unacceptable for females to be doctors, and both dramas involve love triangles between the emperor and the female lead.

Both dramas show the similar stories of growth of the female leads, and in both the female lead and the evil second female lead work in the same company, which belongs or belonged to the female lead's family. Both the female lead and the evil one are sisters in some sense (not by blood, but you will understand what I mean while watching).

Although the beauty that is Healer can never be compared to DOTS, I feel that these dramas are strikingly similar. Firstly Healer is saving people's lives, or destroying them, which is comparable to Si Jin. Additionally, they would do anything to protect the one's they love and thus are in pain (several) if not many times for said people. There is also a lack of a love triangle in both dramas allowing for the main characters to develop their relationship without a third party interfering. This is important as viewers are more connected and embellished into the relationship of the characters and feel the emotions they feel. There is also an abundance of politics thrown into the mix with a sprinkle of betrayal. Overall these dramas are quite difficult to compare since they address different topics but overall have similar elements thus making Healer enjoyable for any DOTS fan. Happy viewing.

Both dramas focus on two couples who don't have a lot in common, who fell for each other in a short space of time, and involves a school-transferring theme. They also both feature the actor-musician Lee Jong Hyun from kpop group CNBlue, as either part of the main cast or as a guest role.

Both deal with two very different people finding a balance with one another. From Five to Nine has more romance though and is centered around young adults rather than teens.

Both are melodramas about two people with no real kinship that are raised as siblings and fall in love in the path. In both cases, the lovers hide the truth to not hurt their families, except that in "Piano" the protagonists share a sister, causing that society really sees them as part of the same family. Sad endings.
