basically if you want to see Li Yi Xiao playing the same character and having fun with her being over the top, this is your drama
the sequel of the first. if you want more of yngluo and gianlong and if you can't have enough of palace drama and plots, you can't miss it
the long journey of Sima Yi, from gentry to ultimate power. even though both dramas cover mostly the same time and are about the same story, Secret of Three Kingdoms has a more compelling aesthetic and offers more eyecandies, but if you're after politics and plots then Advisors Alliance is your drama, don't miss the second season!

a secret plot that can break a kingdom, great script and fast action, memorable characters and strong women. the end of every episode leaves you asking for more
if you want to know how the story ends you can't possibly miss the squel, but remember there's no happiness in imperial China
same story, same characters (mostly), same soap opera vibes, but the Dugu sisters story is more compelling and let's face it, Dugu Mantuo is a fan villain

Here we have the same gender-bender genre from the folks that brought you Go Princess Go. Some of its actors appear in this as well, namely male lead Peter Sheng as the devil-may-care man-about -town prince dandy betrothed to a decorated army general with a big secret- she’s a woman.
Both are slap-kiss lakhorns.
Both male-leads forcefully kissess the female-leads.
Both female leads hate the male leads and wants to make them suffer.
The female lead is head-strong,bitter and very angry and creates chaos everytime.

Palace intrigue, lovers who cannot be together, father figures being the villain, what more?
Both MLs are the same age (in the drama) and are quite smart. While TRoF ML maneuvers out of tough spots RN ML isn't quite smart in that way. Both are brilliant actors who can convey emotions like crazy. Both have outdone themselves.
FL are likeable and not annoying.

Ma Yi Deum is like the female version of Chief Kim, LOL. there are some funny scenes that kinda reminds you of how similar they are, especially in terms of their clumsiness and unbothered attitude about anything else other than to save their ass, LMAO.
