Both are about illness and love that transcending or defying possible and upcoming death. There are days when this type of love just make the world around you so much sharper.

Both are about unrequited love and reunions. Remembering Lichua is amazing I think even better. The male lead Geofrey Gao is so yummy. Read the novel of Remembering Lichuan first before watching the show. Hope english sub are available by the time you read this.

Both of these dramas have a Mafia setting :)

Both deal with smart (as in, really, really smart), capable females that start out as slaves and rise in power, winning the king's/emperor's love along the way. Both also deal with palace politics and power play. In general, EK is more intense and has more fight scenes, but I thought the pace was good in both (little to no filler) for longish dramas.

They have the same setting (high school) and a variety of personalities.

It has the same lead. including many spoofs and goofs. The scene jump on the table. getting deep with Character development.

Both the movies have good chemistry between the characters. Simple love stories with not lot of complicated characters.

Both the dramas are better than the movies, as you can see the growth in the characters. Would recommend watching the dramas related to these movies as well.

Both female leads are sent back in time. Although there are huge plot difference between the two dramas, they share a similar sense of direction. They both start very light-heartedly and joyful only to go down a much deeper path with an emotional twist. However, the time travel aspect is a heavier story element in Faith than it is in Moon Lovers, but still, Moon Lovers is pretty entertaining without having to surround its' plot around time travelling.

same plot about 'contract' married/date, grandfather's wish to have his grandson married, rich man main lead, and simple-life-minded-lead girl.

Both have same female lead actress and tell the story of her character becoming friends with a guy who she at first did not like or understanding. She eventually gains feelings for them also.

"Cafe. Waiting. Love" is more of a romance fantasy, while "Our Times" is a slice of life romance. "Out Times" is better in my opinion.

Both dramas deal with jerk CEOs falling in love with innocent women and going crazy and being helpless. It's quite a funny sight. In both the dramas, their assistant helps them.
