Both drama is driven by revenge and hatred sister , mystery and intrigue
Two people who know each other and fall for each other but have to go through numerous trials to work out that they are indeed meant for each other.
Basically the same drama, only one is supernatural oriented with a touch of crime themes and the other is full-on romance but with a gender-bending/sexuallity questioning theme instead.
Other than that, the atmosphere and setting, the cast and the dynamic between the characters are definitely similar.
So If you like the romance in one, you'll like the romance on the other.
Both have great actors and interesting stories that will make you both cry and laugh.

A similar drama for all of the bookworms and lovers of book related plots.
Both of them are about a girl hiding her identity and pretending to be a man, although the theme is different both of the series have the same feel of romance and comedy.
Both dramas display a cat & mouse chase. The killings taking place are linked to the main character
Both are employer-worker romcoms. Another common thing is that the main lead in both dramas is the sweetest guy ever. They act prickly at first but are ideal boyfriends once they fall in love. The restaurant/cafe setting, bromance of the guys made me feel that they're similar. If you loved one, I highly recommend the other.
It's a drama and not a movie but the Greatest Love and Love On-Air have pretty similar stories about disgraced kpop stars with hearts of gold. Even the other characters in the girl group share a lot of similarities between the two.
In both a teacher falls for the student. They are both sweet and lots of romance. My rainy days touches more serious points tho.
Both are recent dramas that feature vampires and the male lead is searching for revenge for the death of a loved one.
Supernatural powers, partial memory loss that is related to their accident/murder, killers are also quite similar to eachother. They both have a very similar feel. The guys also appear to have a hard shell but are secretly total cinnamon rolls.
Women who are successful in their career in their 30s looking to find love and want to get married
If you like family dramas give this two a try. Even though What Happens To My Family is way longer, I find it similar to The Family Is Coming because they fight over the same kind of things, such as inheritance, marriage acceptance, different levels of lifestyle and both dramas deals with a family that has 3 children and it presents the story of each one of them.
There are some very similar elements in the stories - shy, seriously introverted girl who is used to being teased/bullied is gradually drawn out of her shell and makes new friends. I think Nobuta Wo Produce is the better story, but if you enjoyed it, you'll probably enjoy Kimi ni Todoke, and vice versa.
Both set in the end of the warring era, but each represents the opposing view to the other. It is great to watch the different point of view and understand that era better. Justice vs Survival & strength!
