I can see you lot, shaking your heads in disbelief: What? A BL and a K drama?!?
Oh yes!!! Both have mothers from Hell and are about sexual harassment at work. The main couples have incredible chemistry and so many steamy hot scenes(as much as it is possible on Korean main channel tv!). And they are so madly in love....

both involve ghosts who fall in love with women and both have some tragedy but are mostly heartwarming

both pictures take place in university, have a main character who wants to work in the film industry, focus on a bittersweet friends to lovers story & have a jaded but sassy voiceover. they both have extremely similar vibes in my opinion.

Both movies have the same premise - private investigator gets hired to spy on ML and his... endeavours and gets involved with him

both are set in the chinese republican era (gorgeous colours and sets :)) and both have amazing chemistry between the leads

The main leads give a similar vibe. Both the dramas beautifully portray the loneliness of the main leads.

1) Police investigations of cases through good interrogation techniques.

1) Police investigations through interrogation techniques, and the reading of micro gestures, which may not be realistic in real life.
2) The investigations hardly leaves the Police station.
3) Main character and the side kick relationship remains unchanged, although the actor for sidekick has changed and thus it's a new character, i.e. no longer Nishino (by actor Shirasu Jin).

Both have xianxia and wuxia elements along with the idea of falling in love between different lifetimes with the same couple.

Both are super short vertically filmed BL dramas that are just moments of fluffy romance between a cute couple.
