Both are historical Dramas with a Crown Prince ML, a Noble in Hiding FL with a mission and Palace intrigue. The Storyline and Plotting in Bloody Heart was amazing- the Characters not so much, but the rest was so good that it´s still worth watching.
OBY seems alot more fast paced then Bloody Heart, but both have a really high production quality (cinematography and music) and make it easy to be fully immersed in their worlds.

Both of them are about someone who loves the sport who meets someone who doesn't, but learn to love it.
Hikaru no Go has a really nice atmosphere, just like Shiko Funjatta, it's heartwarming and realistic in some aspects. I love both of them equally, and for me, they are similar.

A coincidental switch of cars leads to a switch of fates for twins who were separated 30 yers ago. Hae Kang, the elder sister is a successful lawyer married to Jin Eon the successor of a top pharmaceutical company. Their love marriage is shattered by the death of their daughter and her husband's affair with Seol Ri, which ultimately leads to their divorce. But before the divorce is officially declared, Yong Ki switches cars with Hae Kang to avoid being followed by people who are after her life. Yong Ki is the younger sister who is a pregnant widow trying to uncover the secrets behind her husband's sudden death.
After the fateful encounter, Hae Kang ends up in a horrible accident (in the switched car) which makes her lose her memories. Baek Seok saves her and allows her to live with his family till she recovers but mistakes her to be his first love Yong Ki.
Hae Kang as Yong Ki is no longer a cold and reserved person, instead she's warm, cheerful and caring. As Seol Ri and Jin Eon are in talks for marriage, he accidentally runs into Yong Ki. He is shocked at first but gradually begins suspecting that she's his wife and falls for her newly discovered bright self. She's shaken by his arrival too.

Both dramas are dark thrillers about serial murder investigations. In both dramas, the middle of the plot is a turning point for the main characters, who suddenly learn shocking details about their mental state and involvement in bloody acts.
The plot looks similar that the mother of sons have a view of her daughters in law.... But they are different and the story continues....
Although the plot of these two dramas takes place at different times and even in different countries, however, I believe that Jeong Do Jeon and Gunshi Kanbei are very close in spirit. In both dramas, we see the rise of great strategists who overcome physical and moral challenges to become legendary people from historical books.
Both Kanbei and Jeong Do Jeon were advisers to future rulers. Thanks to their efforts, such great powers as Tokugawa Shogunate and Joseon were founded. Throughout the story, Kanbei and Jeong Do Jeon, influenced by the injustice of the world they live in, form their own philosophical beliefs.

Both main characters have the ability/skill to enter into the inner world of people’s hearts (like a dream/hypnosis) to seek out clues to the truth or hidden truth of cases and may even be able to make clear of people’s forgotten memories kept deep within them.
Same storyline: Guy marries beautiful girl. Husband gets called to serve on war. Meanwhile pregnant wife has been waiting for him to return. A plot twist and the story goes on.
One is a drama adaptation and the other one is a movie.
