These dramas are so similar in concept, cuteness, comedy, and just overall freshness. One reminds me of the other and vice versa.

There really isn't anything too dramatic in either. There's nothing to truly stress you out. Both give off a feel-good vibe and make you laugh.

Without spoiling, the premise of how both relationships in these two dramas start are pretty similar. It's definitely not cliché or overused though! I love the concept and the execution is different, so it's still refreshing and enjoyable.

I would rewatch BOTH dramas (I have rewatched Cherry Magic already LOL). If you liked one, you are sure to like the other.

Both have a strong FL who disguises herself as male and a military ML who learns her secret early on but hides it for her.

If you enjoyed the brilliant acting of YeoJinGoo in Link and how he was able to switch emotions in a snap.. Then you'll be blown away how he managed to play two entirely opposite characters in one frame! Just stunningly amazing..

Queen Lau reminds me of this old drama My Bratty Princess.

Both FL is funny and totally change the atmosphere of the palace once they entered.
Another thing is they're sassy and not easily bullied. They know how to fight back.
Both FL is the daughter of a high-grade official in the court.
Both assist the emperors and give them a whole new perspective on how to govern the country.

first of all! the amazingly deep dialogues and theories about life from each character perspective that really sticks with you.
-slow paced with gruadually blooming romance
-deals with problems about family as well as survival in today's world
according to me both the dramas give a very comforting theme where instead of pining over any kind of villanizm and waiting for a typical hero-villain knockout, u just sit back and relax while watching it. your mind is stimulated in a very deep way which makes u internally satisfied
it has heart touching dialogues and carry a similar slice of life theme

Both dramas are with a male lead, starring Takezai Teranisuke, and have love stories about couples with big age gap.
In them the couple's connection seems like a whim at first and we slowly watch them fall in love after their first meeting (we witness the love growing) and both leads trying to communicate their inner feelings.

Both series have a female protagonist whose rather unassuming to start with. However, these same unassuming protagonists grow and change once they begin building, customizing and altering these ordinary puromo (plastic models) into their own unique pieces.

One is students joining gang, the other one is student joining swindlers . Both were is bad business at the beginning, but conscience kick in and became a good bad person

There's also a cute love triangle involved (also similar to cute/smart guy + bad boy) that I believe makes it very similar to this show :)

a sincere romance between a country boy and a city boy. Both struggle to find their true selves and sexuality.
