When it comes to story and genre, they are nothing alike. But if you consider the nature of pain the characters go through; the pain they had to endure for years, the nature of relationships they have; the distance and the closure, they are similar. Both pained and hurt. Both dramas have a sad vibe and tone to them. Also, both leads had a noona figure beside them and coincidently they both did similar work, so they reminded me of each other. Female leads are also similar, the smiling, innocent, but hurt type.
Plus, both dramas are amazing!!

Both a Best friends for a long time, not knowing how to break the best friend code.
Both Female Lead are strong independent women, but when it comes to love they tend to not in themselves.
Both Male Leads are very supportive and loyal to the female lead.
It is also both a romantic comedy Asian drama. <3

Both stories have cafe as the center premise and deals with the life of various cafe patrons, but Cafe Funiculi Funicula is also about time travel.
- both dramas are gender benders with the male lead cross dressing
- the female lead is kim sohyun in both
- the leads are roommates in both dramas
- the cross-dressed version of the male lead has many male admirers and is very popular
- both can be classified under the rom-com genre

- Both are medical dramas
- Doctors is more focused on the romance element and the developed of the characters from high school to work whilst Doctor John is more about the medical aspect and euthanasia with the romance as a background.

- Same director
- Same production team
- Official spinoff of Eternal Love i.e. same universe, different story
- Same genre, both are xianxia historical idol dramas
- Focuses on romance of the two leads
- The leads go through three lifetimes of life and death situations that draw them apart but make their love stronger
- Uses peach blossoms as one of the settings
I personally liked Love and Destiny more, and the two dramas are similar but Love and Destiny is still worth watching because it is very very well done too and the story is great.

It’s also similar because it has a school setting, about bullying, and friends. I recommend you to try watching it..
Similar storytelling and development, as there are time gaps in the story. The relationship between the main characters is kinda similar as well. Also Kasumi and Kentaro appear on both films.
They are both asadoras (morning drama with a female lead) and have 156 episodes with around 15 minutes each episode. Both deeply explores the relationship between parent and child.
Both main characters time slip and become entangled in power struggles. They also have a specific talent that helps them gain recognition .
Both have people in the past who were frozen and then wake up in the present. And of course, that frozen time comes with side-effects...
I just want to recommend these for each other because I think their comedy sense are pure gold, these days I don't find much comedy genres funny, but these two make me laugh until I cry :)
they are both "office/business" comedies.. both main male leads are the "not good" types, but in the end both end up doing something to help others. and the comedy sense is really similar too
All of them talks mainly about the relationship between a stranger and twins. However, stepfather step contains action while marumo no okite is more realistic “except the dog part”.
