This movie somehow remembered me of You Are the Apple of My Eye.
From it's tittle, you can guess it's ending, but the storyline is so cute and perfect to fill up your summer holidays.

Female leads are similar in personality and their lives are improved from their friendship with the male lead.
The lead female characters are similar in that they are both socially awkward and insecure but by befriending the male lead, they find inner strength and both the male and female leads learn things about themselves about become better people.
The bare bones story is quite similar, shy girl meets not shy guy who helps her come out of her shell and they end up improving each others lives in the long run.
Without giving anything away, there's at least one scene that is near identical to HanaDan as well as certain scenarios/situations that feel similar.
Both movies focus on an "unlikely" sports activity and shenanigans around it.
Both movies feature a team, but in Ping Pong supporting characters are more in the background.
In both movies Naoto Takenata plays the mentor figure.
Both movies underline the value of friendship.

Both have arregent hard to deal with nerds who have been hurt with love, but find romance in the most unexpected ways.
Arrogant difficult nerds whom have been hurt with love, but find a new romance that brighten their lives.
-Both girls act as weak ( in KMSR she is on a wheelchair, on MLP she acts like a dumb girl)
in order to puirsuit their goal.
-In reality, both female leads are strong fighter. They both protect the male lead.
-The male leads are unaware of their real identity. Both male leadss are not the usual jerk, they are caring and understanding.
-Great chemestry, action and romance in both shows.
-KMSR is best in my opinon, better fighting scenes, but both are enjoyable.

Both dramas tell interesting, warm and beautiful story about young girl, who is looking for her identity and the meaning of her life. Short, deep dramas.
Both shows are similar because:
-in healer he male lead pretends to be a geek when he is secretely a fighter. He protects the female lead.
-in mook liam petch, the female lead also has a double identity: she is a secretary which kinda acts like a retard, and her second identity is an agent. She is a badass. She protects the male lead.
-both series contain action and romance. MLP is more comedy based though.
