Both have similar set of actors and actresses. Nothing else beside that, but both are good in their respective genre
Both leads (the protagonist in NiF, the antagonist in Devil) use their enemy's dirty secrets and past deeds as their weapon to bring said enemy down while not actually doing anything besides setting the stage, thus not dirtying their own hand directly.
Only in The Devil the lead did what he did for pure revenge, while in NiF the lead did it to clean his family's name.

Similar plot about family not related by blood. I found Ugly Alert more touching though.
Even if the plots and the main characters are different, some characters appear in both dramas (in Faith they're young, while in The Great Seer they're older).
In both dramas there are supernatural powers (used to fight and to time-travel in the first, used for divination/geomancy in the second).

Both main male leads are the self-sacrificing sort that have more lives than a cat, both are in love with a childhood fried who is the source of at least half of their troubles.
Main female character undergoes weight loss transformation from the guidance of main male character. Main female character gets hurt by previous ex-boyfriend (funny thing is that the second male lead is played by the same male actor in both drama, LOL).
Gu Family Book is very touching like Healer although it is a historical drama. Perfect line up to Healer. Great OST especially the beginning story and first OST - My Eden will cure your Healer hangover!!!
Though, Cheer Up has a light cheerful tone to it and Angry Mom has a darker tone to it, both dramas are set in high school and is about corruption. It also has Ji-soo in it.
Eunji is the female lead here, as well. And this drama is also about school and friendship. Like Cheer Up, this is also a coming-of-age tale.
Both the movie and the drama involve a psychological setting and have absolutely great acting. As different the dealing with the mentally ill is, hope resonates in both.
