Both *Mysterious Lotus Casebook* and *Kill to Love* blend suspense with martial arts elements. They feature intricate plots, intense action, and complex characters dealing with deep personal motivations, moral dilemmas, and the consequences of their past actions. Each story navigates power struggles within a world of hidden agendas, while exploring themes like justice, revenge, and redemption. The protagonists in both are skilled, yet emotionally conflicted, often questioning their choices and confronting dangerous enemies.

Relationship between female lead and male lead. There is also some similarities in male lead characteristics. Both are masterpieces. You can never get boring from both of them. Should definitely give them a try.

- Servant/maid FL
- Strong, hardworking FLs that let nothing stand in their way
- Rich but mistreated bastard ML
- Super supportive ML that adore FL
- ML falls in love first and hard
- Intimate and mature romance with a "us against the world" dynamic
- Both are heavy and melancholic dramas about injustice and classism
- Both have consistent "it gets worse" approach that make them a bit suffocating to watch
- Both dramas are beautiful and moody

The plots are quite different with SoND being a revenge/business story while TToLO is more law focused.

Conversations between leads is a lot similar. Straightforward, a little bit awkward but in a good way, sincere and heart fluttering.
Chemistry between them is also similar feels a lot like friends to lovers instead of falling at first sight.
First half of both dramas focus on leads' getting to know each other better, getting closer and progress while second half is a lil more dramatic.
