GREAT 2ND COLLABORATION OF ZHAO LUSI & LIU YUNING

And it doesn't disappoint fans, their chemistry is strong and abundance. They knew each other pretty well by now so there's no hesitation and have strong familiarity in their acting. Their close friendship and the interaction is pretty comfortable. Liu Yu Ning has gained experiences and involve in many great dramas recently, he is no longer a newbie because LuSi helped him to gain his notoriety in Long Ballad. Flowing storytelling, little humor, happiness and heartbreaking episodes aren't far between like forcing us to be happily blushing and terrified in a moment away. The writer(s) of this drama is smart, female oriented drama with serious volume of masculinity where LYN comes in to role, so it doesn't bore me with female ethics but rather combination of action, self journey and love story. One thing though, the writer(s) seems to determine to kill everybody that's close to Duan Wu - none survive...(wth I have beef to pick with the writer). Ep23-onwards, the big number of head-peace & trinkets start to overwhelm. What we can see are big hair and burst of colors bling ornaments/jewelries, LuSi natural beauty is gone replaced with cheesy show-girls beauty standard. They also use their own voice...

This time around, we can enjoy maturity of YuNing's acting as Yan Zi Jing, his misty eyes are real, passionate glances and caresses on LuSi's shoulder shown affection. Nothing is fake - all sincere. Although he's over her head tall, he manage NOT to look giant over anybody. He can be cynical or sweet as well, his facial muscle seems to know how to work it, great expression. He smiles quite a lot in this drama (than Long Ballad). His life goal is to take revenge to those people who killed his family, a high-risk businessman on the side. The love story is open & carefree rather obscure one in Long Ballad.

Tang Xiao Tian (Zhang Jin Ran) came in joining 2nd ML whose in love with Duan Mu (LuSi) at the first sight although she's only a pearl diver aka a slave under duress. As a gentleman scholar who is Prince Ying's study buddy, he has job to go around the country to investigate crimes, bribery, thefts, all wrongs in the country so he can give recommendation and/or uphold justice for the Kingdom. He's a handsome guy & rightfully a scholar. While Yan ZiJing endeavor in revenge, Jin Ran works hard to find the bad guys. Su Mu Zhe should have picked this guy.

Zhao LuSi (Duan Mu/Su Mu Zhe) has good acting. Her dance is seductively mesmerizing, her dive is what divers do, her terrified look on the abuse, tears that break heart. Her tiny figure seems the cutest besides tall LYN & TXT, she doesn't have muscle so when she did manual labor scenes she appears tiny fragile. One thing she needs to do better is she needs to take vocalization lesson, she's great when doing cutesy scenes otherwise she sound like misplaced (ep1-10). Because of the hardness of reality, she changed personality to pursue harsh business endeavor. I want details, if Duan Mu go through so much painful experience and ocean-diving - her appearance doesn't show that. She still has flawless skin, healthy hair, cherry smiles. Dry crack darker skin, dry rough shorter hair should be from frequent diving in salty sea water. Bitterness, & distrust mostly from all the abuse, hunger, determine, and strong.

I am pretty sure besides these 3 actors (& Kang Ju guy) the rest aren't worth mentioning. The story on the middle are pretty slow, about business competition or jealousy (I want to slap Zheng Si guy the acting is so S***ty bad) after the pinnacle ep 18 and drop to nothing. The producer fill it with fillers to lengthen the episodes. This drama can actually finish in 32-35 episodes instead of 40. It isn't great like LLtG but I always love ZLS & LYN...it's a winner for both of them.

Nobody said no homo

Awesome isekai before things start getting homo. Spooky close. Would've been nice if they went for a more adventure comedy mystery vibe.

If somebody had said no homo might have watched it.

Boring

Dream concept was good but the director didn't synchronised well with the story . Stretched the story too much. Unnecessary scenes were there. The character I like the most in the the drama was the one who played the role of Lead actress brother. Others were also good but the story writing was not powerful so the actors didn't do much . Sometime I felt female lead did overacting .
I didn't like the story . Till 16th episode I felt that I just bearing the episode . Actually I was not enjoying watching it. So dropped it.story was personal state so by readi g other views of this drama , I found that 50% of people liked this drama and 50% not.

My review of the Blessed Girl

Before I begin, I just want to say that as of the time of this writing, this drama is currently still airing so this commentary will not be complete as of yet. However, there are enough things going on in this fantasy drama that I just cannot wait to put my thoughts into words and share it with you.

Second point, I have to say that the rewatch value of this show is quite high. As I am writing, I am watching the fantasy drama again from start to the available episode at this time.

Great Premise but Lacks Chemistry

I've completed eight different BL series now, so I feel like I have a handle on what constitutes performances with good chemistry. It's hard for me to tell if the writing is weak, the acting is weak, or both are weak. Whether it was an okay script with poor performance or a poor script with a decent performance, I can't quite tell, but I feel like it could be one or the other.

The story was interesting, but not interesting enough to overcome the weaknesses in actor performances and their chemistry. It truly felt like everybody was just reciting their lines and perhaps even overacted in some scenes. Episode 9 was my breaking point. I might have dropped it at episode 8 if not for the cliff hanger.

But sadly it's enough. It's a shame because I like the premise here. The cop and the mobster. But all the character interactions leave me wanting. I actually started and finished watching two other series while trying to get through these episodes. I feel like that communicates my watching experience the best. The two series that trumped this one were Manner of Death, and We Best Love: No. 1 For You.

So despite its high overall rating, if the most important things to you are acting and chemistry then I'd recommend you skip this one.

I found the 1st episode rlly amusing, but I think it was part to shell shock. When I get surprised, I laugh. When FL Yui-chan is in the bar, lamenting about a lost love, and it's filmed in fish bowl POV, where she's feeding a mystery person at eye level etc - and then u find out she's mourning her DOG - i was so surprised, I burst out laughing. The laughing ctd, when she tripped CEO up, and he declares his love for her the next day, while wishing to be her slave. Whenever she kicks, presses him to the ground with her foot, body-threw him, he appeared more and more besotted. So when I watched 1st episode, I told myself I was alright with it, coz it was comedic. He appeared to get off on being man-handled and humiliated and degraded.

By ep 2, I was no longer laughing.
At the end of the day, when he turned up outside her flat in 3hr wait with roses, he is a creepy stalker. Yet, he is also opening himself up to a lot of abuse. If he gets off on being slapped around, there's a point I stop laughing and feel sorry for him. Oc, this drama doesn't ask us to feel sorry, it's just Japanese drama and not everyone has to be "fixed" of their hang-ups but just because someone wants to be slapped around, doesn't mean people should oblige. Till what point will he be someone's b%^&. I know masochism is a thing, and FSOG was a thing, and BDSM is a thing, but ok.

The FL appears very irked by being made his master, and tries to dissuade him, and when she inflicts violence, I don't think she's a bad person per se. I don't think she's strong, or whatever ppl laud her as. And I know she's been thrust into this role unwillingly.

But at this stage, neither of leads are super likeable
BUT since this drama is 25min long x 6, I vowed to finish it, and also it#s not that boring. I felt like I was on an acid trip, where situations and scenes are so absurd, like painting a face with ketchup and hanging out in a tree etc, sliding face down a banister (honestly never seen THAT before, the way he did it) and THAT is an appeal so that also helps me keep watching.

I think the opening titles and song is kinda catchy. Simple, effective and i never miss it. easily the best of each episode

Overall, i don't regret watching it

Drama seems to have potentials..... (EDIT: DRAMA IS DAEBAKKKKKKKKKK)

Well ..so far I can feel the maturity and the cute immaturity of both leads... Since I am still on Ep 4... EDIT:( NOW IN EP10)

I will not want to say much. However, if I am to be sincere with how hooked I am in just 4 episodes, I will give my hooking percentage 40%..... EDIT(INCREASED TO 79%)

I hope it continues to give me joy till the last episode. (EDIT: IT IS GIVING ME SERIOUS JOY)

Also, I love the switch into motherhood by the Female Lead, she seems quick to adjust to every situation.. at least from what I have noticed in just 4 episodes though...EDIT:( NOW IN EP10)

The Male Lead on the other hand.... I love the way he acts cute towards children, even though sometimes he might be cold to other adults... he still has some kind of sweetness within him.

EDIT: PLEASEEEEE WATCHHHHHHHHHH IT....... I honestly can not breath because of the sweetness.

Also, I tend to get picky with casting....but I honestly love this pair, even though some people aint having it because of the age difference..... To me I honestly do not care about that, I mean.... why would you not love the FL..... she is a loveable type...

A masterpiece this far

Even though it’s not finished yet, I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite dramas of all time—and definitely of the year.

The acting is amazing; you can see that not only are the actors super talented, but the directing is on point too. It avoids the usual mistakes you see in a lot of K-dramas. The female lead is especially great—she actually has a real personality, not just the usual extremes of being overly annoying or overly sweet.

And the romance? Perfect. It’s a slow burn, but it never feels boring, so you get to enjoy it at a relaxed pace without feeling impatient for things to happen.

They showed all of three women had some faults in the marriage but these women are decent people I hope they get there revenge on both the men and the 3 women they all knew they where married the older man he is a joke she is better off with out him and her kids will helper the doctor is the worst I hope the wife destroys him and the lawyer I am not to sure about him I think he still had feelings for his wife but he is no good either they better make sure this men and women suffer for there actions and the stepmother has a big surprise he is only using her for the other woman she is going be one to tell or let the wife found out I feel for the kids that’s why they need to get what they deserve the cheating men and women

Rom-Com Fantasy at its best!

For me, Watching Lovely Runner brought back memories of watching kdramas way back 2000s.

It has the right amount of romance, comedy and the acting was very good. I started watching because I'm a fan of the Female Lead. As expected, Kim Hye Yoon nailed the role. Surprisingly, Byeon Woo Suk is a hidden gem. From Swimming to Singing and Acting. Both of them complemented each other. Their chemistry is on fire!

Moving on to the supporting cast, they did also a great job. They have strengthened and cemented more the story. This is the first K-drama wherein i wasn't annoyed with the villain (aka taxi driver) hahaha.

I have watched the drama for the 2nd time and now repeating eps 13,14,15 and 16.

Good ingredients but bad chef

I think this is the edited version of Korean drama, edited to typical Chinese format like,
1. Over obsessed ML, day and night he keeps on thinking of FL, he keeps on texting the FL and keep on looking at the mobile phone for the reply text.
2. Coincidentally ML and FL keep on crossing their paths, like if she go to other planet he will be there at that planet at the same place and at the same time without any reasons.
3. Always trying to make fun in all situations, their childishness I feel like mentally retardants. The most worst part is the background music, in all situations it express fun only.
This is the best drama to compare how much good and matured Korean directors are and how much immature and brainless the Chinese director’s are. May be the direction team have read the story only, they didn’t seen the drama, because it could have become little better if they have watched the drama first before directing this. All the episodes (12) are so plain and blunt, in emotional scenes, romantic scenes, while confessing also. If they have seen the Korean version at least these things could have executed in a better way.
According to my experience Chinese director’s are not at all suitable for noona romance type, they are only suitable for old history type like one and only, The long ballad, the blue whisper etc. for family, romance or corporate romance kind they are not at all suitable.

I just saw sarawats photos everywhere in my timeline. I dont give time on his photos. But then due to my curiousity, i truied to watch the episode 1, until i finished watching the first episode. I have to admit, i like it no I LOVED it. Seriously, i fall in love to Brights character. and not thinking that it would end soon. I dont know what to do if theat time came.
