Strictly for female audiences
The synopsis which introduces the male character before the female character will lead you to believe the is equal focus between the male and female character. But the title should give you an idea that this is not for everyone and is strictly for female audiences.The premise will remind you of those M&B and BC pocket books your mother used to read on her free time. Poor female pining for a change in her circumstances and an aloof rich male trying to make his mark.
FL characters and their situation in those old novels is probably what birthed the present term "strong independent woman".
FLs goal for working is not to earn money to survive but to meet a rich male she can marry who can turn the tide of her life whether that's what it means to be a strong independent woman I'll leave it to someone else to figure out.
I'm dropping the series because I have no room despairing over someone else's miserable life - I watch dramas in order to get a respite from the realities of life not to see other people suffering more than I am.

Great one and time worthy to watch
Seriously I don't like historical theme dramas but because of rowoon I watched 2 episodes and now I can't wait to see the next episodes they were really great also the OST was so soothing rowoon really did the great jon and also the casting of child actors representing the younger version were so on point that I kinda felt that these actors will definately be look alike of each other in near future. Time worthy please watch it. Also the storyline is great and kinda uniqoeyso Im hoping that it'll grew more interesting on future episodes so I'm really satisfied with the series and will follow it till the endWas this review helpful to you?
Just not for me
This storyline for me just seemed a bit childish even though it's executed by bunch of mature actors.....Wasn't feeling it, gave it chances.....
I dropped Lighter and Princess few times then Eden Zhao stole the show and watched the entire drama. I just don't see any Eden Zhao in this drama for me coming to the rescue....
Not feeling it from the male or female lead....
I have seen plenty that are enjoying the drama. If you are one please continue to watch & enjoy the drama....
I feel Chinese drama are doing the same concepts over & over & over again.... This has the taste of familiarity about it.... This is a kind of drama to watch if you are fan of the cast or the leads.... Even will my own favourites I need force myself at times....

Annoying acting of cast which ruined the show
My habit is that, even if I don't like the show I still try some episodes before dropping it , and for chen zhe yuan i tried 10 episodes but this drama is really not captivating for me at all ...i really do not like acting of casts except for tianhe and ziying , and this drama is full of elders who seems upright and righteous but are demons from inside , i really hate these kinds of elders who uses their disciples for their own good ...
i do not even like the concept that Tianhe 's father died before teaching his son some basic rules for living ...he is the worst father i have seen . His father at least told him to not believe in anyone from outside world and never leave the mountains but how foolishly he got tricked by lingsha ...
the character of lingsha is on my nerve , in ep 6 she wants immortality and for this she can even sacrifice her friends ... what kind of mentality is this ... even if she has some backstory but she has no right to decieve other people ...
even the couple in this drama are not fixed
Although CGI is good but i also do not like two colours in tianhe eyes ...
this drama is very much reminds me of snow eagle lord - very powerful ML whose powers are hidden , annoying elders , disciples got punished according to useless rules , and many more similarity ...
If the acting is better , i will definitely watch it ...but i do not want to continue when i know it is going to be a sad ending ...

Attitude is everything
There are hard hitting subjects sewn into the fabric of this entertaining High School drama, about the kids of the rich and super rich. The drama is Boys Over Flowers meets Weak Hero Class 1. Personally, I loved it. This school is other worldly in design. The Korean Drama has a high class flashy look and an attitude to match. This was a high octane ride.Off the bat, there is an Assembly to introduce the new scholarship student, the odd man out in the school for the super rich. These students are so rich that they have car Valets. The drama has smoking music, interesting script, and fantastic cinematography. Young talent showed off their acting skills. All the dots of the story were connected in the end, to set-up things for Season 2.
For those who were waiting for the highly anticipated Korean Drama Hierarchy, it just hit NetFlix. There is a death covered in this Korean Drama.

For me the best Comedy Romance since "What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim"
I've waited for a Drama just like that for quite a while now...Don't get me wrong, I've watched some of the recent Romance Comedies and I liked some of them but I didn't enjoy them as much as before. I watch KDramas from all kinds of genres so I am quite picky with Romance Dramas since it's not my favorite genre especially if they don't have a happy ending but I am always looking for some good feel-good romantic comedy and so far I've found exactly what I was looking for in this show. I am a little biased since I am a big fan of Ko Kyung Pyo and Park Min-young but I've dropped dramas from them if I didn't like them, so I wouldn't continue watching if I didn't like the drama overall. Since sad endings and law dramas are a big trend this year I am really happy that there is a light Romance Comedy Drama with (at least I hope) a happy ending. The Male lead is a judge so the law theme is somewhat also there :DThe chemistry is great, and the story is somewhat cliche but the characters are all entertaining and likable. I also think that they saved some unnecessary drama since the ML is very direct and even goes to some kind of therapy for his*SPOILER* childhood trauma so there are definitely scenes where you are just happy everybody communicates so well in this drama.
So far, I can really recommend it if you like Park Min-young dramas or the good old-fashioned Romance K-Dramas with a little less cliche.

Wasted potential
At the beginning the drama seen promising bc the MCs were enemies and the love hate relationship they have was fun and entertaining. Another thing that I like was how the heroes and enemies interactions were portrayed in a fun way instead of using a serios and murderous aura like in most historical drama. But everything changed from episode 20 and up. Suddenly it became a men drama; first they make the FL into a mute and boring character, second they literally made a war that lasted more than 6 episodes and last we barely so the FL, even the supporting cast got more screen time than herWas this review helpful to you?

Theo is a clever boy he is rich but don't like to showoff..

Also I like this dramas music I want to appreciate GMMTv for that..

Ren jialun and bi lu acting are amazing. To watch these 3 episodes i knew they both have such a great actor and actress that they accomodate so easily in both classical and modern era. I am really impressed to watch only episode 1, ren jialun is such an great actor and when i watched them together(with actress) then i feel the same aura of season 1 just with modern flavour. And i love it so so much. I have no word to praise actor, actress, supporting actor, actress and crew mombers ' work. Just to watch 3 episodes anyone can estimate that all did great job. All cast and crew members did very hard word and put a lot of effort. Its picturised very beautifully. Thank you director for such strong story . Story Could Have Been Better
Started slow but still wamted to know how the story will unfold, but got put off by the immature attitude of the Father.Story is 50/50. Although predictable, just wanted to watch it for enjoyment. But 4 episodes in, and I've dropped it.
The Father's part could have been written better. The funny parts just made me cringe, so predictable.
The funny moments were not so funny for me.
4hours of wasted time...for the calibre of actors and actresses eho were in tnis drama, the story was a complete disappointment and a waster of their talent.

WHERE CAN I WATCH THE REST? (eng sub)
I fell in love with this 2005 version of Neung Nai Suang!! It made my days so much brighter. I love the set designs, the costumes, the dances, the main guy, the main girl, and the story!! I love everything about it; it's probably one of the best Thai dramas I've watched! Unfortunately I had to stop at Episode 4 because the english subtitles got deleted. For some reason I cannot find the rest of it in english sub. I am so confused and honestly heartbroken. This show made me really happy! Can someone PLEASE tell me where I can find the rest?I would really appreciate it. I LOVE THIS SHOW!

I will Fangirl Alone IDC
For me this show IS all about sex BUT that means every aspect. All the different forms of sex, sex work, sexual relationships with others, peoples kinks. Seeing how people treat sex and what people do to make money to survive. I am very interested in seeing who explores what and what makes each of our main characters dick twitch. If you're not interested in any of those things than I can see why you wouldn't enjoy it and didn't look deeper than the sex scenes. So many watchers remind me of someone who watched a how to make a porno documentary, while they hate porn.People's sexual interests are very fascinating, Zouey has me super curious about what exactly gets him off and also WHY he is that way.
This isn't your normal BL show and if you're looking for hot sex scenes instead of maybe messy realistic sex scenes, this probably won't be for you. The first episode may have lacked plot but it DID seem like a good character study and it did begin a plot that I think is going to be very interesting.
I am very excited to see them dive in deep to find out where their missing friend is, but even just watching them and what drives them, is good enough already. First is also my favorite little horny shit character.
Side note: I do agree the acting is a bit cringe, but I think they're doing pretty well for actors portraying something that isn't exactly the most comfortable thing to film in front of a bunch of people.

hi guys let me introduce myself. i’m kay. my first bl was sotus. my friend forced me to watch it and then i fell in love. i’ve watched about... 12 bl’s not including the ones i haven’t finished and second seasons and such. i started a bit over a month ago.
i’m not doing so well at home right now so i’m trying to distract myself. i hate being here. my family is so toxic. anyways i’m acc only 20 mins in and i was like omg it’s fong from 2gether.. or is it non from dark blue kiss. i really thought they were the same person. never would have guess they were twins. anyways thats why i’m here. i think this is like my second review ever. i’m so bad at these. my fav bl so far is prolly tharntype. well acc if “the untamed” was an actual bl it would b my fav. but it’s still in my top 5 fav shows of all time. too bad china’s homophobic or something. dont quote me on that, i know nothing.
so i started this cuz i was in the middle of watching senior secret love: puppy honey on yt and in my suggestions i saw ep 1 of a show in that was just released “1 day ago”. and the title was in thai so i didn’t even know what i was watching until i found out on here when i searched up waan. (the twin actor)

Boring ML and obnoxious FL
I thought I'd give it a go but the first episode just couldn't keep my attention. Nothing about the story or the male lead made me want to keep watching. The FL, on the other hand, was obnoxious and annoying. I get that she's going through something, but with every word that came out of her mouth my desire to strangle her just kept rising. On top of that, the ML was basically a wet rag come to life, who didn't stand up for himself no matter how nasty she was to him. Say what you want but her shoving her feet on her lap for him to put her socks on like a spoiled princess while she's staring into her phone is not a great basis for a relationship. I'm sure she gets better and the writers would have certainly made sure to give her a tragic enough backstory for us all to pity her later on, but getting through that episode was - for all those reasons - an impossible task for me. The 8,0 rating this show has has convinced me that this site has lost its mind.Was this review helpful to you?
