KJ2025 The Duke of Wei’s visit was cut short and he was called away to handle some skirmishes. He was ambushed en route and was targeted by archers with poisoned arrows. This time there is no camouflage of his identity or ability. The crown prince shows up to boldly co lead the Duke’s squadron. They fight side by side and defeat the assassins. Even this display of courage and fortitude did not completely convince the Duke that the Crown Prince was the right suitor. He commended him on his abilities and then began interrogating him on his motivations for choosing his daughter. Here candor won over the Duke’s doubts. He then called out a toast to his father in law that was eventually accepted and cheered on by the rest of the group. After leaving, the word coming back to the Princess is that a very small group had interfered with her father and the Crown Prince was milking it for all he was worth. The Crown Prince puts on his usual show of helplessness and she finally calls him on it. His aide arranges to meet the Princess and gives him an exact account of the past events. He puts them in context and the degree of danger that had been invested on her behalf. She was assured that in spite of his appearance in her presence that he had sincerely put his life on the line for her several times. She sees the Crown Prince wearing the cloak she’d made for her father and she is not happy to have to acknowledge it. She let him know that whether or not he had won her father over, she was still unmoved about accepting the engagement. At a banquet designed for the princes to show off archery skills to significant others, the crown prince collapses from something added to the fruit that should not have been a danger to him. He has a chat with his father to have the princess administer meds for him. She is far from enthused with the task but accepts the duty she is given. She does now tell the prince he can drop the feint of heart act.😂Not sure who schemed for her to be in charge of the spring banquet but that was not going over with her peers. She did refuse it since not officially married and here the women could gossip that something was amiss about the engagement. The scene then goes to her ex husband who did everything in his power to plead for the Gu family. He left no stone unturned in providing evidence of their service and firm belief that a betrayal from them was not possible. As a last resort, he offered to exchange his life for his wife’s. The crown prince hears of an official retiring and ensures that the Princess’ maternal grandfather gets the position. She is not ready for his response that as part of her family that was simply his duty to her and not a power play with the court. Whether she lets her heart change or not she is now finally seeing his actions in context. Her ex is not giving up and has requested she show up for the memorial ceremony of his wife. He plans on confirming she is somehow the reincarnation of his lost wife. One thing is clear, her character somehow manages to get the utmost devotion from suitors. ShuLin is brought up on charges and finds herself facing Minister Cui. He has taken it upon himself to find every minuscule infringement from her past to air before him there. 🤣 He is not the least bit concerned about her outrage and I bet thinks she’s cute angry.🤣😂She recognizes that she has no way out and storms off to accept her job. 🤣 These two…are by far the best couple and characters in the story so far. 👏🏻The story is showing the gradual unveiling of the real Crown Prince. The Princess is already well acquainted with the worst judgments the powers that be can exercise. What she has to decide is if she can think about accepting a partner rather than pawn to deal with the corruption. She is given pause to consider since even her father was won over. However, she has all the graves of the Gu family to consider as well. I am not as worried about plot holes etc if more character driven and they maintain my interest above and beyond the flawed creative choices of storyline. For me, the main couple still holds my attention well and the secondary couple ensures I want to continue watching.

Not all of it pretty. We get apartment break-ins by goons that the good guys fight off. And then we get a pretty sick and bloody murder by Jun Woo, just to further establish his already-strong 'psychopath' credentials. Later, the bad guys seem to be winning everything and brutally getting rid of obstacles with impunity. Aside from violence and gore, Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Been) continues to crack me up with her goofy physical comedy. She is so awesome in this series.

yaoiluver cackling at the little itty bitty scratch knight gave per, I’ve gotten worse from my cat LOL and he needed stitched for that??? LOLL again also why are they using sharp ass blades for a school play fundraiser?? nothing makes sense T_T also Natcha and her friend are CRAZY, she cornered him and told him to give Natcha a chance and then was fujoshing out over him and per?? this is weirdo behavior, so is excusing Nats behavior by saying she can’t control her feelings…

Is unfortunately not stronger than the power of a domineering Mom and her Corgwn. Loved that we got some more zombie moments! Loved also how, despite losing the 'battle of the signing ceremony', Vincenzo and Cha Hung still managed to land some solid shots before walking off in bold fashion!

BobbyMcCane It looked like a very good series, and then from mistake to mistake...a man throws a bomb without even activating it, another commander with a scarf into the fight, if you watched a guerrilla series you would see how the guerrillas are dressed and equipped, and not that he throws a scarf around his neck during the fight....It should be a serious series, but I can see that it is a joke

It was unexpected for the Emperor to burn WuYi’s divorce decree. He has already surmised the tainted actions of Prince Qi. Princess Pingning has become the pawn for Tutor Xie to use. He has twisted her love for her brother to be his assassin. She might have been better off with the Eagle King. Cui Jun used the Princess letter to lure JiaYu there and plans were already set for WuYi once the disease hit his camp due to soaked grain. Prince Qi will have one less concubine because she was willing to die to expose her father’s illicit dealings with the mines and women workers. She felt responsible because her suggestion pointed out that women would be less traceable than men. The brother unleashed one of the rabid men to test EuYi’s abilities. He is trying to undermine his father but all depends on the timing of the reinforcements. Now with the Tutor’s counter Princess added to the mix the waters are muddy and no guarantees who will make it out alive. Mulian Ying shows up at an opportune time to help rescue and lighten the mood. Once he showed up I had more faith that they could hold out til help arrived. I am not sure how dark a path Lu Jen is willing to go, but I am sad that she most likely will turn out to be worse than her brother. Her protective nature for him will have no bottom line and the Tutor has tapped into that. I cannot blame him for wanting the families cleared now that opportunity has presented itself. But what is reprehensible is his poisoning the troops and using his own children to expedite his revenge. He is truly a loathsome character. There was a rapid rearrangement of pawns as the fake sister was killed and JiaYu’s mother brought out. A soldier’s amulet revealed the northern troops colluded with the Cui’s long agon and Cui Jun instrumental in accusing the An and Lu families. It is revealed that WuYi is the long lost Prince WenXi. Princess PingNing was on board on the right side but the news of one able to oppose her brother has given her pause. The real question is who will get the last Phoenix Heart token? And how will she respond to who WuYi really is.

'...see u again in season 2..."?!??? like plz - 1st off Su Li is made into an angle & she doesn't learn from her mistakes??? leave the fact she kept Gang Gang at her side (after everything she did) but she then turns around & accepts Wei De??!?? ****** someone who was exactly like her ex-husband when they started dating??? she wants to relive the same life with a different man & cross her fingers that when Wei De succeeds in life, he doesn't suddenly needed a younger more exciting woman??? idk - i don't get repeating ur mistakes or trusting someone who robbed u/from ur company. like i didn't get her need to go see Ying Ying after her release, acting as her ex-'s messenger - with her ex it was understandable as he was comatose & she was financing his hospitalization, so when he came around she needed to see him if only to finally cut ties in an amicable way. it was fitting. but like i said at the start Su Li is made into a saint - cause there's no normal human that would react & act the way she is, let alone be this giving & selfless towards people that wronged them. it's down right weird & unbelievable IMO. & then we get the "there's more to come" what??? now Su Li is gonna go around fixing the romances & lives of her employees?!? really??? or the 2nd season gonna be Wei De cheating on her with Gang Gang WTF - now that would be hilariously ironic. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************this wasn't boring, but to say this plot was great is far-fetched, it was convoluted & to fanciful to be realistic & even in the realm of fantasy it was too out there to be likeable. like i keep saying Su Li was turned into this eternal being, that did good & continuously gave of herself - even her revenge was fair & she never went overboard. i wasn't bored & i enjoyed this on a whole, but i wont say i loved this, would rewatch or recommended it. it's fine for a one off & idk if i would rush to watch the 2nd season

IrenaK Perfect transformation and perfect confrontation! Sumin's face was priceless...👏🤭 Jiwon has gotten the lucky ticket by finding a friend like Huiyeon. She's an amazing inspiration and support for her! 🤗I am also quite confident that Jihyuk might be reincarnated too, because he knew of those events. How otherwise would he have known to get the chef to go there? 🤔🤷♀️Also, could Jihyuk be that man Jiwon pushed over when she was drunk? The moment was blurry, but it could be possible, right? And that would mean that he has known her way longer than she ever expected, right? And then coincidentally worked at the same workplace? 🤨

Lifei conjuring those tree branches was, for me, one of the most epic things in this drama. I absolutely loved that! 🤩And I wouldn't have expected anything less from Xiuyuan than to stay by her side and be her ride-or-die. They have been through so much, and he has always been the one who somehow wasn't enough, yet this time he was... And I am grateful for that. ❤️🥺 Also, might I add — Riyun and Mr. Yun coming to their aid? Yes, I think there won't be a better scene in this drama than that! 🙌🤗As for the ten-year time skip... Tongzhou has lost it completely and has become a tyrant of sorts... All I can think of now is — did he ask Miaoqing to change her form into Lifei when they did it? 🫣😳 And the other thing — GELIN BETTER BE ALIVE! 😤🙏

nero truong something I’m a dai-fan for is duality being treated as left & right rather than ultimate versus inferior ，& i genuinely think fpirze has one of my favorite tacklings of it. yuuki admitting that her dark side is still her after so long of this episode having all of her friends doubt her before the truth & then chastise who they perceive to be the dark side as the bad one deserving of fourze’s lashings. i enjoyed this episode a lot ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ this was a great episode for yuuki. you also forget at this point of the show that they had a child+hood together. when baby gentaro showed up i was like ’ ’ OHHH YEAH ！’ ’ i feel like it’s tying a bow to properly send us off soon. i do wonder how tomoko will get wrapped up because i do feel like we skipped a proper focus episode on her but i do understand her not getting that with her more substancial role theoughout. i also think it’s a great decision to have her absent this episode. she would be the one to recognize the light or dark yuuki & thus kengo & gentaro wouldn’t get to be the ones to break+through. i do like the idea of both of them being yuuki & thus tomoko not being able to decipher but that might be too much to explain & this would be a quicker more convenient way to go about things. they ship the hell out of tomoko & ryusei IJFKJFKJCFSKJ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ there were so many cool things this episode though. i adore the scene of yuuki under the bridge & gentaro over ，i love the « kitaas ！» this episode being him wrapping it in to his dash to save miu & then also him reaching to the furthest point of the galaxy where we float between two halves. & the mask is so amazing in general as a design & beautfiul as a KAMEN rider thing & for tokusatsu stunt+performers. i loved the mask in the final explosion though. very vool imagery ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ final critique though gentaro did suck as a friend. yes hes stupid but he just did not meet the mark & yuuki was right for calling him out his name.
