Story of Kunning Palace Episode 11

There are a lot of plot threads all moving fast right now. No dull moments in the show. I'm. not sure I understand Xue Ning's school-girl crush over Zhang Zhe. I guess her feelings for him must stem from her experience in her former life? At any rate, the subsequent conversation that follows between her and Xie Wei is very interesting. Xie challenges her about her feelings for both Zheng Zhe and Yan Lin and quickly accuses her of liking Zhe. He aggressively taunts and threatens her over the foolishness of revealing who she likes to anyone because it will quickly become a weakness that others can target. He tells her to bury her affections deep inside where no one can see them. The interesting undertone of this conversation which is delivered in a very angry, aggressive manner by XW, is that he is clearly taking his own advice and hiding his own secret desires and affection for her. His aggressive tone is a mixture of angry concern that she is exposing herself to harm and also a strong hint of jealousy. But his words are delivering a valuable lesson that she needs to take to heart.

Could Madam Ge be Chu Zhao’s mother? I am about 99% sure she is. There were so many hints, and when she said that line, “your mother loves you too”, it completely sold the theory for me. I loved how Chu Zhao got that new guy, Liang Qiang, all confused about how she knows him and why she knows so much, and later to find out that she’s actually General Ling’s daughter, not to mention the Grand Princess! Yeah, that was pretty funny. And, oh, what an emotional moment it was when Chu Zhao met Zhong Changrong... that scene made my eyes water—they enhanced her last memory of him dying by playing with those colours again. And he didn't even know how much meeting him alive meant to Chu Zhao. Also, that political war over who will get to control General Chu Ling’s 200,000-man army? Yanfang intercepting Deng Yi’s written edict and ruining the plan to incorporate another general—probably one loyal to Xiao Xun—was smart. I think Yanfang was pretty satisfied that A'Yu would give that army to Yanlai if General Chu Ling died, because in that case, he assumes he might have some control over it himself, considering his supposed hold over Yanlai. We’ll see about that, though!I can't get enough of watching Deng Yi and Xie Yanfang exchanging their "pleasantries". It's always a delight!

i think shu had the best performance this episode. he’s a very comforting man but that’s exactly what miko doesn’t need. he says things you want to hear not things you need to hear. ren is thorny but he’s actively challenging miko to actually want something & unfortunately it’s not shu. that’s why shu isn’t good enough & is literally being tortured by the writers HORRIFICALLY 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i do like the main plot of this episode ,the whole ’ ’ you’re not singing from your heart !’ ’ is trite but it has merits here where all of these characters feel things yet don’t understand it just yet & now miko’s being forced to say something through this song. speaking of understanding ,it’s really romatnic. i didn’t get miko’s character but ren does. he understands these quirks about her & says the things ,like i said ,that she needs to hear。 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ & NOW YUUKI’s IN THE RACE YAAYYYYY. he developed really well. he was the silly boy that broke the tension in thosw show but ren & miko have gone this far. everypony else has progressed a considerable time & now is probably the rockiest part of their career+life & it’s time for the happiest go+lucky side of this show to throw in the towel this was a really well written episode. we get the silly tropes here & there but i really am buying the romance now 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i think i want to see ren truly show how he’s different. from his competitors in this show & in the genre as a whole. i think i want shu & yuuki be the ones to show more sides of miko. i think thosew two are great characters to help expand her ,i am actually really appreciative of this episode i thought it was pretty sincere. i was just now pondering this but no i do agree with how they used this date. they have already learned enough about each other for now its good to see them now just bond with each other. show us what they’ve learned

Yes, An U Jae is annoying as hell but seriously how hard is it to say "yes we're married but we like our privacy." or straight up just tell him to mind his mf'n business. It's really that simple

Oh, they are finally bringing up the topic of Chu Zhao’s mother! I really want to know more, as it seems there’s some secret or mystery surrounding her. There's so much backstory they haven't told us yet! I am eagerly waiting to hear more history of Cangmu Stronghold and the truth about Chu Zhao’s mother; I suspect both could even be linked in some way. Giving us all those little moments of tension between the leads… My heart leaps every time they bring them closer. And the way they express their care for each other? C'mon, they really are not sparing me! They better give us a kiss soon!

Overall a fantastic episode - again, the music is amazing and adds so much depth to the scenes. But wow - what the heck is Xie Wei's deal? He really freaked out about the kitten! Dude has some serious issues.

This is the first training arc for our boy, Chu Mu! I love how the story is developing so far, the pacing is great, with problems being introduced and resolved at just the right time. The only thing that worries me a little is that Fu Rou is apparently falling in love with this false persona that Chu Mu is creating, and not with who he really is, and this lie is too big to sustain (and a relationship based on a lie like that can never be healthy), so I fear that she will eventually find out and be even more hurt.On a positive note, it seems that Chu Mu is taking his future more seriously and (perhaps) his feelings for Fu Rou, but this remains to be seen.Three details I really liked in this episode were: the conflict between the second lady and Fu Rou being resolved in a very amicable way, without either party committing any truly malicious acts, just some minor disagreements, which I find more realistic and pleasant; Fu Tao's attitude towards Chu Mu, who proved to be much more friendly and understanding of his advances towards his sister; and finally, I'm really invested in the difficulties faced by Lady Cheng and her husband in caring for Chu Mu.

A good first episode, it starts already engaging the viewer showing us the action as it is occuring. My first impression was how beautiful the historical clothing worn by the characters were, with particular emphasis on the hairstyles. I hope they maintain the quality of the costumes and vary the outfits throughout the series.Li Yi Tong is stunning as Fu Rou, and her cool attitude is really charming, which contrasts a lot with Chu Mo's playful and mischievous nature (which I also like), I hope this more perverted side of his isn't explored too much, because personally, I would easily feel uncomfortable with that type of character.I loved the family dynamic so far too, with Fu Roo's mother's sweet attitude, the second madam's light rivalry, and the good relationship between siblings. The ending is a cliffhanger which makes me want to watch the next episode right away!

This episode is a masterclass in frustration. Seeing Han Sun-mi suspect Dong Baek—who has sacrificed everything for his victims—feels like a betrayal of his heroism. However, her suspicion is perfectly in character. As a cold, trauma-driven profiler, she relies on logic over emotion. Since Dong Baek is the only known person with memory powers, he is the most logical suspect for a crime involving memory manipulation. Ultimately, this conflict works. By pitting the two allies against each other, the show heightens the stakes and prepares the audience for a much more sinister threat. It’s a gripping hour of TV that trades immediate satisfaction for a deeper, more complex mystery.

That Yu household is nuts. The mom & daughter are crazy and Minister Yu not only has a crazy temper, but it looks like there must be some backstory between him and Madam Du. It feels like the show is going to take a turn towards more political drama and intrigue. Hopefully it doesn't get too heavy and lose the tone of the series so far.
