In episode 4, it seems they start to uncover each other’s secrets and identities, but there’s still a lot of doubt between them. The episode feels a bit slow and not very gripping, but it does show the growing tension and mistrust.

In the second episode, I like how the Spirit Lord and the young general quickly connect. Even though the young general is human, he’s smart and witty—he tries to test Xiao Hehe to see what abilities she has, and ends up discovering something unusual.

From the start, the story was already confusing. Why Shiyi's father had to die and all that was unclear to me. All the clan relations and who was who and did what to who were also very confusing because there was no reenactment of the past but only mentioned in passing. Couldn't quite grasp the antagonism they had with each other. Also, I didn't quite understand why Shiyi had to be mentored by Zhousheng when he wasn't really teaching her anything. And a master who goes away for 19 months teaches what? So they grew close to each other when they were that long apart? That was ridiculous. So I could've ignored all that and continued watching, but with all the comments saying it's a sad ending, it doesn't seem worth the time so I skipped to the last episode and indeed it's a sad ending! It's rare that the second lead/villain succeeds in killing the male lead 😱 After all, it is the main lead's show to begin with! Sadly, it's a Romeo and Juliet type of ending, which isn't my cup of tea 😢

nafisa BRO HER SUBSCRIPTION ENDED RIGHT BEFORE SHE COULD KISS EUNHO so after a month of waiting she finally pays the subscription only to get the “basic” plan that didn’t let her pick her dates and so she did like bare random ones LIKE SOME TERRORIST FLIRTED WITH HER WHILST SHE WAS A PLANE ATTENDANT UNTIL HE PULLED OUT A GUN AND MIRAE WAS SAVED BY AN NIS AGENT (Korean equivalent of fbi) Mirae got hooked on a blind date at dayeong’s housewarming party since she’s trying to rekindle her romantic life and not be so virtually-absorbed but the blind date didn’t work out since the guy was polite but WAY too fast-paced like he literally wanted to see her again the same week, like gosh calm down you just met. AND THEN YUNSONG UPPLOADED A WEBTOON WITH A TYPO AND YUNSONG AND MIRAE GOT SM HATE. BUT GUESS WHAT? SHE GOT HOME AFTER WORK ONCE AFTER THE WHOLE TYPO THING AND SHE GOT SUPRISED ON BF ON DEMAND WITH A PART 2 CONTINUATION DATE WITH EUNHO AND ITS SET AFTER 10 YEARS LIKE AYAYAYAY.

KJ2025 This episode had a lot of action but I found myself fast forwarding through a lot of the assailant’s chase. I liked that Fei hid well and came to the rescue of her friend. It was a nice leap from Qin and Shen to escape the fire. It was also nice to see his dad with him in hospital. As funny as Qin was sneaking snacks, it is surprising there wasn’t a visit or gift for Shen as a thank you and get better soon gesture. Another surprise is that Qin could cook even a little bit. 😂 Shen’s friend deserved the wallop for sneaking up on him after all he’s been through. The friends on both sides are all focused on romance, and while that is what everybody wants to see, I would have preferred to see the girls reunited with their families. After stretching things out so long they shifted to main couple rather than let use see a happy ending. Tong’s mother has reason to feel guilt, but for Lian to stay silent and not express remorse for his part in dropping her off in dark alley, fell flat for me. I find him more guilty than the mom since he agreed to pick her up and get her home safely. It turned into a let bygones be bygones conversation, but not seeing the girls in the aftermath of the incident also fell very flat. Tong was very misguided in her actions, but they could have shown her the proof of his innocence and let her know the red mark was an important clue to find the real culprit. Also, what happened to her two bodyguards? They could have had a kid network for food etc. It went from let’s drag this angst out to pushing the girls out of the way to make way for possible romance. 😝 This was the most personal case they have had and they did not let us see the resolution from the girl’s perspectives. We did at least get to see the adult she ‘trusted most’ handcuffed, but it would also have been nice to see the step dad rescued from the trunk.😝For the judge’s wife that needs to have a mastectomy, I am not happy with the doctor he chose that is now seeking favors in court. He needs to have Shen’s mom be her doctor. With this, he should have always respected his wife’s opinion first, rather than going for quicker and cheaper. He is now seeing the results of his favored choice.😝🙄Shen moved up Ding’s court case for Qin and a video conference call has started. Qin finds her client’s answers cagey and asks about the burn from their last visit. The episode ends with Qin stating she doesn’t believe it’s her client.

Eunho and mirae at the start made me cringe especially when she tried to get him to like her but towards the end it kinda helped to fill in the drama between sejun and mirae, BRO SEJUN BROKE UP EITH HER BECAUSE HE DIDNT KNOW IF HE COULD LOVE HER FOVER SINCE SHE CHANGED, BUT HER ARGUMENT WAS THAT HE CHANGED NOT HER. but then she admits after the simulation with eunho it kinda made her not hate sejun no more. GYEONGNAM SO CUTE THOUGH he saw mirae use their massaging chair at work and she was sleeping since she was using the bf on demand headset most of the night so she barely got any sleep, so he turned the lights off BUT THAT WAS UNTIL DONG MIN CAME IN LIKE BRO WONG PLACE WONG TIME GET THE HECK OUT. But yeah I like this kdrama the only reason for the low rating for this episode, was because of the cringy flirting but GOSH MIRAE WAS SO BOLD LIKE SHE WACKED EUNHO WITH HER HAIR AT LEAST 10 TIMES DURING HIS UNI LECTURES. But after they started bonding, and the uni students/their friends were having drinks and eunho and mirae left, and it was raining so they got wet, and she took him to the laundry room, and he got so FREAKING UP CLOSE TO MIRAE ONLY TO TOUCH HER HAIR AND SAY “YOU SHOULD DRY UP, OR YOU’LL GET A COLD” LIKEKEK EKKEKEK. and at the end mirae was asking eunho questions like “will you still remember me even if you marry someone else?” and “will you remember who i was at the start (of the relationship) or end?” (BASICALLY QUESTIONS MIRAE WANTED TO ASK SEJUN) AND EUNHO REPLIED “even if my heart doesn’t remember, my memories will never go,” and “you at the start and end is still you” (so he’s like all of it is a part of u so I’ll remember it all) and that’s when she finally gets some sort of closure to the relationship u could say. AND YK SEJUN CALLED MIRAE SAYING SORRY BECAUSE BECAUSE YUMI, SEJUN FIANCÉ AND FIRST CRUSH, SENT A WEDDING INVITE TO A GC WITH MIRAE, AND SEJUN FOUND OUT AND HE KNEW IT WOUDLVE HURT MIRAE SO HE CALLED TO SAY SORRY AND AFTER IT WAS AWKWARD SO THEY HANGED UP. YK I giggled so hard because mirae and gyeongnam was at a company dinner and they both left early but it was raining and gyeongnam asked if mirae was going home and she said no but then he asked if she was going to the office instead and she got offended because she interpreted it as that gyeongnam thought that mirae had no life so she got pissed and said she had a date and so gyeongnam left with his umbrella SO SHE HAD TO GO HOME IN THE RAIN AND GET DRENCHED BECAUSE OF HER IDIOTIC-NESS.

viola puts on my clown nose. i liked it. and i love my fox girlies. but also the bar is so low considering gjm's horrific track record. i'd rank this first episode leagues above fangs of fortune, but still below my journey to you. tell me why there had to be such a long fight scene. beautiful choreo obvs but also can we get some character time?

I love the production, the storytelling, and the acting and on-screen presence of Dilraba and Chen Feiyu, as well as the stunning visuals. The opening is amazing, with a funny Spirit Lord trying to live and get along with human society. I think the first episode is truly hilarious.

Tong has kidnapped Fei and is trying to force Shu’s husband to confess to rape to have her returned. Shu and Tong’s mom have collapsed from the stress. Her friend’s dad has both got meds for Fei and contacted stepdad to get her. It’s pretty clear one of these men are the culprits of the assault. They are dragging the angst of this story too long and making the women look fragile. They really need to wrap this up. The young actresses are doing an excellent job. The older has the sullen distrustful attitude down well. Fei is finally being a bit communicative. She doesn’t trust the friend’s dad like Tong does. At end of episode Tong is being chased and not sure if by friend or foe.

I rate this guyss, we start with mirae having her dating stimulation with siwoo, the male lead of yun song’s most popular webtoon, and mirae loved it, and then out of nowhere she gets told another webtoon, who’s producer (NOT WRITER, A PRODUCER OF A WEBTOON IS KINDA LIKE A MANAGER IG WHO GUIDES YOU THROUGH THE WEBTOON PROCCESS AND OVERSEES EVERYTHING YOU DO AND WORKS FOR THE COMPANY WHO PUBLISHES THE WRITER’S WEBTOON) was gyeongnam, will be now releasing its new episode as the same day as yunsong’s webtoon, which got mirae worried since if the ratings fall low for the webtoon, she would be cooked to since mirae a producer for the webtoon. So they start brainstorming, and mirae like “the viewers call it a cliche when ACC it’s a classic, a chaebol heir, which makes them come back to the webtoon all the time”, so now she remembers she has siwoo as her dating stimulation character so she has a date with siwoo (with the headset on, a device used so that she can play the dating stimulation) and after she got inspo and told yunsong who get straight to work. Since gyeongnam and mirae were producers for webtoon that would release the episodes on the same day, they would do overtime together in the same office, which was awkward, so gyeongnam went down to coffee and he ordered two (IT WAS THE SAME ORDER AS MIRAE EVEN THOUGH THE SHOW DIDN’T SPECIFY IT WAS SO BAITTT HE SO CUTE AND NONCHALANT) but only for mirae to come right after he ordered. They both got in the lift together, and she asks about the extra coffee, and he says he was gonna drink it on his way home. Now it’s the day of the webtoon release of yunsong and SHE CAME OUT #1 ON THE LEAGUE SO SHE DID BETTER THAN THE WEBTOON GYEONGNAM WAS PRODUCING. SO AFTER mirae goes back to her stimulation with siwoo, only for him to to ask if they wanna get engaged where she replies with spitting food out. Very polite of mirae honestly. BUT HE WAS RANDOM ABOUT IT LIKE IK THEY WERE ON A DATE BUT STILL so then a few dating stimulation dates after (put simply, a few more dates with siwoo after) they at the beach and he’s on about how he’s never asked for anything from anyone as a chaebol heir,AND THEN THEY KISS AFTER LIKE THIS REALLY HEATED EYE CONTACT and then he pulls out the engagement ring he got for mirae, but he specifically asks instead “do you wanna be my girlfriend?” TO WHICH SHE SAYS YES AND HE’S ABOUT TO PUT IT ON ONLY FOR THE STIMULATION TO GET PAUSED SINCE SHE CAN ONLY DATE A MALE FOR A MAXIMUM OF 50 HOURS WHICH MAKES MIRAE GO INTO A SPIRAL AND SHE WAS ABOUT TO GIVE THE HEADSET BACK SINCE IT WAS A BETA SERVICE BUT THEN THE WORKER OF THE COMPANY “BOYFRIEND ON DEMAND” (the dating stimulation) CONVINCES HER TO KEEP IT AND SHE GETS A NEW PERSON FOR THE STIMULATION HE’ S HONESTLY THE FINESTSTST HIS NAME IS EUNHO

The female lead in this drama isn’t actually that annoying. She has logical reasons and trauma that shape who she is. It’s just that her perspective isn’t shown as much, which makes her character feel unbalanced compared to the male lead. But we should wait until the drama finishes before making a final judgment.
