Crash, boom, bang

One has to love those anthology miniseries, as they get to the good stuff quickly. Here we got a strong 2nd episode of the SurfJava temple love tour which included banter, teasing, tension, a proper climax and a smart subversion of expectations (just when you think Tum escaped with Oh's pants, he comes in with a knowing little smile). As a duo Surf and Java work here much better than in H2H - mostly, I think, because of tonal differences between the shows. Same applies to Surf, who seems much more relaxed and comfortable portraying Tum than he was with Farm. The entire "give me your pants" scene is an instant BL classic; Surf moving his hand to Java's waist sealed the deal.

Looking at everything that acting should have from many angles, unfortunately Peat Wasuthorn Chaijindar is a very bad actor, you can read his face in advance what he will do or say. It can be seen that he did not graduate in acting, but was trained. Fort Thitipong Sanggey is solid.As for the script and the series itself, there are many ambiguities, the director thinks that we are in his shoes and that we know what is happening, it is so confusing and he runs from stage to stage in a period of a month, 6 months and even a year, so it is very confusing to watch. We don't know what the director had in mind, we are not in his head.

how ironic, i started this detesting Jimmy (& it's not that i love him now, but i don't actively hate him) not with Toh & Teh topping that list, like WTF... the way Teh is acting, i genuinely believe he "wants" Jimmy, dude is constantly thinking about & following him around, like a lost puppy. heck he cares more for him, then his own brother - he might say he cares for them equally - sorry family comes 1st & from where i am sitting Jimmy wasn't a good friend - period. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** & Fah (the ultimate power bottom) is the only sane/smart one in this BL - if i was him, i would've dropped Teh the sec i realized he was trying to setup his brother back with Jimmy. cause that tells me there's something not right with Teh's thought process & i donno if i would want to be in a relationship with someone that f*cked in the head, sorry not sorry, his priorities r messed up. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** really like the dentist & knew he is gonna get unnecessarily used & then tossed aside - meeh very cliché. heck maybe Fah can be with him. cause the more i watch this, the more immature Toh seems & now it's logical why he fell for an immature moron like Jimmy. if Toh was mature, he would've been candid with the Dentist (when he asked him the 2nd time to be his bf) & told him that he was getting over a recent break-up & he needed time, instead of playing coy -that's just annoying ! but we 2 eps from the end & "we" need to drag this out, so we get the "happily ever after" in the last ep. personally i don't feel there was enough time to see a growth in any character, for anyone to buy the sudden 180 with Jimmy, let alone Toh who was a doormat from the start, how/why he suddenly grow a backbone?? oh well i just hope they don't harm the cat - like a "boy who cried wolf" scenario - leave the cat of this mess thank U

I dont think I understand what the whole truth or dare thing is. GOOD SET UP FOR DUNK JOONG BUT WE ARE LITTLE BITCHES. Show took so long to come out, it aint even 2025 anymore. What is this show about? I think everyone is sus besides jades brother. Yeah dont make terrible charcaters if you want me to feel back for them dying. I did not know this was like a serial killer thing, i thought it was just one murder. Leon fucking kennedy and joong shirtless with some random ass tattoo. Worst then goddess becasue they dealing with real people, not ghost. HE CANT HANDLE ALL THAT, I CAN, I SWEAR TO GOD, I CAN HANDLE ALL THAT. OH MY GOD, I CAN HANDLE ALL OF THATTTTTT. I don't know if it is my mood, or the fact that I get more difficult with times but I don't get the hype for this drama so far. The timelines overlapping each others keep confusing me, the characters are various and except the two mains do not stay on screen long enough, so now I'm confuse because I don't know if a character I saw do something suspicious is this one or that one. I found this ep to drag in length, the interesting part were nearly the last 20 minutes as they were fairly predictable. I've start doing something else while watch, bad point and wanted to fast forward, another bad point. I'm gonna put this review over the fact that I am getting more difficult with drama's quality.

Doesn't go the easy way

It's nice to watch a GMMTV show which is a pure BL - by which I mean that it is entirely focused on the love story (love stories) instead of dividing screentime between that and other, setting-related storylines (like "Dare You To Death" tries to be combine romance with a detective story). It's even nicer to listen to dialogue which isn't as shallow, superficial and vapid as it's usually the case; dialogue that actually comes from something (instead of coming out of nothing "because of plot"). This should be a simpler way of making a show, but - for some reason - it's not the easy way. Poon and Ohm continue doing well, while Junior wrestles with some comedy stuff. At one point (last scene in the car) even Mark gave a watchable performance, with bits of his delivery being so different (and so much better) from everything in this and his previous shows, that I was pleasantly surprised. Keep going, it's getting interesting.
