TALKING ABOUT THE MUSIC FESTIVAL THANK GOD YIJIN LIED TO COACH YANG SO HE COULD TAKE YURIM AND HEEDI AND OUT OF TRAINING AND INTO THE FESTIVAL. AND THE BAND’S GUITARIST HAD TO GO AFTER HIS GIRLFRIEND SO YIJIN SUBSTITUTED AND IT WAS SO CUTE AND HE WAS IN THE SKL UNIFORM AND BECAUSE OF IT HEEDO MADE HIM READ AND OLD BROADCAST SCRIPT ABOUT HOW THEY SHOULD STAY STRONG SICNE THE CSAT IS COMING AND IT WAS CUTE. AND HEEDO MUM MADE ME SO SAD LIKE WDYM SHE HAD TO PUT HER CAREER FIRST OVER HER HUSBAND SINCE MANY OF HER SENIOR WORKERS DIDNT WANT HER IN HER POSITION SO SHE HAD TO PROVE HERSELF EVEN IF IT MEANT MISSING HER HUSBAND’S FUNERAL EVEN THOUGH SHE DIDNT WANT TO AND SHE COULDN’T ATTEND HIS FUNERAL BUT SHE EVENTUALY BROKE DOWN WITH HEEDO ON HIS DEATH ANNIVERSARY AT HIS BURIAL AND IT WAS SO SAD IT MADE MY CRY MAN.

💔 A Fight, A Goodbye & Unspoken Feelings

This episode felt a little like a breather after all the chaos of the previous ones, but emotionally it packed a punch because we finally get the first real fight between the FL and ML.His jealousy has clearly been building for a while and he finally asks her to wait for him. But the problem is he still hasn’t actually told her how he feels. The FL calls him out on it in the most honest way possible — why should she wait for someone who won’t even admit he cares about her?It’s such a painful moment because you can see they both care deeply about each other, but pride and timing get in the way. The FL refuses to hold on to false hope and insists that if he’s leaving, then it needs to be a clean break. Honestly I loved how strong she was here. She might love him, but she’s not going to abandon her self-respect.ML leaves on bad terms, even ending up with a wound on his face after their argument. But before going he quietly leaves birthday gifts for her — tools, money and arm protectors. They’re practical gifts that show how well he understands her life and the dangers she faces. It’s thoughtful, even if he still chooses to walk away.Meanwhile the political plot keeps moving. At court we see the familiar bickering duo again, and news arrives that Marquis Wu’an is still alive. It should be good news, but the Prime Minister and his family don’t look particularly happy about it.Back in the village the impact of war is starting to hit home. Mr Zhao and the thug boys are conscripted and head off to battle, leaving the women behind.Manager Yu decides it’s too dangerous to stay and plans to leave with her son. She even asks the FL to come with them, but the FL refuses. She believes the ML may also have been conscripted and wants to stay in case he returns.Unfortunately things go wrong very quickly. Manager Yu and her son are attacked by bandits on the road, only to be rescued by Qin Min of all people.Which raises even more questions about what he’s really planning.Overall this episode felt like it was setting the stage for the next arc. The emotional conflict between the leads is now out in the open, the war is beginning to affect the village, and Qin Min’s involvement is becoming more suspicious by the minute.
