was wondering about his dad, telling him to use his own money & here more then once he used other peoples money. i was sure when he reigned consciousness the cop was the one, that cause him to freeze & blackout. but it was taking other peoples money. ironic, mean he can't "steal from the rich to give to the poor"...lol - *********************************************************until now (like i already mentioned) the romance wasn't something i really cared for, but the fact Min Suk said that Sang Ung puts up with her, shows me that he is very appreciated & it's not that i didn't know she didn't care, but there is caring & then there is loving & think this is the 1st time that is obvious that this couple really & truly loves each other flaws & all. that is quite a romantic thing.

LiuYun’s memorial and last item of collection

Fortunately a doc was there to stitch up BeiLu. So while some worse for the wear, everybody survived the ill intended game. As apology, the elder offered each 10k that the winner alone was supposed to get. He was quite surprised when they turned it down and agreed to visit together at her memorial next month. The air has been cleared and they all are being their better selves. The elder’s car is at a different sprint and when he reached the car the new aide was introducing herself. However she looked exactly like the one that had been at the mansion the last month. So who was she? Guessing LiuYun paid a visit to literally beat some sense into all of them.😝 BiZhi has a get together at his home and is making toasts to everyone. It is coming across as a farewell party and they don’t know it yet. BeiLu is disappointed there was no toast for him. The market lord is annoyed BiZhi and BeiLu did not show up for her festival. She is pacified with the swing but comments that the next item is the last for BiZhi to collect. He is looking for the Autumn Twilight painting and the artist is a drunkard depressed he can’t pass the exams to get married. He has failed several times and refuses to try something else. BeiLu is all for taking the painting and while BiZhi is trying to stop him, the drunk artist wakes up enough to grasp what they’re doing and kicks him out of the house. So this time, our two time travelers bring a table loaded with wine bottles to try a second time for a bribe. They sweetened the deal by paying off his tab as well.

Liubo chess game completed

The board makes players blinded by their obsessions while playing. Elder Yu was over the top revenge mode and completely ignored his part in secluding his daughter and not telling her what he discovered. When Scrappy shows up with her favorite cake, it turns out she knew his circumstances and they really loved each other with every intent of coming back to live with him as family once studies completed. That was an unexpected twist for him. BiZhi is complementing BeiLu for doing so well whe BeiLu collapses. He was stabbed and trying to play hero.

until now i was kinda uninterested in the romance & it's not that now i am interested, but finally Min Suk did something of worth when she confronted the cops, like WTF(!) they r after Sang Ung as if putting him behind bars will solve & stop all the crimes in Korea. he isn't the bad-guy & not the one causing the problems. if anything he is one step ahead of them & trying to prevent, if not stop the crimes from happening. so from the start i have been so confused, as to why the cops have latched onto Sang Ung. so glad Min Suk opened her mouth - even if that didn't help Sang Ung, at least she voiced what i was thinking from the start.

Playing for chessboard

Their host remembers BiZhi, but he has to pretend it was his father to account for his youth. The guests leave their gifts and the chatter between them is far from friendly. They admire the collection but BiZhi notices the security guards. They are then invited to play a live action chess game after BiZhi says he can play. The guests are divided into two teams for live action chess. So the ‘pouch’ was the dagger of a dead girl. All the players except BeiLu and Scrappy were involved in what happened to varying degrees. There is an additional eerie atmosphere because this is also her bday. The host leaves to change into warmer clothing and comes back with the memorial of the girl that is missing. Not sure how the martial arts Homg is doing but surprisingly he is the one removed from the board. BiZhi is trying to hurry things up for fewer battles but the elder is t letting it go. He tells BiZhi his time used to be taken up by playing chess with her, but she is now the missing member of the party. The game continues…

so was wrong & Sang Ung wasn't as gullible & moronic as i thought he was, still their breaking into that place didn't help them as i am pretty sure the lawyer already knew about the human experiment's. but given having money is the difference between life & death idk why Sang Ung doesn't always wear those underwear Eun Mi brought him, always keeps emergence cash - heck keep ur really wallet there.

OH HOLY FN HELL

WHO SAW THAT COMING NO ONE THATS WHO MF WHAT A FN PLOT TWIST HOLY FCK that one episode just beat the previous 14 episodes as being the best episode of the entire series WELL FN PLAYED WELL FN PLAYED! - What really seals it is how personal it feels. It’s not just a plot twist, it’s a trust violation. The show weaponizes your emotional investment, and that’s why it hits so hard.

after ep 2 kept thinking Sang Ung was an antihero,…

after ep 2 kept thinking Sang Ung was an antihero, but nah dude a stupid hero. the sec he found out he rushed to tell Min Suk even though his father told him to keep it a secret. this time when he was gonna make a life altering decision, he is keeping it a big secret from her & trusting a group of people that have been attacking to kill, from the sec they bumped into each other.the fact he saw the money says what? that he will be alive & well after the procedure, to walk out on his own two feet??? the fact he saw incinerator's where human bodies where piled one on top of the other, waiting to get "toasted" that not a warning sign?!??? ******************************************************************************************************************************here he couldn't even count the money & he still happily sat on that chair?!? like r u serious??? the fact he is the hero is really rubbing me the wrong way & it's not just cause he always does what u don't want him to do, but when he finally does the right thing, it feels like he will wait until the very last moment before moving ass. *******************************************************also the group of three, having a fight in the open is beyond ridiculous. given how all the "hero's" & villain's have been going about their business, i am shocked that they still a secret - that nobody knows they exist. *****************************************this whole plot is giving me a headache - cause i can see so many problems arising from the moronic decision he make's, didn't think watching a drama could be this stressful OMG

The Most Satisfying Ending

Thank you, Gu Man, for guarding over your script for Shine on Me. This was the most satisfying ending in any drama I have ever watched.

We all knew this wreck was coming.

And it was still painful to watch. Hao Ming clearly has major trust issues and so only is willing to deal with people as pawns to be manipulated - including Xu Yan. The fact that he purposely kept preventing her from telling the truth to him several times in the past only to coldly throw her lies in her face as if it excused his lies was pretty cold and, well, illogical. If he applied critical thinking and acknowledged that she had tried to come clean to him, he would be able to realize that his assumptions are wrong about why she lied about her past. But he won't budge and remains cold, even after she makes a very clear and honest appeal. This implies that his trust issues are pathological, probably caused by some trauma in the past. At this point, he is just treating Xu Yan like a possession. Watching her painful tears as she submitted to his unyielding coldness and sat down to eat the steak was so painful to watch. But she goes along with the now-faux marriage at first because she clearly feels trapped by him (and her own lies), but towards the end of the episode starts to lay the groundwork for how she will escape the trap.

Sensual

What an awesome episode. This cat and mouse game is being played perfectly. This is beyond romance. It is a game between two narcisstic psychos bying for power. The tension was on point. The emotion was a perfect ten. Kudos to Off, Gun and Dew.

can i swear on this website?

i wish gls would stop pushing the narrative that it is at all moral or noble to abandon your partner to please your homophobic parents. it's weak and cowardly and straight up pathetic. and then not only does prem dump pat (and she's not mad at her parents at all?), she also lets them push her into the arms of that man? wth!!! this predictable nonsense always has the same cheap resolution, too: prem's crappy parents will see how sad she is without pat and then they magically become not-crappy and let them be together-- these writers who continue to peddle this angsty, melodramatic storyline should be ashamed of themselves at this point
