Komatsu is the heart of the unit. She is the one to make people smile and wants to be the world’s greatest midwife. She is a loud extrovert compared to the rest of the more quiet and reclusive staff. After her collapse her friends literally carried her to exam room to get a much needed checkup. The learned that due to a combination of other conditions that she had a chocolate cyst. She is getting past childbearing years so they agree a hysterectomy is her best option. She takes a while to think about it. She goes to her reunion and one of her colleagues has learned she is pregnant. Komatsu is so happy for her and so sad for herself. After reflecting, she realizes she can adopt and that she has brought thousands of babies into the world over her 20 yr career. She gets the operation and returns to clinic where they pretend it’s just another day. Dr Shimoya runs in and gives her a heartfelt hug and the rest of the staff smile, glad they are together. The sr that has joined them resents more than appreciates the help they give her. She wants to prove herself as a doctor and that having a baby won’t make her lesser than anyone else on staff. She apologizes to Shinomiya and will do better about accepting help when needed. Dr Sihrkawa is coming into his own as a neonatologist. He gave a lecture at a convention and was noticed by a prominent pediatrician. After that he started getting more full of himself. He admonished a nurse rather sharply and when his mentor tried to advise him about something, he was cut off and informed not to worry because he was well aware of what his capabilities were. The mentor shakes his head sadly wondering what happened to the shy young man to turn him into this arrogant jerk.😝 Di Sinomiya gets a job offer and drops by where Baby performs to have a chat….and the episode ends.

Now this is how you write the pilot episode for a psychological thriller. Absolutely fantastic introduction. The acting is amazing, Go Hyun-Jung kills it as I-Sin and she has already become a favourite of mine. The directing and editing are perfect and create the proper atmosphere, while the pacing is very suitable. I have very high hopes!

This episode has Dr Shimoya filling in at another hospital. She becomes close to another patient that is also named Kae and is the same age. They develop a friendship and Dr Shimoya plans to go to her wedding. She also grinned at baby being named Sakura, because to her was a boy’s name. When she was getting ready to leave, she saw the patient’s hand shake and mentioned it to the attending doctor. She asked if any thyroid problems and was told no. The Dr did, however, say he would check her blood on Monday for thyroid issues. The next day the patient went into cardiac arrest. She suffered from what was called a thyroid storm. They saved baby Sakura, but were unable to save the mother. Dr Shimoya was devastated. In a meeting the head of emergency medicine wanted to know why no ob/gyn checked thyroid or noted the symptoms. Dr Shimoya stayed quiet and became more and more withdrawn. She over reacted initially by having every mom get thyroid tested. Not only did she get the clinic behind with appointments, she was making new moms to be more agitated and nervous. She was ordered to take leave. During her week off she was uncommunicative and gave no clue if coming back. Komatsu invited her to a concert and Baby’s playing helped her resolve to come back. She was unhappy with her lack of overall body knowledge and asked to train in emergency medicine. Her dept is proud of her but the ER staff not as impressed. The Dr she respected from ER told her point blank if she only came there to learn, she should leave now. The head of the dept doesn’t think she will last a year. It will be a very big change for her but will make her a more confident and capable doctor. After she leaves dept, their sr who had just had a baby signed up as her replacement. Everybody is happy to get a new doc and sad Shimoya left. The episode ends with Komatsu having abdominal pain and falling to the floor.

making everyone nervous except Jin'an who is just focussed on his main squeeze. The power couple are constantly in a clutch but the kissing is pretty static.

Dawn Amidst Hidden Clouds Episode 1

Dawn Amidst Hidden Cloud begins with a suspenseful setup, supported by a talented cast and beautifully designed decors that show real production effort. Unfortunately, the episode soon introduces a cringe antagonist, and it becomes clear this is another revenge-driven story. The male lead channels full-on Vader-like brooding, while the female lead shows intelligence, but her playful energy occasionally comes across as overly childish. The cinematography is ambitious and visually appealing in moments, but the overall execution struggles to match the story’s tone. A promising premise that ultimately fails to land.

Finally cases I really likedI want to hear more about the high tech case... why did they laugh when the owners said he keeps it in his head and then told him they can help him? The pet / elderly case was also awesome, I am so glad to see a case like that And i would love to see some real estate disputesI think the only other cases I liked are the painting and the domestic abuse. The rest of the cases felt artificially pumpedand I love the proper productive adult version that makes stuff like "Weak Hero Class 1" look totally idiotic... I love this real and adult and PRODUCTIVE version where real and meaningful things can get settled in various alternate ways :) And I think the end of the preview shows their life experience difference - the way she asks him has that whiney youngster tone LOL But she proved she is worthy of him and on the same level - how she controlled him and guided him and got him th doggy was REMARKABLE She is a very very very competent woman, very wise and lovely. A great role model I also love how she got her mother to talk and how that went Her mom is amazing wit that cat

What can I say after the 1st episode...it may be a good series, but it will be subject to revision. But, ofcourse it goes to stupidity. How unimaginative the screenwriter and director are...He falls off the chair and the master is expected to catch him so he doesn't fall, that's what happens...but why are they looking at each other for a whole minute? Why so much drama in a horror series? Why do you attach so much importance to that scene, which is still in slow motion???She rubs his fingers for 5 minutes, then after 5 minutes he looks at his fingers, oh no, that's not how you do things!!!!!
