maya The first episode is literally AMAZING. I'm writing this review a few weeks after I finished Love in the clouds, because I CANNOT get over it. A literal masterpiece, can't believe it took me this long to start watching it. The first episode is amazing, like honestly I wouldn't have changed any single thing, everything about it was just perfect.

On the good side, the show has finally resolved the miscommunication trope betweenYan Xiaoqiu and Tang Ming. On the other hand, they are dragging and dragging out the 'noble idiocy' trope where Su Mang has sacrificed her relationship with Zheng Chu in order to not conflict with his parent's wishes and otherwise she is taking on way too much burden and starting to crumble under the weight of it all. And of course this opens the door for Fei Yi to try to worm his way into Su Mang's life in place of Zheng Chu, creating a feeble 'love triangle' where no one was needed. Sigh, it's all very disappointing of the writers.

The show writers are leaning heavily into the 'Noble Idiocy' drama trope now. Su Mang is basically breaking up with and reacting Zheng Chu, "for his own good" .... and of course this will cause all kinds of problems for both of them. Its such a stupid tired drama trope and I can only hope they won't drag it out too long.

quite nice. I loved how the fact that he might be "hallucinating "was a sign that was also seenin other previous soldiers that came before, but also that he did have a gaming addicition in his records. Which might alos on a psychological way explain why he sees these things in the way he does.

IrenaK I just want to applaud the King! 👏 Kim Jwa-Geun thought he had set such a marvelous trap, yet he was outsmarted by Cheoljong’s own well-planned trap! And he even managed to put everyone in their places, even the Grand Queen Dowager! It was so enjoyable to watch. The scene was perfect! 🤌 I was truly afraid for him while it was happening.I must add, I loved how So-Yong actually fought to get to the King. She was so worried and terrified that he might die. I wonder if he actually heard that confession about a future betrayal that the Queen whispered into his deaf ears? 🤔The reveal of the pressure the Kims put on her before her suicide attempt—and seeing them try it again—is just unacceptable! They all must be punished. As for the cousin, I still want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I don't know if he’s redeemable anymore. Hwajin is also getting worse, turning more into a villain with every episode! 😤😠But I can't help but wonder what will happen next after that beautiful night the Queen doesn't remember... 🤭😏

The old woman worked perfectly to push Lin Lusheng and Zhao Wumian closer. Working only with couples, eh? 😉🤭 Every word Lusheng says and everything she does just makes Wumian, the hedgehog, fall in awe of her more and more. His reaction to that little peck on his cheek, the unplanned hand-holding, and him forbidding anyone to touch her—all are signs that he's definitely the one! 🥰🤭But now they both must survive whatever the old lady did to them. 😨

Yeah, Lin Lusheng's turning this way and that in such a tight spot while being practically glued to Zhao Wumian definitely didn't help him keep his cool! He is starting to look at her differently. But I think he maybe started even before she gave all their money to that kid. 🤭

Why would they need Zhao Wumian exactly? Hmm, could there be some mystery regarding his character? 🤔That girl died so quickly! I wondered about the scene where she said she would trust them while putting her hand on top of all of theirs, but then suddenly, only she and Lin Lusheng were in the room. Were the four constables just an illusion? 🤷♀️

Can we just talk about how Pobmek asked for Jee’s support by saying, “Can you help me?” OMG, his ears turned so red 😭 You can really see how much he cares about Solar. And I love how all of them came together to help Solar too.
