This BL Drama hit the High Note with RL issues
This was a very well written drama. They had the perfect shipping with the leads. This touched on real life issues that we tend to overlook... the type of a**se that parents (whether biological or step) will put their child through because they are narrow minded with the world of love.
Also, the issues of workplace se**al harassment in the workplace from an upper management.
Everything portrayed here when it comes to the mental health & how much it takes to heal. How important it is to have a support that is unconditional in understanding & helping that person cope. Is so Precious & Priceless that it rarely found in the world. Especially when there are those who are definitely NOT PERFECT yet feel the right they can judge you for being different in ways that doesn't align with their beliefs.
Bravo to the writers of this drama, to the very talented casts that brought these characters to life.
Most of all Thank you to all the translators that work on this drama & the many others.
May you all stay Healthy, Happy & Above all

i loathe to part with this series
i loved me and thee so much. i've never giggled more while watching a series. i swear my face hurts from smiling !!!!!!i loved the characters, i loved the cast, i loved the story, i loved the vibes.
it's not perfect, of course. i found tawan and aran's plot to be slightly troubling in how easily it was resolved, but it wasn't enough to cause a dent in my viewing experience.
i love this series with my whole heart. i'd happily watch it a hundred more times and ill recommend it to everyone i meet !

This is a Critique People: MY OPINION?
Story wise this series had good plot, its a really good concept, i just think that because the plot is soo intertwined with the past i did find it bland at the beginning. i do understand they needed to introduce soo many characters while also maintaining that level of mystery.. its really good it just not one to grasp your attention right away, well to me.I really adore the actors and their acting and they did really well. I just think the editing style or the characters itself feels a little off or kinda blank idkđ¤ˇââď¸..I do love Yiranâs acting he does really well in expressing emotions through eyes. Bao Shang Enâs acting is more method i think(theres nothing wrong with method acting), donât get me wrong she i love her i just think theres room for improvement. idk thereâs just something off.
Editing style was not for međđ. Like i love how the series was explored through actions and events as i vaugely remember i donât think we ever heard inner thoughts which WAS A REALLY GOOD TAKE! BUTT!! the editing styleâŚ. idk i just have beef with the editor cus they had such good materials
Visuals was amazing thoughhhhh and literally pulled every kink i had( dont judge) cus blood never looked so bloody yet so good. The tension was really good too, I love that push and pull, like forbidden and longing. I love the fact that their fights and like reasons why they cant be together isnât about misunderstandings, like they understood each other so well but had such different goals literally had me in chokehold. the last few eps were everything, as much as we dont want toxicity irl its just so intriguing and captivating and literally i lived for it.
Hot take: I think they shouldâve let him live a few years and killed him off or kill him off a few months after. I just think a good ending doesnât have to marriage. I feel like it needed that bittersweet end.

So awful, weird, tropey and strange youâll be addicted
Hear me out. This thing starts with mushroom hallucinations (supposedly) and continues as if thats exactly what you feel like youâre on the entire show. Lol. The plot has more holes than a sieve and youâll wonder what the writers and directors were smoking. Its mostly so weird its hilarious, the OTS is all over the place and of you donât end up hating the FL for being selfish cow of the century, Iâll wonder if we watched the same show. But what ML killed it and this âfeels like a shortâ drama was a wild ride. Was this review helpful to you?

kinda dark tho
it was really a fun k-drama. but bro what did the director mind struck that he made the ji Hun past too dark? I mean I'm low-key traumatized after watching this. and the plot twists were so random but we'll written. I mean the director, script writer and screen writer were a good thing writing it. the ending was really confusing but loved how ji Hun sang the background track lol.if you love funny lawyer drama with weird plot twists? then watch it's suggested. (going to find so much more this type of k-dramas bye)

A Promising Beginning That Sets a High Standard
This series just keeps getting better and better with every episode. The storyline is incredibly well-crafted, and the way the narrative unfolds feels almost unbelievable in the best way possible. Every emotion is portrayed so beautifully and balanced so naturally that you can truly feel each moment.I especially love how they incorporate flashbacks while continuing the present storylineâitâs done so smoothly that it never feels confusing or forced. Instead, it adds so much depth to the characters and makes the story even more engaging.
The acting is absolutely outstanding. Both Perth and Santa are phenomenal actors. Their performances feel so real and powerfulâthey truly know how to convey emotions through even the smallest expressions. Thereâs truly something magical in their eyes; the way they express feelings without words is just captivating. It really shows how talented they are as actors. They donât just play the charactersâthey become them.
And their chemistry? Itâs honestly insane. The connection between them feels so natural and intense that it completely pulls you into the story.
Whatâs even more impressive is that, with just two episodes, the series has already set such a high standard. Everything feels so perfectly executedâfrom storyline to acting to emotional depthâand Iâm already completely hooked.
I seriously cannot wait for the next episode

A Whole Lot of Nothing
Reading the premise of show based on the synopsis I was intrigued enough to give this show a shot after a LONG dry spell of not watching mini dramas...I was very dissapointed with what it delivered.
We are promised a story intertwining her dreams with his 10 lifetimes but what we GET is a couple of dreams... (one of which never is shown to be averted and one of which isn't even shown with her having HAD the dream) and the MLs 10th lifetime in action. What happened during ANY of the other lifetimes we have no idea because that's not important, just this final 10th one is... Is the ML trying to solve a mystery with this timeloop? Who knows... he certainly doesn't seem to be too concerned with the fact he's on his "last life".
Later, when the plot goes in the forgone path you KNOW it will go eventually, the story just waves it's hand and tries to make up a rules for what is happening on the screen. These actions and rules do not follow and logic and instead become a matter of "we wrote it this way and it's happening so JUST GO WITH IT".
I couldn't turn my brain off far enough.
Basically... the story is messy and asks you to overlook a lot of silliness for a plot they are playing straight. The romance goes from zero to 100 in whiplash speed but hey... they start making out so why complain right? (The funniest part for ME was when they tried to justify the romance being at 100 by showing flashbacks to scenes where she was NOT feeling romantic towards the ML at all but they were in the same frame so that counts... right?
Score:
(Starting at a 5/10)
enjoyment -0.5
story -0.5
main leads 0
support 0
intimacy/chemistry .5
coherence/plotholes -0.5

strong beginning, annoying middle, okay end
the beginning was so strong, i wish they kept that same energy throughout. unfortunately, the romance got lost in the very unnecessary love triangle. by the time the couple finally got together and we finally focused on them living with the baby again, again, the romance took a back seat.final thoughts:
the whole show would be 100x better if they didnt do a love triangle. every other part of it was great and i wouldve loved to see more of the other characters and plot lines. i also wish there was more romance :/ especially given how mucb chemistry and tension that was built really well in the beginning. all in all, it was sweet and worth the watch (even though i wanted to bang my head in the middle).

Hard watch
I feel like this series would have been so much better if executed well. The pacing was off, the acting was eh, story was confusing (probably due to execution), and it's just so difficult to understand what's going on. There were times where the chemistry was def there, which is good, but the plot is just.. well.. there. And what I enjoy the most is an interesting plot that will keep me hooked, good chemistry, and something that makes me feel something. This.. did create a feeling--but it was disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this to new GL watchers as this may actually make them not watch any other Thai GLs. There are many great ones out there. Was this review helpful to you?
Love Faymay, but..
Okay. Sooo I know many won't agree with me, but this is just my opinion. Personally, I love romcoms. I love Thai GL romcoms and am always drawn to rewatching them (Love Design, GAP, etc.), but this one didn't really stick to me. It didn't like keep me as hooked as I thought it would (from reading reviews). The first few episodes were very repetitive and felt really dragged, so much so I felt like most of the episodes in high school and college were unnecessary. I just felt really bored and skipped to their life after college. But, compared to Faymay's last series, they have improved so much. Acting, chemistry, everything was way better. I also loved Looknam and Heng, they lowk carried the show for me. Hence, a high score for the acting and cast. I didn't really pay attention to the OST, and I prolly would not rewatch this series again. This is just my opinion though! So def try out this series to know what you enjoy, there are many genres out there! Was this review helpful to you?
Why is he still single? Welcome to adulting 101
Why Is He Still Single? 2026
Rating: 8.65
I will make this very short and sweet.
I hadnât seen Wallace Huo his 2015's "Love Me If You Dare", and honestly? The wait was absolutely worth it.,He still convinces you that he is not acting. And donât even get me started on Zhu Zhu, my brand-new favorite FL, no debate..She oozes such aura of grace and class.. (cute dimples alert)..hats off Dr Gu
It feels like weâve officially stepped into a new era of writing. No more living on a steady diet of fantasy romances and Cinderella tropes. This drama says, âWake up, weâre adulting now.â Relationships and marriage arenât social checklist items anymore, and the shift is right there in the writerâs notes. Itâs refreshing, itâs real, and it works.
And the OST, phewww someone said that the music director on spectrum with the background music..symphony opera add a classical makjang and Chinglish ballads..it was well curated.
It's no secret, I rarely skip a drama with a Shanghai backdrop. It's Art Deco and colonial architecture makes any drama feel like itâs breathing history and glamour at the same time.
It was the right location for this story, it adds instant atmosphere, turning every scene into something cinematic, stylish, and emotionally loaded. The old-world and the Bund's new skyscrapers are a perfect representation of the by-gone days and the new age of decisions.
With the production quality and the performances, this drama easily deserves an 8.6/10. It could have been an easy 8.8 because its short length really worked in its favor, but the side characters just didnât bring anything memorable to the table. The script was clearly ML-centered, and honestly, Iâm not mad about it because his storyline (and his acting) carried the whole drama beautifully.

"I can't jump! I'm not Tony Jaa!"
If you are looking for a tight, nail-biting action film with strong acting, Striking Rescue ainât it. If you are in the mood to see Tony Jaa cut loose with fierce elbows and knees on his opponents like he hasnât done in recent historyâŚthis is it. My rating is comparing this film against other Jaa films.Bai An is on a vengeful rampage after his wife and daughter are gunned down in front of him. Believing the perpetrator to be his wifeâs boss, Chairman He Ying Hao, Bai An leaves no stone unturned and no body unbroken in his hunt for He. Lying in wait for He and his caravan travelling through the jungle, Bai An is surprised to find Heâs crew attacked and He taken prisoner. In a strange trick of fate, Bai An ends up saving Heâs daughter, Ting. The two join forces to find He with nearly everyone in town hunting the pair including Tingâs dutiful bodyguard, Wu Zheng.
The story was a flat framework used to hold up the fights. There were a half-dozen bad guys with their own crews of machete carrying minions that queued up for Bai An to pummel his way through. Despite his hatred of He, he risked his life repeatedly to keep Ting unharmed. Chen Duo Yi made the most of her damsel in distress role. Wu Zheng ended up being a nice fight buddy as the two reluctantly helped each other out. Two of the villains were wildly over the top which didnât enhance the story. Shi Yan Neng played a villain he could do in his sleep at this point.
Now for a reason to watch this film. Tony Jaa at nearly 50 years old was amazing. I had to look up the fight choreographer and discovered it was Guo Yu Long. Iâm not familiar with his work and it doesnât look like heâs worked on many films, but he certainly knew how to showcase Tonyâs talents. One of the best things about Tonyâs fights was that he didnât do a lot of rapid-fire punches that seemed pointless, unless it was the main villain. He aimed for the weak spots-elbows, shoulders, knees, and neck, which down an opponent immediately. Tony may be small but heâs mighty and a thing of frightening beauty to behold.
Striking Rescue may not have provided anything new in an action story and did run long, but it was good to see Tony in fine form again. Iâve missed his vicious knees and elbows. Donât stay away so long, âkay? Rated on a Jaa curve. If you are a Tony fan, youâll think itâs Jaa-some. If not, probably Jaa-ful.

Trigger warnings: A few grisly fight scenes and a short operation scene. Child murder.

A real gem and absolute masterpiece!!
First of all, I've never thought that I'd feel so bad cause I haven't discovered such a k-drama sooner, plus that i've never been an historical k-drama fan, but this is beyond the good i had expected! I knew the actress but I think i didn't know her enough to watch her portray "Gil Chae" in such an outstanding way, and about Namkoong Min? i was chocked, I was blown away 'cause there was no way it was just an acting, I remember me saying during the first 4 episodes "Ahhh! so that's ACTING!"the cast was just perfect, it felt like watching a real life movie where every character means something to us, and yes! i still remember their name, because what do you mean forgetting "gak hwa" and "Ryang eum" ? without them there would not be any extra fire and plots...
I've watched this k-drama more than four times and everytime i rewatch it i discover something, A new OST i didn't catch while focusing on the acting, Or the haunting cinematography i couldn't enjoy while savouring every melody of its OSTs, and the one underrated original soundtrack is called With My Heart (ë¤ë§ ë§ěěźëĄë§) .
the chemistry speaks to me everytime, i can't imagine ahn eunjin now acting with some other male actor because of her chemistry with namkoon min, and if that means something it means how good they looked together and how great their acting was! I loved the outfits as well, i loved how professional and perfectionist the acting was that they paid attention to the pschological state of gil chae in the second season and how she clearly lost weight to portray the traumatised went through a lot gil chae, and that was just so professional, the characters personalities were perfectly chosen, gak hwa which is the qing princess vs gil chae the nungunri noblewoman, jang hyun the mysterious who appears in her village oneday, they were studied well, the misogamist who still wants to win gilchae who believe marriage as a part of their traditions, dignity and nobleness, these contradictions created that chemistery, that hesitation, that longing and yearning, which made the drama even more powerful, this k-drama made me cry, i have to confess that i had stopped watching it especially during the episode 12 because it felt too hard, but after only two days i continued and instantly regretted stopping it, i've watched it twice at the same year, listened to its osts everyday, had its posters on my laptop, and sang its covers, but the most important part? the quote... the magical quote! the iconic confession! i would have rated it 11 if i could, but that's because i wished we had an even clearer ending, even more chemistry and time together, even more fight scenes... and still, my dearest k-drama will always be my dearest!!

Why is this drama so UNDERRATED?
This film made me laugh, cry, feel pure joy, and even experience heartbreak, leaving me just as emotionally invested as the characters themselves. To give an honest feedback, this is a magnificent drama that is absolutely worth watching. It is a production of high investment, with the main cast comprised of actors with experiences, and good visual. The script and plot are equally well-crafted, weaving a sprawling narrative that takes you on a journey through every conceivable emotional nuance. The music is another standout element. I found myself listening to it on repeat, as it beautifully captures and reflects the inner sentiments of the characters within the story. I think the only reason why it being underrated is because the lack of âromanceâ element which makes it seem like a bromance. Personally, I canât never see it as a bromance. The main characters didnât kiss, hug, or said I love you. However, Ruan Lan Zhu would said things like âI will protect you for life, even if itâs your life, or my life.â And Ling Qiu Shi would said âI just want you to live, I want us to be together.â The love language is different, and the chemistry is fire. Even though without the romance element, I still think that it is a worth watching series because of the plot, acting, and music. On the bl perspective, the love language of this drama is quite unique, and using a lot of metaphor, not straightforward and intense which make you even more lingering after watching. The ending is quite unique too. Lastly, this is a very worth to watch bl if you love action and horror genre of film, and if you want something different and unique! Was this review helpful to you?

A warm hug after a really long and difficult day
For real, where do i begin? This kdrama feels like a warm hug after a really long and difficult day.The development of the relationship between the main couple was organic without seeming forced, and it definitely took the necessary time to build, considering the male protagonist's past with his first love. They understand each other without using words. The story is complex, but very well constructed.
It's a journey of self-discovery and healing. Sometimes the past weighs heavily, but we never know what the future holds.
Great acting and the cast? Incredible!
Loved it so much.
