????here comes one of the great historic drama of 2026***
I just finished *Pursuit of Jade*… and honestly, The storyline might sound familiar at first, but the way it’s been brought to life is so beautifully done that you won’t feel bored even for a second ✨I’m completely obsessed with the Marquis of Wuan and his wifuuuu 😭✨ This drama really did something to me that I haven’t felt in such a long time while watching this drama. I went in with decent expectations, but WOW—it completely exceeded everything I imagined.
First of all, the visuals… just WOW 😍 every frame felt so rich and beautiful. And Zhang Linghe?? I’m even more obsessed with him now 🫠🔥 Changyu absolutely nailed her role too she was powerful, graceful, and unforgettable. And can we talk about the fight scenes?! OMG they were sooo well done ⚔️💥 I genuinely couldn’t find a single flaw.
Every arc in this drama had its own magic. The village arc? So beautiful, I’m still in awe 🌸 The battle era was intense and powerful ❤️🔥 And the Marquis of Wuan & General Fan era?? I’m in LOVE. Each phase of the story pulled me in deeper, and not once did I feel bored.
Even the villains were amazing 👏 Every character felt meaningful, and I loved them all in their own way. It truly felt like such a beautiful journey from beginning to end… waiting for new episodes every day, feeling all the emotions 🥺📺 And now that it’s over, I honestly can’t believe it’s done.
The Marquis of Wuan is now officially on my list of top favorite generals 💯 and Changyu is hands down one of the BEST female generals ever 💪🔥
I’ve watched so many historical C-dramas, but only a few leave this kind of impact on me—like "The Double", "Story of Kunning Palace", and "Prisoner of Beauty"… and now THIS 🥹✨
💖 This is definitely going to stay in my heart for a long, long time.

In this life, the next life, for all lifetimes, the two of us will always be entwined.
What a ride. I read some comments about people being frustrated by this drama and I understand because sometimes you have expectations and loving something from the very beginning doesn’t mean it will continue to deliver the same level of quality later or what you expected to see. But to me, even with some flaws, the drama continued to be SO addicting and I spent all day anxiously waiting for more and more episodes. Let me talk about the things I liked the most. One of the positive things about this drama is that the cinematography is beautiful and the director knows what he’s doing. If you watched “Blossom” you already know he’s good but he continuted to be good here as well and I’m already excited to watch another work from him! He knows especially how to create tension and how to use the scenario around (and the weather) to give us pleasantly and aesthetically scenes.
Another positive thing is the actors performances, the characters and chemistry between them. Tian Xiwei is a REALLY good actress. She has this beautiful and cute face but still can act as a tough girl and we can actually believe that she’s strong. Her acting is SO natural that it doesn’t feel like acting at all. She can give us cute scenes, badass scenes, emotional scenes….her character gets a lot of screentime in the drama as the story is basically female centric and she did her job amazingly. Chang Yu, her role, is a type of character that you’ll love automatically and it will for sure be always remembered when we talk about strong female lead characters!
Zhang Ling He was also good too! I know he’s an actor that divides opinions but if you’re one of these people who is not a fan of him I really think you must watch this one and give him a chance. First, this is definitely the drama he’s the most handsome like it’s insane. Second, his performance is spot on! He delivered exactly what the scenes required, and I felt that his acting here was relaxed and natural. Xie Zheng, his role, isn’t perfect and I believe the character should’ve be more developed but he was so charming! And one thing that I loved about him is that he always let Chang Yu shine. He was on her side but never putting his believes or overshadowing her. He saw her as his equal.
Dengkai was also really good as a villain, really good acting! Never watched anything with him but he got my attention. Qimin, his role, is a completely lunatic character but with an interesting story. Mu Ran as Yuan Qing was also a good villain, although a little stupid. I loved Qian Qian! She’s so strong minded and never let herself fall in Qimin’s control. Ning, Changyu’s little sister, was so cute. Her scenes with Bao Er was really cute too. The pig butcher squad was also charming and funny!
And what about the romance? Well, for me it was chief kiss. The chemistry between Chang Yu and Xie Zheng was amazing, I screamed a lot in all their scenes. Besides Bai Lu, I think Xiwei was the best chemistry Linghe had. And the same with Xiwei, Linghe was one of her best chemistry. Really wish to see both in another work together. Qimin and Qian Qian aren’t a couple that we can freely shipp as their story is totally toxic and abusive but we can’t deny the actor’s chemistry. I wish we didn’t had that much of scenes of them tho cuz why give them screentime when the “love” is completely one-sided? #FREEQIANQIAN
OST wasn’t mind blowing but I think we got at least 3 really good songs! The main story wasn’t also mind blowing and tbh it’s a little confusing but we understand better as things unfold and I think it was good enough to make me feel interested.
The ending was satisfactory! I pity the emperor, he made me realize that not everyone is prepared to be a emperor. I almost pityed Qimin in the end too but then I remembered how sick he was towards Qian Qian lol and the post credit scene was kind cute! A good fanservice for us.
Now…I enjoyed most things but I still got some complaints. First, we could feel that things was happening a little too fast after episode 30 and although everything worked out in the end, the pacing was a little damaged. To give a better pacing I think maybe a PART2 was needed or they should’ve cut some side characters unnecessary screentime and scenes. Also, I haven't read the novel, but I believe we could’ve seen more scenes of Xie Zheng battling. He’s a strong and feared Marques and we only saw him that way towards the end. He still shined in the drama, we can’t say he didn’t, but it’s a point that it could’ve been better.
Some complained about Qimin and Qian Qian having better romantic scenes than Chang Yu and Xie Zheng but I think it’s a matter of perspective and preferences and personally I liked the main leads scenes. They had beautiful and artistic scenes while Qimin and Qian Qian had more sensual and aesthetic scenes. I do think they nerfed a bit some kissing scenes between Chang Yu and Xie Zheng because we saw the leaks and we know what they can do lol And they did this while giving focus to Qimin and Qian Qian kissing scenes when the couple isn’t even shippable like… definitely a questionable choice but yeah.
In general, Persuit of Jade is a drama that I anxiously waited since last year and although it wasn’t a perfect ride, I can’t say that the wait wasn’t worthy! I fell in love with the actors, the cinematography, the direction, the main couple and I enjoyed the story and characters! It’s a type of drama that I believe that even with some flaws here and there, it still deserves the attention and love.

Pursuit of Jade – Worth the Wait
I read the novel before watching this, so I was not patient at all waiting for the drama—and honestly, it was 100% worth it.What I really liked is how they handled Fan Changyu. She’s strong, but not perfect. She’s emotional, sometimes reckless, still learning—and that’s what makes her journey so satisfying to watch. You actually see her grow into the person she becomes.
Xie Zheng is the complete opposite in a way. He’s already established, calm, and strategic. He doesn’t need constant big battle scenes to prove himself—you just know what he’s capable of. His strength is in his presence and decisions.
Their relationship is one of the best parts. It doesn’t feel rushed or forced. It builds slowly—from survival, to trust, to something much deeper. It feels real.
And the side characters actually matter here. The little sister, the soldiers, even the villains—everyone adds something. The villains especially are interesting because they’re not just evil for no reason.
As a novel reader, I was honestly a bit nervous, but they really delivered. It stayed true to the core story while still working well as a drama. For me, this is a perfect 10/10. It kept me hooked, made me care about the characters, and lived up to all the expectations I had going in.
Definitely worth the wait.

A Decent yet Bumpy Ride in the Carriage of Grandeur Harem
Okay, guys. So, I wasn’t expecting myself to jump on the bandwagon of mini dramas just because I was facing an incessant humdrum through the last days of my holiday. Yet, my memory traced back to when this mini drama aired. Given my awful experience with mini dramas, I didn’t think it would be much of a harm to glimpse into it for a while. So here we go…“The Hidden Heir Ye Chen” revolves around our main character Ye Chen, who’s secretly a wealthy heir, despite his seemingly common background. In the past, he had faced a lot of humiliations from every people who looked down on him. To his amazement, he is forced by the Xiao family to marry Xiao Churan, and still has to endure their scorn remarks. Long story short, he devises plans to get on the back of those who ridicule him and protect his wife and in-laws.
To be honest, there’s nothing to be written about the plot. Everything feels generic and cliché that even I can guess how the story turns out in blindfold. I understand this is a mini drama, which means that it can’t be as wishy-washy as regular dramas (you need to get to the straight point instead of wasting time blabbing nonsense) and it’s one of the qualities I appreciate very much, although it may deprive the drama of a more meaningful existence. One more thing, I think that he is being flanked by a lot of girls falling head over heels for him, creating a resplendent harem in the process. The ending is kinda unexpected and I don’t really care who the Wu family is – I just need to finish the drama early.
This is my second time watching Ren Hao in a row and I still can’t move on from Li Huai’an in “Pursuit of Jade”. He’s actually quite nice as Ye Chen and embodies the aura of a young master seamlessly yet carries a baggage of emotions due to his dark past. The girls are… meh, if you ask me. Out of the four, I only recognize Daisy Li (from her profile in other dramas), and her acting is subpar compared to her co-star (I mean Ren Hao). The others are not that great as well, especially that whiny Xiao Weiwei and her underhanded “partner-in-crime” Qin Aodong. I keep rolling my eyes when it comes to them, not to mention the sly old vixen Granny Xiao.
OSTs are meh as well, but I still appreciate for the singers’ efforts tho. Costumes, backgrounds, settings are limited to a certain range of scope, so I can’t complain much about that.
Overall, I don’t think I’m going to rewatch it any soon, but if you’re looking for something light-hearted to pass your time, then this mini drama might be suitable for you. Okay, guess I’m going to end the review now. Good luck and happy watching!!!
Disclaimer: The rating 7.2 might be misleading for some people and my 10 is misleading as well, because I just feel sorry for the drama TT.

The Green Flag
I am watching bls since 2020 and I have seen all shades of Green but DUANG just hits different like the man he is. I know its all fictional but DUANG is such Green forest like he waited for QIN and most important he knows everything about QIN by just noticing it .The Actor:- Teetee and Por are so talented like Por portrayed QIN's character so nicely like I cannot believe that he played PUNLEE IN YOUR SKY.
No one in the whole bl world can play DUANG better than Teetee he is so talented
HOPE TO SEE MANY MORE SERIES OF TEETEE AND POR IN FUTURE
LOVE TEETEEPOR ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Weak start, getting better with every episode...
While we are flooded with short KBL mini-series, this is a serious TV production. And it shows. The main actors are already established and even the best friend is a character we have seen in other series as supporting role.I like scifi and time travel always but I would lie if I would say the script does not have it's flaws. Sadly it has. Especially the color-blindness was not explained at all. Especially WHEN does he have it, is it just an after-effect due to his time travelling or did he had it all the time or did it develop gradually. It has such a prominent role in the story that I don't know WHY it was there. So it irks me still, why it wasn't explained at all. Also the fight between Woojin and his best friend was overly fast resolved without the proper appology. Teajun had the vibe of jealousy which was not done right. It gave me first the impression he is also interested in Woojin in a romantic way but that was just a fleeting moment and imho not necessary.
The cinematography was top notch giving the past and the "now" a different vibe - which it should. Also they did an amazing OST. The only gripe is the overly blurness of their first kiss in the beginning, this was a bit over the top. I disagree with some reviews here saying the did not have chemistry, I think they did. The glances and micro expressions did it for me, without the face to face aural confessions we are so used to. They don't need words to convey their feelings. In the finale Woojin said his smile had a sadness to it and yes, that's what was intended. This was a much more mature storyline compared to most school/university BLs we get to see nowadays which I appreciated.
Regardless of the flaws of the script, I enjoyed the series. It took almost a year after "Ball Boy Tactics" to get a proper KBL on the screen and I appreciated it. So while not perfect, it's worth the watch.

Reviews are little off, but if you love heart clenching stuffs, you might like it.
So, I initially watched it for Arthur chen. I knew from the trailer that it would be very much like L&P, but I still gave it a try. The story was well paced, even though the break up and getting along after a long time was dragged. I actually love the plot breaking up and getting back together after a long time longing for each other. To be honest, this was mid in the plot.Acting was superb and chemistry was also good. If you are like me who loves this kind of plot, you may love it.( I am very new to writing reviews, so please excuse my mistakes )

The Best Drama of 2026 - Pursuit of Jade
This drama features some of the finest cinematography I’ve seen. From the compelling plot and the chemistry between the leads to the subtle details in the side characters and the emotional bonds they share. Everything feels thoughtfully crafted. It powerfully portrays the brutal reality of war from the perspective of ordinary people, while also delivering an incredible journey of growth for the main characters. I felt like i was living in Great Yin....Every aspect of this drama is truly masterful. If you’re hesitating, just give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Watching it over the past month while it aired has been an unforgettable experience.
TRULY ONE OF THE BEST DRAMA.......

It's so slow burn
I know J bls are meant to be slow burn romance and all but maybe it's just me because this was a bit boring. I literally forced myself to finish it because I didn't want to drop it. I felt so pissed at some point because they were literally so awkward and at some point their actions were too exaggerated. I also felt a bit confused about the younger brother who could also be annoying at times. this is my personal opinion but in all I would never watch something like this again. I could barely even feel the so called 'love' between them if not that they kissed once I wouldn't have regarded this as a bl.Was this review helpful to you?

Their Magic Together
I missed them. The ease and flow between them is unmistakable. Like a warm blanket late at night, I held them close. Their previous work proved why I showed up every week to see them. Beautiful actors who can take me on a journey and leave me satisfied. I will miss them again as this is complete.I was missing the old style where stories are told and acted well. Their immediate bond stood true again. Their eyes meet and all I want is just them, on a bike, smiling going anywhere. Their story unique to them. Not a simple one, but cute, funny and interesting to the end. Their kisses as it should be. Appearing at the right time without much preamble. I am happy they chose to give us another project together.
Ji Han's woeful eyes and Jeong You steady stare enrich stories without having to say anything more.
The things that I would change are the fillers. Too many. More plot, more activity needed. U Jin's last run around the bend when the car strikes goes unexplained. The ending too slow and drawn out.
Saying that and still wanting more seems contrary. It's just their magic together makes it all worthwhile. This was a nice nod back to the olden days when the characters were interesting, the acting good and the story left you with a warm feeling at the end.
Just like A Breeze of Love, I will watch this again.

Sweet romance drama with confusing storyline
Don’t get me wrong! I do love this drama a lot but objectively the storyline is quite confusing and all over the place. From the get go, you get bits and pieces of the political feuds internally, and hints about the 17 year old massacre cold case but yet they don’t provide enough context. I thought the hairpin given by FL’s mum would be some key to the past since it was so cherished. But nope, nothing of that sort, it was just a pin lol.The weird political struggle between Li and Wei was confusing enough then comes in lord changxin, Sui brothers and then another Qi Min. It felt like they’re trying to inject some complicated yet lame political feud but didn’t have time to talk about it till the last few episodes where it was revealed that this whole drama stemmed from some lame comments prime minister wei said many years back. Then it led to a series of events thereafter.
BUT with the confusing political feuds aside, if you’re all about the fluffy sweet romance with main leads never changing their minds & hearts towards each other, no lame 3rd parties nor annoying misunderstandings, THIS is the drama to watch!
Also, the director probably love the main leads a lot. TXW is so cute and pretty inside and needless to say, this drama is probably the one that ZLH looks the best in, no dead angles all great angles. Such a treat to watch but I do wished we have gotten more action and fighting scenes from him since he’s supposed to be a marquis and great at fighting.
OST is good, costumes are great as well. You also get to see some redeeming points of supposedly villains like granny kang who sacrificed herself to save the FL’s sister and grandson during the massacre, Qi Min who sacrificed himself to save YQQ (however toxic he might have been) etc.

Aesthetically pleased but at the same time, Im appalled.
The series was great. They casting was perfect, the actors did a great job. In theory, this was a 10/10 watch except the story decided to add an element that they were never planning on addressing.Yes, the AI part of the series didn't make much sense to me. You're telling me, Jira, who rejected a job because the company prefered to use AI ended up with a guy who basically stole his paintings to train his AI which he then proceeds to sell and earns profits. Make it make sense?
Koh never had an eye for art, much less for Jira’s. He didn't care about Jira’s painting he only cared about what his paintings provided him.
A cure for his insomnia and a means to train his AI. Koh was preety transparent about the fact that he didn't give a fuck, yet Jira ends up choosing him in the end.
I don't understand why jira decided to even “break-up” over the whole AI issue when it's clear this didn't matter to him at all.
Yes, if it wasn't koh who made the AI, someone else would've. All this would've still affected jira as an artist however I don't think that's the point. The point is the personal connection koh and jira had that koh decided to sabotage for his own gains.
Jira quite literally under-reacts when he finds out the truth. I absolutely hated that bit. The revelation was devasting to watch, I can't believe they gave us a room temperature reaction. Nobody seemed to care about the fact that AI taking over art is a big issue. Why undertake this theme if you had absolutely no intention of giving it a suitable conclusion?
The series would've been better off without a “happy ending” and it would've been even better without the whole AI concept.

This is the coziest series ever
This series is the coziest series I've ever watched. I'm convinced anyone would like this, no matter what animal you like.FirstKhaotung have amazing chemistry as usual, but I loved Khaotung's chemistry with Je Meow as well, their relarionship was truly heart warming.
I do want to mention that some smaller things in this series feels like it was taken out of deportion, but the series didn't feel like it lost its meaning cause it still had genuinly meaningful parts as well.
I believe that this one came out at the perfect time, right when we needed more sun came this series with its sunshine.
