This is probably the best drama I have ever watched…in its own genre. Yes, I don’t think I can label this drama at all. I mean, everything about it is random and you can totally watch everything.

The randomness starts at the episodes’ structure. The way the story is told? Random (well, sometimes it DOES make sense). The characters’ personalities? Random. Or that’s what you would think because every single one of them as a story behind, and guess what, you can buy all the explanations to the weirdness. But still, you totally get hooked to this.

Of course the main reason to watch this is comedy. Pure crack. But you want some lessons on Japanese culture and the origin of some Japanese words? Yes, you can have it here. You want some lovey-dovey scenes, you want some sweet scenes, you want some introspection scenes, you want some friendship scenes? Yes, of course. Or maybe you feel like watching one of those old black and white silent movies, yes, you have that here too.

Really, you have to give this a try. Oh, and I have to say I loved the costumes and how they did it, I mean, I couldn’t help but find Hoshi really handsome.

what I have to say?? I really enjoy watching period drama and in this story there is the addition of fantasy and also adds mythical elements. I don't know why but I wasn't interested in the beginning. It didn't seem to me a remarkable story, only later I realized that I was beginning to like it. I hoped in more scenes of affection. I prefer romantic stories even so I was impressed by scenes of war, so I can't say that the romance is the central theme (who is looking for a love story in the past I suggest trying another drama). The music is not less than the story (composed by Joe Hisaishi) and some actors were really good in acting.
P.S. Sorry if there are errors, I'm not very good in English =)

A lot of people who loved the original anime and manga really do not like this drama. That's completely understandable because you are taking fictional characters and asking actors to portray them in a realistic way. For me though who both loved the anime and manga i also LOVED this Live action adaptation. Yamamoto Yusuke was born to play Tamaki. The actors all brought the 2-D characters to life. I could not pull myself away from a single episode and was so sad when i heard they were cutting it short to 11 episodes. Less then half of original manga is portrayed in the drama because of the amount of episodes and also the length of episodes. Despite that, this was still an amazing show. It's the kind of show that makes you smile from beginning to end. I will continue to rewatched this drama multiples.

This drama was excellent! Apart from the overall amazing story it's the acting that was just unbelievably good. Both leads played theirs parts so perfectly it made the story so believable that you would actually forget they were acting. The music was also very good. I haven't yet but i plan to watch this drama again very soon and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great drama and a lot of laughs!

I really liked this drama at the start, but it really did not need to be 20 episodes long. It dragged out the same story WAY too much. The story-line was really refreshing and different and contained some twists. The acting was also very good. Overall it was a good drama. It seems its only real downfall is that the same story was dragged out as far as it could and became boring.

When I began watching this drama I was so close to ending it in the first episode. It seemed completely overacted and the story very typical but before I knew it i was sitting there with a box of kleenex crying my eyes out with these characters. This was a very good drama. And the actors are all extremely good looking so that helps a lot. The story wasn't the most original but I feel they really did amazing with what they had. I would definitely recommend this drama.

Let me start off by saying, anyone who completely dislikes this drama has full and complete rights. It's definitely a hit-or-miss. It is completely over-acted and stereotypical in every way possible but this is ALSO why we love it so much. Its like the Godfather of k-drama. The story line is so amazing because every episode has different problems then the previous. The music is done by some of the most famous names in Kpop. The acting is very dramatic. The filming sets are amazing, the producers definitely spared no expense for this drama. Out of all the different versions of Boys over Flowers this is definitely my favourite.

I'm not a big fan of Jang Geun Suk at all but I really enjoyed this drama. I hadn't heard anything about it so I just gave it a try and LOVED IT. the story was actually pretty interesting. it sounds like your typical "poor girl running from debt collectors that her father has brought upon her when she meets a gorgeous young chaebol son"... except it has a big twist that sets it apart from the stereotypical drama. I really enjoyed it. AWESOME music. great acting.. okay i think i need to watch this drama again like RIGHT NOW.

Sunshine Angel is a romantic story which follows the life of a young rich boy who unexpectedly falls in love with someone he wouldn't even bother to give a secound look to normally.. This story, Starring Rainie Yang and Farenheit's Wu Chun as the lead roles takes on the every day issues about the man who has it all, Unexpectedly then to lose everything previously valued to him before he met the girl of his dreams. I'll leave this review spoilerless..

Di Ya Xin is a young male who has it all.. He was born into a wealthy family and has friends and is the general director of a company of his own left behind after his parents death. Everything seems to go well for him, Until he takes a trip to Japan while skydiving. Falling towards the ground with a parachute who seems to be broken, Only to be saved by falling into the small bathroom of a young girl named Yokou (Yang Guang). Yokou is a girl with a far different background. Her parents are professional scammers who take money from people and usually leaves her behind to deal with the issues of cleaning up after them. Some people's finally had it with her parents behavior and demands for her to pay them back all the money her parents stole from them. With no chance of paying back they employ her with a job in Taiwan as a Maid of a young man.. This man, The same man who broke her bathroom. As Di Ya Xin slowly falls in love with Yang Guang and decides to give her his all, There are someone in his company who are trying to take all that he truly owns and cherish away from him. As the story develops you'll see Love, Drama, Proverty.. Along with lots of unexpected twists not expected.

The drama has a really good soundtrack, I Love nearly each and every song in the ost.. The songs are placed into the right scenes so I can't complain of the timing.

I'd really recommend this story to everyone, The story won't progress quite as expected. But I won't lie to you guys.. Despite of loving the main characters acting inside of this drama, It left me with a huge 2nd lead syndrome for Zhang Junning.. (Geng Fei)

To prevent myself on going on a nick-picking tirade, let's start with the movie's strengths. So, obviously, read the whole review.

I haven't seen the anime, so I watched this movie as new to the story as possible. Hell, I didn't even read the synopsis (well, the synopsis I read only involved robot nipples).

With the thought of robot nipples in your mind (think it, think it ... now mentally slap Dr. Evil's robot-chicks in their jealous faces), this show isn't one for those who flip nearby tables when something as suggestive as a nipple appears on screen. This movie isn't vulgar, but has a few suggestive (and might I say hilarious) scenes. I sure wish there was more crude jokes though...

This movie is a visual spectacular. Like I said earlier, I haven't seen the anime, but the movie was colorful, detailed, and full of neat little quirks and jokes. The robots were awesome, the fight scenes were a cartoony whirlwind of awesome, and the props made me feel like an anime superhero would pop up at any moment and proudly brandish his tights-covered genitals at my face. Bravo Mr. Miike (as well as the special effects team, they were the stars of the movie). Give these guys medals and all the hookers they will ever want!

And, to keep it brief, the music had a macho "FIGHT!" feel without attracting the men of wrestlemania to grace the screen.

Now, my beef with this movie is that it's "Johnny's-ized." Okay, that's a weird way of putting it. I can forgive the somewhat 2D characters (because kid show characters don't have life-changing epiphanies every week), but the plot was lacking. I'm not asking for Inception, but it wasn't as interesting, or funny, as I thought it would be. And for an idea on what childish things I love to watch for hours on end, I can watch the first three seasons of Spongebob like Lindsey Lohan can snort through crack and the remnants of her career.

The plot was more like "shit's happening at place X -> Goes to place X -> Fight scene -> ?????? -> PROFIT!" This kind of simplicity, even for a kid's movie with the aforementioned robot nipples, leaves some to be desired. The reason I mentioned "Johnny's-ized" earlier was because of the main lead, the always-adorable Sakurai Sho. While the others in the cast did a great job (Katsuhisa Namase did an AMAZING job; he's the best one on the screen)

In short, while this movie's plot isn't the most interesting thing since Sho-kun's Anan spread with numerous butt-pictures (Why would I know this!?!), it's is definitely a fun movie to watch as delicious, sensory junk food for the brain. If it is movie night and your two choices are "legendary movie that many people adore for its mind-blowing awesomeness" and "Yatterman," go with the former. However, if you just have ~2 hours to kill and you want to see some cartoon-like splendor, then give Yatterman a shot.

I can not believe that I almost didn't watch this series. To be honest, the cover image threw me off. However, I was in for a BIG surprise.

The story and plot was wonderful! It was funny, sad, romantic, and breathtaking. I was an emotional roller coaster throughout the entire series. You're Beautiful put a very complex story into 16 heart tugging episodes and stole my heart. As a viewer you will be completely absorbed by the friendship and unrequited love between a Nun in training and a boy band.

The actors were AMAZING! Sometimes I forgot they were acting. This drama has none of the fake crying scenes when the actress just makes the face but no tears. No! In this drama tears will pour like rain, anger will burn like fire and the romance will make your own heart beat faster. I really love ALL of the actors in this drama. There was not one single weak character.

The music on this drama is so great that I downloaded them and is determined to learn the lyrics although I don't speak Korean. Lovely Day and Without Words are two of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard on any drama. So convenient that I watched this close to Valentines Day. When they sing the songs during the song I felt like I wanted to buy tickets to their next concert! The VOICE was there! The EXPRESSION was there! The MEANING melted my heart. I love it!

Rewatch value? Lol well I'm ready to watch it again already! This is favorite worthy. I don't even know what else to say Lol

Overall my review may seem long and over dramatic, but I don't comment on every drama I watch. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO WATCH THIS DRAMA!!

I just finished watching this drama and what I feel right now is "Well, another good drama is over and now I have to be back in my real life." I really did enjoy watching this drama.
The drama succeed in creating its story. Each character has her or his own story and together they help each other getting over hard time in their life and get better. However, i feel like some problem in the drama haven't been solved in the end or did they do that on purpose. I love all the sound tracks in this drama. Overall, it is worth watching and if you like Dream High, High School Musical and Step Up, then you'll enjoy this drama.

This was a really great drama! The characters are interesting and they develop pretty well. One thing with this drama is that it slows down a little in the middle( episode 4-6) but if you hang in there and watch it through, it gets really good.
I will say one thing though, I wasn't that impressed with the ending, it kind of made me feel like there should have something more or that they were trying to rush it.
In the end, it is still one of my favorite dramas. I still have most of the songs stuck in my head.

Densha Otoko is definitely one of the best dramas I’ve watched, not about the super rich boy who falls for the poor girl, but about an otaku that falls for a refined lady. I have not watched the anime nor the movie that was aired first so I can’t make any comparisons.

But for the drama I can say that the actors were really well picked. Itoh Atsushi was definitely my favorite character and he really portrayed it well, the normal otaku one would imagine. But what I liked the most about Yamada was the way he felt towards Hermes and how he expressed it. From the first time they met and especially when he had to reveal his true self. I just found it so cute.

Itoh Misaki was also great. At first I thought she was a bit stiff, but I guess that’s how the character is supposed to be and she kind of started to grew on me, since they actually made a really cute couple.

And, of course, all the user of the internet thread made the story a lot more interesting, I just loved their conversations, their unique ways to react and their sometimes laughable sometimes useful advice that went accordingly to their internet characters. There were times when I couldn’t stop laughing.

Definitely a must watch. : D

It started off quite promising for me. But the second half of the drama annoyed me so much that I almost quit watching. What I do really like about this drama is the soundtrack. They have really nice songs that I would listen to over and over again but sadly the drama was a huge letdown. As for the acting, it's just okay.
Two good things that I discovered from this drama: OST and Kang Ji Hwan :)
