Don Quixote was really enjoyable. Story line was great, it was laugh a minute and Matsuda was a dream to watch.

I wasn't familiar with the traditional story of Don Quixote, but that wasn't necessary because this drama really didn't stick to the traditional story. What the drama took from the Spanish story was a theme of "unconventional chivalry" and really played it up.

Assuming that you read the synopsis, this story is a Secret Garden type of switch but without the romance. (if you didn't see the Kdrama Secret Garden -you need to- but think Freaky Friday). Yes there is essentially no romance in this drama but you really don't miss it. The main characters are like fish out of water and it makes it hilarious to watch.

The two main characters are played excellently by the already awesome Matsuda and Katsumi Takahasi. I loved seeing Matsuda smile and be really dorky then witch to being all Yakuza, if you are a fan of his then there is no reason not to watch. Katsumi was really good to playing a totally dweeb young man , he made it believable.

All in all, this a undeniably great drama. It sucks you in, has great topics and situations and by the end you feel as if you too have gained 2 friends. Even if you see the end coming in this drama, the characters are so likeable that you want them to do their best. All the episodes are good and there is no need to fast forward, and i normally need to fast forward. If you feel like getting away from all of the plotting and scheming that some of the other dramas have, this is a good refreshing one. Watch it. Like now.

This movie was absolutely amazing! I am really surprised why no one has reviewed this film yet. This movie had many different elements to it and also very good actors. It had many surprise twists and left me on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good movie with a surprising ending!

So I haven't seen the anime or read the manga so my review is based solely on the movie.

I was very excited to watch this movie because I really liked all the main actors and it looked beautifully made but in the end I was left with somewhat of a disappointment.

Kekio was dull, Osamu didn't do the "I'm cool and mysterious" thing well enough, Aya and Kento looked great but their story line wasn't polished off well (I was more interested in them than the leads' story) and Yusuke was the saving grace of this movie cuz his acting was the only convincing thing here.

I don't mean to bash the movie, I enjoyed the movie enough to say I don't regret watching it, but I feel like had this movie been made into a drama instead it would have been for the better. I felt like it started off very well but then it plateaued and then kinda dropped near the end storyline-wise. I wasn't convinced with anyone's feelings or actions towards anyone else so to me the last 1/4 of the movie wasn't as heartfelt as it could have been. It felt like for the second half of the movie we got little spurts of everything and so I didn't feel the connections between any of the characters.

The music and the color schemes were beautiful (visually it was very pleasing) and its always nice to see beautiful actors doing their thing on camera but that's not enough to get me to re-watch it unfortunately... unless they do a spin-off with the other characters other than the main ones and turn it into a drama, with extra melodramatics and angst lol.

But like I said I don't regret watching it so I guess I would say "watch it if you've got and 1 3/4 hour to kill and like these actors just don't go in with too high expectations like me:)"

Koizora was a sad, yet beautiful/sweet/cute drama all at the same time. Unlike your typical jdrama, the characters do not overreact(anime-like). I would definitely rewatch this drama if I were in the mood to cry(I cried every 5 minutes or so, it felt like it) LOL. I finished this drama in a day because I couldn't stop watching it; there are only 6 episodes!

This drama left me deep in thought even after I finished it. None of the episodes were boring, each one left me wanting to watch the next, it was just so good. The story is on the more mature and serious nature, so I wouldn't recommend watching this drama if you're in the mood for something light and funny. It's not a romance either. The story deals more with abuse, friendship, growing stronger and finding yourself. Each character had their own story, their own problems they were struggling with.

What really got to me in this drama was the realism of it. There are people that go through these types of issues in real life, and they don't always have someone by their side to help them get back on their feet. In the drama you find out more about each person as the story progresses, it made me think a lot about the people in my own life, everyone struggles with something, some people have deep dark secrets their embarrassed to talk about or afraid to talk about.

The acting was done really well! Exceptional! I haven't seen any of the other actors act in anything else, except for Nishikido Ryo, I've seen him in 1 Litre Of Tears. Needless to say, seeing him go from his character there to this one proves how much of a good actor he is. Sosuke was dark, his character was scary in ways because of the things he did. Nagasawa Masami as Michiru did a really good job, you saw her character getting stronger as the drama progressed. Ueno Juri as Ruka did an excellent job, her character had a lot of internal suffering going on as you find out more as each episode ends. I loved Eita's character, Takeru, even with all the things he's gone through he's an upbeat guy, admirable. The rest of the cast was really good, as well.

The music was good, the theme song, "Prisoner Of Love" by Utada Hikaru was perfect for the drama. The lyrics really matched with what the characters felt. The instrumental to it was really nice as well. The rest of the instrumentals fit the drama as well.

Will I rewatch this again? Someday. Serious dramas like this I love and enjoy for their realism, but I'm not sure when I'll rewatch this, if I do it won't be for a while.

Overall: It's a really good drama, I'd recommend it to everyone. It deals with a lot of issues. I found myself needing to watch each episode, like I mentioned above - I wasn't bored with any of this drama. There was always something going on to keep me intrigued and wanting to see what happens next.

The impact of their friendship, how each of them were willing to do anything to protect each other, that's the most important part of this drama I feel.

I wished they'd of gone a little more into detail about a few things, but overall it was done really well, I can't say it enough!

this drama has everything a kdrama should have...definitely my favorite out there. Its like they took every great thing about kdramas and put it all in a neat package for us.

non-boring story line? check

great OST? check (one of the best)

chemistry between actors? check (sizzling in some cases)

hilarious and embarrassing events? check

a beautiful love formation? check

actors acting their butts off? check (especially Shin Dong Wook's butt...um I mean acting butt...um I mean acting chops)

angst but not jump-off-the-cliff angst? check

a totally different way to tell a story (editing etc)? check (I haven't seen a drama do what it does to the story and not make it confusing but actually add to the awesome-ness)

man I love this drama!! definitely a must watch!!

one of my favorite (if not THE favorite) jdrama around. It made me a Hiroki fan (he could do no wrong after I saw him here...yeah even that dolittle series lol)...

One reason I love jdramas so much= the funny...and this show gives you plenty of it...I've re-watched it so many times and I STILL crack up every time:D

and its not just random funny things happening like in HanaKimi..there is an actual storyline and its not TOTALLY off the wall. It also helps that the girls are bada$$ and all of the parentals are cool and funny and the melodramatics aren't tooo...melo?...

Its not repetitive, the main two actors have chemistry, and I personally didn't think it slowed down... I think if you watch something like HanaKimi and then watch this show you might think its slower because they do add background stories to each character...but com'on! its only 10 episode and if not for anything else watch it to stare at the pretty that is Narimiya Hiroki and Hongo Kanata :)

this show was quite a surprise... unknown actors, blah story line, terrible graphics but it has some of the funniest dialogue that you tend to think that they purposely did everything that way so that you would think "its so funny in a cheeesy way" and that its not JUST "cheesy".... the vampire dude it pretty hot so that helps with things too:)

I usually drop things quick if I dont think it was done well but this show picks up quick (esp since the episodes aren't that long) and I embraced the chunny-ness (cheesy-funny-ness?)

I found Buzzer Beat to be a really enjoyable drama. I started watching it because I heard good things about it and Yamapi is the main lead here. The story is good - it's about chasing your dreams and finding love along the way. Like other reviewers have stated, it's not a story that focuses just on basketball, more on the romance and the friendship between the characters.

The acting was done really well, no complaints at all. It was nice seeing Yamapi in a different role. Kitagawa Keiko I've recently seen in Paradise Kiss and her character here is different and she did a good job in her role. The rest of the cast was great as well!

The music was good! I loved the main song, "Ichibu to Zenbu" by B'z, I still listen to it a lot. Also the instrumentals were nice and there was also some classical music.

I can see myself rewatching this series someday, not any time soon, but someday.

Overall I think this drama deserved all the awards it got. It was well acted and the story was really good and enjoyable. There were a few characters that got annoying, but most dramas have those. In the end you find yourself cheering on the main leads. Also the friends were really great as well!

This movie is about teen bullying. Not only you will see the victim side but also the bully himself. They started off as good friends until there was a misunderstanding between one of them. Their other good friend tried to help them both to work things out until something tragic happened. I actually feel sorry for the bully instead of the victims. IDK, thats just my opinion.

The only problem I had with this movie was that it started off really slow. There were flashbacks and I couldn't tell if it was the present or their past that was playing. You get used to it after a while though. And there isn't any music being played, maybe just 2 songs but it's really short. That is why I gave it a bad score.

Other than that, the actors did a really great job portraying their characters.

When I first started watching this I was really excited, but as episodes went by I simply couldn't continue watching it. For me this drama is an insult to women, and their role on a marriage. It does have cute and funny moments, but it also has a lot of drama and sexism.

Story- The story isn't so bad. In fact it would be very good if it were developed differently. What I simply couldn't tolerate was the way Bong Man/San Young treated Hae Chan, as if she were his object and burden. He never lets her grows as a person, or at least that's from my perspective. I thought the cutest couple were Bong Gyu and Hae Won. I just watched until episode 10, so maybe in the next episode the story will change and become super good, but I simply couldn't continue.

Acting-The cast isn't bad, they play their characters well, but they're nothing extraordinary, and I felt the leads had no chemistry at all.

Music-I really didn't like any song.

Rewatch value-I'd never ever rewatch this again, I couldn't even finish it.

Overall for me this was a dissapointing drama, I was expecting much more from it.

Ive never read the manga or watched the anime so I didnt know a lot going into this. However, after finishing it I can say it was pretty entertaining. I enjoyed the second half of eps because the story was more developed and it delved into more of the characters back-story. I wanted more romance but I appreciated the outrageous as well. Looking forward to the movie...

As much as I loved the cast, there is nothing that any of them could've done to improve this storyline. Isn't this, you know, a pedipile's dream? A 17 year old and a 32 year old? If you're into ~forbidden romance~ please try a different movie. This movie was like a censored porn, except it wasn't censored at all! I didn't enjoy it at all, but each person has different opinions. My opinion? Watch a movie where you can actually see the great talent and acting that is Shim Ji-ho. Watch something like the drama Sorry, I Love You or the movie Frozen Flower. :)

So much is packed into the 1st episode that i was not quite sure what to expect from this drama. By the second episode it was clear that City Hunter would be an epic revenge drama. Lee Min-Ho has been great in every drama that I've seen him in, and he doesn't disappoint as an action star. I loved his cool demeanor during fight scenes, and the fact that he still could come across as bad@ss in those pants.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch an action based drama when I started this one, but each episode ended with such great cliff hangers that I couldn't help but become a fan. The story had so many great twists that I wasn't bored once while watching. The cast was great! Kim Sang Joong is amazing as the father who raises him for revenge. Kim Mi Sook broke my heart as his mom. Lee Joon Hyuk was good because he was so annoying, and frustrating to watch as the prosecutor. Park Min Young was cute as City Hunters love interest, but she started to become less interesting during the last episodes. As an ensemble the cast was top notch.

I would recommend City Hunter to anyone looking for a highly addictive drama. I don't know that it would be as exciting when rewatched since suspense is such a big part of the story. For those who are worried about too much action, there are also many cute (though typical) romantic moments, and some humor. The one horrible thing about City Hunter is, in spite of an epic ending to all of the action, the way they resolve everything at the end is extremely disappointing. It almost seemed like they were setting things up for a 2nd season, and surprisingly, 20 episodes later, I was hoping for one.
