My comfort series
Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong are absolutely phenomenal as Khun Pin and Princess Anil in The Loyal Pin. Freen gives Pin such quiet strength and loyalty she’s protective, steady, and carries so much love in the way she looks at Anil, even when she can’t say it out loud. Becky as Anil is regal but vulnerable. She has to be sharp and guarded as a princess, but Becky lets you see all the hurt and longing underneath. Together, their chemistry is devastating in the best way. The tension between duty and love, the stolen glances, the moments where they choose each other despite everything — FreenBecky make it feel so real. They turn a political, historical story into something so personal and emotional. You don’t just watch Pin and Anil fall in love, you root for them, you hurt with them, and you believe in them. _The Loyal Pin_ showed a whole new side of FreenBecky, and they nailed it. 10/10.

Beyond Expectations
Mr. Kill is a gripping thriller that successfully blends psychological suspense, crime, and mystery into a compelling story. Instead of relying on constant action, the series builds tension through its characters, unpredictable twists, and the lingering question of who can truly be trusted. The serial murder investigation keeps the audience invested, with each episode revealing just enough to make you eager for the next.Dew delivers one of the strongest performances in the series as a mangaka whose calm and reserved personality hides layers of complexity. He perfectly captures the character's intelligence, vulnerability, and mystery, making it difficult to tell what he's really thinking. His subtle facial expressions and emotional restraint make every scene feel meaningful, and he completely embodies the role.
Tee is equally impressive as the inspector leading the investigation into a string of serial killings. He portrays a determined and perceptive investigator who is relentless in his pursuit of the truth while also carrying the emotional burden that comes with the case. His performance gives the investigation credibility and keeps the audience invested in every clue and revelation.
The heart of Mr. Kill is the dynamic between Dew's mysterious mangaka and Tee's inspector. Their relationship is built on suspicion, curiosity, and gradually developing trust, creating an engaging cat-and-mouse dynamic that keeps the tension high throughout the series. Every interaction between them feels important, adding another layer to the mystery rather than simply moving the plot forward.
The directing deserves special recognition for maintaining suspense from beginning to end. The pacing is well controlled, the cinematography enhances the dark atmosphere, and every scene is crafted to keep viewers questioning what will happen next. Rather than relying on cheap shock value, the series builds psychological tension that lingers long after each episode ends.
Overall, Mr. Kill is a well-executed thriller with an intriguing premise, strong performances, and excellent direction. Dew shines as the enigmatic mangaka, Tee is convincing as the relentless inspector, and their on-screen dynamic is one of the series' greatest strengths. It's a must-watch for anyone who enjoys character-driven thrillers filled with suspense, mystery, and compelling performances.

Highly recommend
Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong are absolutely captivating as Lom and Blew. Freen brings such a quiet strength to Lom — she’s calm, steady, and magnetic, the kind of person who doesn’t have to say much to change the air in a room. You can feel the weight behind every glance and small smile. Becky, as Blew, is the perfect contrast: warm, expressive, and stubborn in the sweetest way. She tries so hard to act like she isn’t affected, but Becky makes you see every crack in that armor. Together, their chemistry is unreal. It’s all in the little things — the hesitation before a touch, the way they say each other’s names, the tension that melts into softness. Lom and Blew feels like wind meeting someone who never expected to be moved, and FreenBecky make that feel so real and emotional. They don’t just act in love, they make you believe in it. Honestly, I’d rewatch a whole series of just them. 10/10.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
Good drama, but a little rough pacing
I was kinda hesitant at first, as there's not really much reason for me to watch it, but i gave it a try, and well i guess along the way i just ended up getting invested in it.The story has a similar approach like Fireworks of my Heart, so that helped me ease into the drama easily, as i have something i could reference it with, so it's not really new to me. I know this is different, I'm not here to compare the two, but I'm just saying, i have seen something similar. In the beginning i was kinda wondering how they would go about intertwining 2 characters that have a busy work schedule and are totally different from each other, but that was for me to find out.
It was really rough at first because i feel like the writers are forcing something to happen with the Main couple, not that it's bad, i find it funny and cute even, maybe cringe at times as well hahaha. I could actually see this type of story happen in real life, and that's what i really like about this drama as well, is that it's grounded. I know there are some fictional parts here and there, but eyy, you sometimes need to add some spice to the story. Then, after they managed to get the ship sailing, the romance finally took off. It took a while for our main couple to get together because there's some fluff here and there, showing their busy life, as i said 'very grounded' that why i like cdramas, its slow, they take their time for you to get really invested in the characters, but sometimes that can be a double edge sword, because too much fluff will make you lose attention.
They are really good at transitioning to fluffy plots, but sometimes you can tell they are forcing it in the story, breaking the pacing and vibe. It's like driving someone else's car. The first time you drive, you'll get rough breaks here and there because you still gotta get a hold of the timing and feel of it. That's what is happening with the pacing of this drama. Also, from what you see in the image cover, there are 3 couples in this drama, but not only that, because there are a lot more that you're gonna be following as well, and that's something I've noticed halfway through, like the attention is very divided, as much as they try to make it feel like just the main couple. It's good that they have care and attention to other plots, but sometimes it can feel meh.
The 2nd couple was very cute and wacky in the beginning, i like how they have the same concept as the Main couple, but explore a different situation, and idk, just like in real life, they started to get really messy halfway because of the 2nd ML. It was rough and very insufferable. I couldn't wrap my head around it. I was annoyed as to why they had to do it, but sometimes i wish the 2nd FL would just end up with someone. But as a man i was able to read what was going on inside the 2nd ML's mind, and then they managed to make it to the end. They were a great support to the Main couple, as they are the literal best friends, but sometimes can be a little bit weak, and that's where our 3rd Couple comes in.
The 3rd couple, as the literal adult couple in the show, was a breath of fresh air if you need a break from the other 2 couples. Since they already had an established history, it was really easy to get into their dynamic. I don't know about you, but these two were just chill and simple. Both are good actors, and they have good chemistry. Don't expect butterflies in your stomach moments with them that much because they have a mature approach. They weren't toxic as well. As I've said, when the 2nd couple feels weak, this couple comes in as another good support, because they can give mature insights, and when they feel weak, the main couple complements them with different perspectives. So that's how you know, there's not a wasted character here. Every single one of them complements and drives the other.
The acting is good. FL was such a standout for me, because she's really good at portraying emotions, and the way she controls her tone and vibe is so good. It feels like crying is like a switch to her that she can just turn on and off. She's very versatile, as she does well in funny scenes and can be serious when she needs to be serious or angry. She was like the main driving force for the romance of our Main couple. She and BJT had good chemistry.
Bai Jing Ting here was very different to me, because i just recently finished 'First Frost' and in there he was kinda like introverted and a little bit softie, but here he's like a Man MAN. His character is loud and very strong. He was able to perform the character, showing a strong side of him. I can't really say Xing Kelei was perfect, because in the beginning it gives off creepy and stalker vibes, but it's fine because they were able to develop the character nicely.
I kept commenting on Jiang Pei Yao's synergy with the other actors while watching, because i just recently watched her oldest drama, and her lack in the beginning was that she didn't have timing with her acting, but here she got really good chemistry with the other actors/actresses, the improvement with her acting is so big. She's really good at playing supporting characters. I really hope she'll get a main lead romance drama in the future. We didn't really explore much with her character, now that i'm thinking about it.
Overall, good drama. This is a really good starter recommendation for someone who's getting into c-dramas.

The Heart Will Go On
Ye Li is summoned from the elite Lishan Academy to prepare for her wedding to Mo Xiuyao, a crippled and unfavored prince. Her younger sister Ye Ying is now engaged to her former fiancé, Prince Mo Jingli. Ye Li is unfazed by the groom swap and blithely oblivious to her new husband's frosty glowers and suspicious side-eyes. True to Xiuyao's suspicions, there is more to Ye Li than meets the eye. She has secrets and has returned to the capital with a higher purpose than marriage—one focused on righting injustices against the former Prince Ding and Lishan Academy. As it turns out, both Ye Li and Mo Xiuyao were collateral damage in a power play at the highest level of imperial authority. Their common cause draws them together, but in order to truly work together, they must confront the past and put it behind them.Though set in the fictional dynasty of Dachu, the setting for The First Jasmine is clearly inspired by Wu Zetian's controversial ascent, and the costumes, political dynamics, and social structures are distinctly Tang dynasty. While the political plot is not particularly special, the past intrigue is revealed in a way that draws you in, like pieces of a puzzle gradually falling into place. Everyone is an unreliable narrator, divulging their own role in the multiple betrayals eight years ago from their own point of view. The plot does not bother to fully explain itself, leaving the audience to speculate on and eventually piece together what happened with a growing sense of dread.
The problem is that the drama reaches its emotional peak a little too early, and after that, there is a sense of anticlimax heading into the finale. The final plot arc is rushed and fails to deliver a sense that justice was served or that the country is in better hands.
That said, this is a very solid character-driven story about healing. Both Ye Li and Mo Xiuyao are deeply damaged by past trauma, and the way their relationship evolves makes sense given what they endured. Ye Li is a deeply traumatized and complicated protagonist who appears functional only because of the coping mechanisms she relies upon to get through her difficulties. As a character, perhaps Ye Li is too capable, but she embodies the ethos of the elite Lishan Academy, and through her, the heart will go on. That said, the Lishan backstory unveil took too long and left me emotionally exhausted.
While Bai Lu pulls off a memorable and heartbreaking portrayal of Ye Li's trauma, her final showdown lacked sufficient impact. Her cold, resting-death-face missed the mark, and I felt that Xiuyao—no less a victim—deserved to be in on the final confrontation. I am fine with sidelining the male lead in the finale of female-centric storylines, but the actress has to be able to rise to the moment. That didn't happen here.
There were many interesting character arcs that didn't play out. I expected Han Mingxi to play a more consequential role and saw potential in his hilarious interactions with Ye Ying. But to me, Mo Jingli was the biggest missed opportunity. He is a cunning and layered character who pursued a just cause via questionable means. I did not like how the narrative diminished his cause, his motivations, and his intelligence heading into the finale.
Ultimately, this drama tries to combine too many themes. It is difficult to mix romance into a heavy revenge story, so I didn't mind so much that they didn't really try. Where it falls down most for me is how the main revenge plot failed to deliver closure or transformation. The story introduces so many interesting characters who seem to have agency and free will, only to have them go down the path of tired tropes. Screenwriter Zhao Na strikes again - her dramas always start well on the inspiration from borrowed works but she is really building a track record in not knowing how to end her plot arcs properly.
This starts out as an 8.5-level drama, but with the ending, it only earns an 8.0+. Still, it has enough unique aspects to make it an enjoyable and recommended watch.

GAP The Series is The Root of Thai GL Industry!!!
For people like us, GAP The Series was likea ray of light we found while wandering through
a deep, dark forest.✨
Before 2022, even though GL existed, it wasn't
as widespread as BL. Even most of the GL actresses
who are highly famous right now were just playing
supporting roles in BL and straight series back
then. Production companies only wanted to focus
their efforts on making BLs and neglected GLs with
the mindset that they would just result in financial
losses.😌
However, when GAP The Series was released in
late 2022, it changed everything. The new GL
couple, FreenBecky, along with GAP, managed
to surpass all the BLs out there and dominated
everything from the local to the global stage.👑
For the newer GL fans who came later, GAP might
not be a perfect series. But for those of us who have
loved FreenBecky and GAP since Day 1, it is an
absolutely perfect series.💞
GAP is the core heart of everyone who loves FreenBecky.🌷🤍🌹

A Layered Story
Unpopular opinion: I actually enjoyed being confused as heck and not knowing what was happening next 😆✅ likes:
- this is my first introduction to all these actors, plus i haven't been in the cdrama scene in a long time, so the chemistry and acting between the main 4 was enjoyable to watch
- the first, middle, up to arc before the final worked for me
- the OSTs, the makeup, the costumes, the cinematography was absolutely beautiful
- i loved the aesthetic and lore of the Formless Moon Sect
- i liked how the characters had more layers to them, Veil of Shadows is fitting for a title because you're literally trying to figure out the characters' true motivations
- the symbolism for JiLu and WuWu; and how it gets incorporated often throughout the show
- JiLu story 😭 iykyk
❎what didn't work:
- i loved WuWu couple but around the final arc, it really did feel like their story wasn't given proper attention that was due
- wanted a more proper resolution from Wu Shiguang's character arc especially towards the end
- wanted the main cast to actually have a proper interaction towards the end.
- the last arc was a bit lacking, it felt a bit rushed and underdeveloped. maybe there could have been more episodes to explore the others so the ending could come together nicely. i feel like it became more Ji Ling-centered, not complaining but i wish it had a more rounded final arc
- yuan wuhuo's motivation in the last arc did not make sense, made more sense if he was influenced by jiu ying
- the timing of some of the events, especially the drought. if Han Ba spoke ages ago, wouldn't have Luo'an be a lot worse at the start of the story (although it was alluded to)
- the sisters 🦊
🌸overall thoughts:
i was tossing between 8.5-9.0 but honestly, despite some of the plot inconsistencies and the final arc, i did enjoy it and the stories stayed with me
would recommend if you like:
- the actors already
- a good romance
- aesthetic
- the storyline (yes i know, the final arc was a bit lacking but i still feel like the stories were quite interesting)

A chaotic romance that flies high on charm, with a spiritual script going little off-balance
I started watching Head Over Heels expecting a fun, easy watch, and it definitely delivered, even if it got a bit messy toward the end. The story hooks you right away. We follow Seong-ah, a bright high schooler who doubles as a badass shaman at night. She ends up crossing paths with Gyeon-woo, a brooding, incredibly unlucky guy who is basically a magnet for evil spirits. Once Seong-ah realizes she’s the only "human amulet" who can keep him alive, the chaos begins. The first half of the drama is easily a 8/10. The chemistry between the leads is amazing, I loved watching the grumpy-meets-sunshine dynamic play out, and Cho Yi-hyun is perfect as the fierce yet slightly clueless shaman. It’s packed with romance, ghosts, high school sports, and great friendships.
But things change in the second half, which felt more like a 6/10. A chaotic spirit named Bong-su possesses Gyeon-woo's body. Now, Choo Young-woo does a hilarious job playing this wild spirit, but the show gets so distracted by his arcade-playing, comedic antics that it completely forgets about Gyeon-woo's actual life-or-death curse. It suddenly felt like two different dramas jammed together. The ending felt rushed too, with the writers dumping random backstories and plot points on us just to wrap things up. The side characters unfortunately got pushed to the background because of this.
Still, despite the bumpy pacing, it’s a solid 7/10 for me. It’s funny, charming, and highly addictive. It’s not a perfect masterpiece, but if you’re looking for a pure, entertaining escape that will keep you glued to your screen, you’ll definitely enjoy this ride.

Unexpected
This is a historic series both in the sense that it is set in the way past and has FreenBecky. To say at the start, I was not excited to watch it at all.I forced myself to watch it and I am very glad I did. I was not interested to watch as I don't really watch past documentaries but I saw the "punishment" reaction video (If you haven't watched that, you're really missing out haha) and I was sucked in.
Anin is so strong, but even more stronger is her love for Pin. The longing, yearning is lovely to see. This is really a slow series in the sense it takes its time but the end result is always beautiful as it is with Freen Becky.
If anything I would say to others is that watch it slow, give it time and it'll reel you in. AninPin have crazy love towards each other, they always show their love. The ending is something I didn't expect. Some people still don't accept lesbians even now and this was set in the way past.
I loved their ending, their family understood and they could be with each other.

Not you typical GL series!
The Air is not your typical GL series. It has slow burn romance but the actresses can still make you feel butterflies with how they look at each other. Unlike other LGBTQ+ series which the common issue is about loving the same gender, here in The Air is all about a royalty loving a commoner. It has action packed scenes as well as romance, comedy and drama, it will make you feel different emotions!¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
The Loyal Pin is The Best Period GL Drama all Time !!!
The Loyal Pin is the best GL drama seriesI have ever watched so far.👑🔥
FreenBecky's perfectly matched acting
skills along with the high budget made this
series incredibly worth watching.
The storyline is set around the 1950s-1960s
era, and although people who only prefer
modern settings might not be into it, anyone
who can feel and understand the message
and the quality that The Loyal Pin aims to
deliver will definitely love it.
Up to this day, The Loyal Pin remains
one of the best GL projects ever done by
the Queens of Thai GL: FreenBecky.🌷🤍🌹

A Poetic and Visual Masterpiece!
The Loyal Pin is an absolute masterpiece and easily one of the most beautiful Thai GL series ever made. Freen and Becky give an elite-tier performance that shows incredible growth in their acting. Becky is brilliant as the confident and headstrong Princess Anin, while Freen does an amazing job as Lady Pin, using subtle glances and expressions to show deep emotion and love. Their chemistry is pure magic, making the transition from childhood friends to a deep, passionate romance feel incredibly real and moving. On top of the acting, the show is visually stunning—the 1950s costumes, royal palaces, and traditional Thai culture look like a high-budget movie. It is a breathtaking, emotional, and perfect historical romance that deserves a flawless 10/10!¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

A Rollercoaster of Emotions!
At first, I thought this kdrama was going to be a cute slice-of-life kind of story, but wow, did it amaze me. I felt like every episode had something new, something mind-boggling, and I experienced a range of emotions while watching this K-drama. It was so gut-wrenching and sad that I cried so much... But I loved every part of it!Although I do not have Asperger's syndrome, I felt like I had a very good idea of what it looked like by the end of it. The actor playing Geu-ru hands down portrayed and did his role so well and phenomenally at that. The small details and micro expressions really allow you to understand how someone with this kind of disorder acts, and how he shows the little emotions he's feeling through his very, very small facial movements is impressive in itself.
Additionally, the relationships shown between father and son, alongside other familial (and maybe romantic ones) connections, had me bawling my eyes out. The way his father's death didn't hit me at first would soon haunt me. I felt like the build-up with their relationship was done so well, and it had me so devastated that someone so young lost both his parents at 20. The last episode was so well written, and I loved how it showed a message of someone still being there even if you couldn't see them. I also thought it was so sad how it had symbolized the many moments of Geu-ru hugging his 'dad' through his clothes, trees, and his ashes.
I wish there were a season two, but I haven't seen any news on it yet. It seemed like it left off on a cliffhanger, and the fact that the MC actually looked at someone in the eyes! That part kind of shocked me, and I'm wondering if the two of them would have some kind of relationship, but sadly, I guess we will never know...
This kdrama was truly so well directed and written, and if anybody would recommend me more like this one, I would sure like that! I am open to any suggestions :)
