The biggest problem wasn't the slow pace - it was the male lead. His decisions became increasingly irrational and repetitive, especially in the second half of the drama. Instead of creating believable conflict, the writers relied on forced misunderstandings and endless self-sacrifice that made no logical sense. Watching him repeatedly push the female lead away, despite both of them clearly knowing how they felt, became frustrating rather than emotional.
A good drama makes you empathize with the characters choices, even if you disagree with them. Here, I simply couldn't understand why the male lead kept making the same unrealistic decisions over and over again. It felt like the conflict existed only because the writers needed to stretch the story, not because the characters would naturally behave that way.
You might like it.. if you are under 12.

Warm but preachy
I watched it all in one sitting. And I loved the metaphors so much :
- the roti was the apple . The taste of "sin". The taste of freedom and the taste of Tanrak's own feelings.
- the confession scene with tanrak opening the door and barth joining him in his hell.
- Tanrak leaving his rosary with Barth and him losing it (he left his faith with him but he lost it)
Tongdech being also the one who brings it back : reminds him of it.
And there were many other ones...
I wish GMMTV made more series like this with as much symbolism as this one. I enjoyed it truly.
And I loved the acting of Fourth so much.
The only thing that i feel i differ on with many other viewers is i do consider the priest ( Father) as the villain of the story and the religion as a trauma. You can see it in Tanrak's reaction to them finding out. Because if his love was permitted in his religion, he wouldn't have had such a big reaction. That episode broke my heart for him. Kongdech was the sneakiest b**** ever, i hated how every time he came in on the moral high ground, acting like he didn't know nothing, when he knew.
I hated how the priest didnt reach out and ease his worries, and instead he repeated the same message "choose between god and love". Implying that if you choose love, you are forever guilty of being flawed.
I hated how Tanrak fully believed that, and lived many years feeling flawed as a human.
And I think if it wasnt for the trans character i would hate this story. She came in like a fresh breeze in the middle of hell. She was an ICON.
All in all, this show is for someone who is both religious and lgbt and it is important to have shows like this. But it is also important to remember that you do not have to live in guilt. YOU ARE NOT FLAWED FOR BEING YOU. And you shouldn't feel guilty because if god exists, He would love you either way. Being gay is NOT a sin to repent from. Neither is acting on it. Being alive and well and with your loved ones is the best that can come out of this life.
So I hope that this series wont reinforce the religious guilt many still feel to this day. And I hope it will instead be a message for love.

I can't stand their attitude
I know the characters are like that, but the mistreatment from Rin to Khem were too much for me to handle, i was screaming at the screen KHEEEEEEEEEEEMJIRAAAA GET SOME SELF LOVE GIRL!!! and to RIM, GIRL WTF!!! the whole time, however when it came to their chemistry i was trully amazed by them. Enjoy and June are just two sweet woman.I really enjoyed the show

A really good surprise
I was honestly pleasantly surprised by this drama, I saw a lot of recommendations for it online and I was struggling to find anything to watch after my last drama, and I had already watched the first episode of a bunch of other dramas to see if I enjoyed it, I watched the first episode of this drama and immediately disliked it, there was just something really cringey about the FL that didn't sit right with me, especially since it felt like she kept being saved by the ML at every turn. It was also really praised for it cgi online, and although the cgi used really is extensive, the quality felt the same as any other wuxia drama. But again I didn't have anything to watch, and at that point a cringey drama felt much better than a bad one, so I kept watching while I was trying to find another one to watch, and lo and behold, I actually started to like it, I think it was by episode 3, when I realised that the Fl was actually originally really cool, and didn't need anyone to save her, their backstory was honestly really beautifully done and was what encouraged me to keep watching it.
Things that I liked:
1. I loved the chemistry between the FL and the ML, there was so much yearning and pinning from the ML that I loved so much, it felt low key like a forbidden romance, except it was the FL that forbid it herself, it's just that she didn't remember.
2. Character development, there was so much character growth in this drama, I don't think there was a single flat character, maybe the ML's disciples who felt like followers at times, but even their characters were lightly explored. There were characters with a redemption arc, like the ML himself, who used to be obsessed with power but because of the FL ended up growing content with just living life to the fullest. There were characters who fell from grace but were still redeemable.
3. The world building is simply chef's kiss, I can't complain, it's same as any other wuxia drama, but the scenes were still uniques in its own way, I loved all the nature and green.
4. The fighting scenes were really good, I had to suspend my disbelief a couple of times, but I got into it after a while.
5. Lastly, the pacing was also done well, I don't think there was a single episode that felt useless to the plot, the first two episodes weren't that good for me but I understood why it was necessary now.
Things I didn't like:
1. There were way too many coincidences and quick fixes in this drama that I again had to suspend my disbelief to be able to follow, "got killed don't worry you can get resurrected as a tree", "got poisoned I coincidentally have a pill for that", "got poisoned again, sorry I no longer have a pill for that so we have to journey far and wide to save you", "oh I'm surrounded, ok I have a spell/talisman for that", like things just tend to fix themselves really smoothly when they want to, it made the moment they suddenly can't fix it due to the plot feel a lot more unbelievable. I docked some point from my overall score because of this.
2. Something that always irritates me so much in Cdramas, is all the blood spitting scenes, like these productions must seriously have a huge budget for all the fake blood that these actors have to spit out, like it felt like they would just spit out blood in some scenes for absolutely no reason. And the whole fainting while standing scene honestly annoys me so much, cause like who the heck stays upright when they faint, it makes it so unimaginable, there is just so much my belief and my imagination can be suspended.
3. The whole second amnesia plot felt very unneeded, especially since it feels forgotten by the last arc of the drama, and honestly just served to make the drama drag on a bit more.
4. The ending was a happy ending, but at the same time it felt very bittersweet, I didn't get the point of them leaving their friends behind and never seeing them again.
Anyways, although it personally doesn't have any rewatch potential for, as there are so many other dramas in my to be watched list, I don't see myself ever picking this up again, but overall I would still highly recommend it.

The action plot runaway with a romantic twist
The Air is an absolute triumph — another masterpiece from FreenBecky and a standout chapter in the 4 Elements universe. From the very first episode, the series pulls you in with its perfect mix of high-stakes action, political intrigue, and a slow-burning forbidden romance that feels both thrilling and deeply emotional. Freen Sarocha shines as Lom, the fiercely loyal and highly skilled police lieutenant. She brings intensity to the action sequences while revealing a quiet vulnerability that makes the character incredibly compelling and human.
Becky Armstrong is mesmerizing as Princess Blew (Catherine). She delivers grace, strength, wit, and raw emotion with such natural ease. Watching her navigate danger, duty, and the unexpected pull of her heart is pure acting excellence.
But what truly makes The Air unforgettable is the electric, magnetic chemistry between Freen and Becky. Every glance, every moment of tension, and every tender exchange feels authentic and charged with meaning. Their connection is the invisible force that carries the entire story — powerful, inevitable, and impossible to look away from.
The production values are excellent: sleek cinematography, sharp direction, beautiful visuals, and a pace that keeps you completely hooked until the final frame. It’s romantic, suspenseful, and surprisingly heartfelt all at once.
If you love stories about protection, loyalty, love that defies boundaries, and two strong women fighting for each other (and themselves), this is essential viewing. Freen and Becky have once again proven why they are the gold standard in Thai GL.
The wind brought them together… and it swept us all away

The WONDERfools is a masterpiece. The best K-Drama series of 2026
ProductionThe WonderFools demonstrates exceptional production standards that place it among the most polished Korean dramas of 2026. If you never see this, you will regret
As long as you actually watch this drama, you will be attracted by it. It is well-produced and the main characters have excellent acting skills. You will see two people who truly love each other, going through numerous difficulties and eventually being together. You can really tell that they are in love. The plot design is also very interesting. Each episode makes you want to watch the next one. It's a thrilling and exciting escape journey, and a romantic and beautiful love story. The appearance and acting skills of the two leading actresses are works of art. The only drawback is that there are too few episodes.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

My comfort series
Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong are absolutely phenomenal as Khun Pin and Princess Anil in The Loyal Pin. Freen gives Pin such quiet strength and loyalty she’s protective, steady, and carries so much love in the way she looks at Anil, even when she can’t say it out loud. Becky as Anil is regal but vulnerable. She has to be sharp and guarded as a princess, but Becky lets you see all the hurt and longing underneath. Together, their chemistry is devastating in the best way. The tension between duty and love, the stolen glances, the moments where they choose each other despite everything — FreenBecky make it feel so real. They turn a political, historical story into something so personal and emotional. You don’t just watch Pin and Anil fall in love, you root for them, you hurt with them, and you believe in them. _The Loyal Pin_ showed a whole new side of FreenBecky, and they nailed it. 10/10.
