Sempre gosta de correr perigo, mas tem um forte senso de justiça."Manner of Death conta a história de Bun, um médico legista que volta de Bangkok para sua cidade natal em busca de uma vida mais tranquila, longe da corrupção e dos conflitos que enfrentava no trabalho. Infelizmente, Viangpha Mork consegue ser duas — ou até dez — vezes pior. Logo nos primeiros dias, Bun se depara com mortes de jovens em circunstâncias suspeitas, um banquete que termina em tragédia e, por fim, a morte de sua melhor amiga. Uma morte que, por mais que tentem fazê-la parecer um suicídio, claramente não é. Afinal, quem está por trás desses crimes? Eles estão ligados entre si? E, principalmente... em quem dá para confiar?
No meio de toda essa bagunça, Bun conhece Tan, um professor muito próximo de sua falecida melhor amiga. Simpático, prestativo e sempre disposto a ajudar, Tan parece ser exatamente quem diz ser... ou talvez não.
Manner of Death foi uma série que comecei há vários meses, mas nunca conseguia terminar. Talvez pelos episódios intensos demais? Não sei. Só sei que finalmente resolvi criar vergonha na cara e concluir esse drama, que, inclusive, foi recomendação de uma grande amiga minha, Dorina (beijos, fofa).
Sem mais delongas: Manner of Death soube exatamente o que fazer com todos os mistérios que apresentou no início. A série não apenas desenvolve cada um deles muito bem, como consegue amarrar tudo de uma forma extremamente satisfatória. E não é exagero. Quando começam a surgir plot atrás de plot, personagens que você jamais imaginaria envolvidos e revelações cada vez mais absurdas, eu realmente achei que tudo terminaria de forma corrida ou sem explicação.
Mas não.
O doutor Bun é, facilmente, um dos meus personagens favoritos da série. No início, ele parece um homem frio, fechado e extremamente desconfiado, principalmente com quem acabou de conhecer. Mas basta vê-lo ao lado dos amigos — e principalmente do Tan — para perceber que ele é, na verdade, o personagem mais sentimental de toda a história. E me arrisco a dizer: também foi quem mais sofreu.
Porque, convenhamos... que série gosta de matar personagem.
Bun não apenas perde pessoas importantes. Ele também é obrigado a investigar seus corpos e descobrir a verdadeira causa de suas mortes. Isso, por si só, já seria suficiente para destruir qualquer pessoa psicologicamente. Mas ele vai além. Diante da negligência da polícia, decide investigar por conta própria e vai até os confins do inferno para fazer justiça por quem ama. É impossível não gostar dele. Bun é aquele tipo de protagonista que dá vontade de colocar dentro de um potinho e proteger.
Já o Tan segue um caminho completamente diferente.
Ele é carismático, simpático e faz amizade com uma facilidade absurda. Está sempre sorrindo e parece genuinamente gostar de cuidar das pessoas ao seu redor. Mas, ao mesmo tempo, existe algo nele que nunca parece completamente transparente. Conforme a história avança, percebemos que Tan guarda segredos muito maiores do que aparenta.
E acho que esse foi um dos maiores acertos da série.
Durante boa parte da história, Tan funciona como alguém que está sempre tentando proteger Bun. Só que um dos grandes plots envolve justamente o próprio personagem. Talvez não seja uma surpresa tão grande para quem está assistindo, mas, para o Bun, é um verdadeiro choque. Depois disso, Tan deixa de ser apenas o professor apaixonado para se tornar alguém muito mais complexo. É um personagem que consegue ser amado e odiado quase ao mesmo tempo.
E, sinceramente...
Tan é completamente atacante, brega e romântico. Acho que não existe uma definição melhor do que essa.
A relação entre Bun e Tan definitivamente não é o foco principal da série. E, sinceramente? Acho que esse foi o maior acerto de Manner of Death.
Como eu assisto BLs justamente pelo romance, é claro que minha review acaba girando bastante em torno disso. Mas, se eu quisesse falar sobre a complexidade de outros trinta personagens, eu conseguiria facilmente. Conteúdo é o que não falta.
O romance deles não move a narrativa. Pelo contrário: ele cresce nas entrelinhas da investigação. Enquanto a série desenvolve corrupção, tráfico de mulheres, drogas, assassinatos e conspirações, Bun e Tan simplesmente... vão se apaixonando.
E eu adoro quando uma série faz isso.
Me lembrou muito Jack & Joker, outro drama que eu amo justamente por conseguir equilibrar tão bem romance e história principal.
O que surge entre Bun e Tan é um amor extremamente sincero entre duas pessoas completamente perdidas no mundo. Tan, claro, sempre sendo o atacante da relação, consegue conquistar o doutor depois de muita insistência. E o mais bonito é que, mesmo depois de praticamente todos os seus segredos virem à tona, ele continua exatamente igual. Continua completamente boiola pelo Bun.
Já Bun passa por uma transformação enorme. Aquele homem distante e desconfiado do primeiro episódio praticamente desaparece. No lugar dele, vemos alguém que finalmente aprendeu a confiar, amar e demonstrar o quanto se importa. Ver o Bun completamente desesperado diante da possibilidade de perder o Tan foi um dos momentos que mais me marcou durante a série.
Também gosto muito da maturidade da relação deles. Não existem aquelas brigas por falta de comunicação ou términos sem sentido que aparecem em tantos dramas. Os dois passam por todo tipo de desgraça imaginável e, ainda assim, continuam escolhendo ficar um ao lado do outro.
E eu amo séries que tratam relacionamentos dessa forma.
No geral, Manner of Death tem uma proposta incrível e muito bem executada. Consegue equilibrar suspense, investigação, ação e romance sem deixar nenhum desses elementos de lado. Cada episódio acrescenta alguma coisa à história e, quando você acha que finalmente entendeu tudo, aparece mais um plot para provar o contrário.
Sinceramente, fazia tempo que eu não assistia um BL tão completo. Manner of Death não é apenas uma história de amor entre dois homens. É um thriller policial excelente que, por acaso, também conta uma história de amor.
E talvez seja justamente isso que torne essa série tão especial.

ABO Desire: 6/22/2026 - 7/29/2026
This show was really toxic but like in a weirdly cute way. The main couple has a lot issues they lowkey need to address but they are still really cute. They also seem less toxic given the second couple who has had a lot of issues. Anyways the development of the characters was really good and I love how the romance flowed. I also love how down bad our two main characters are for each other. My only complaint is that endings were very short and rushed and I hope they do special episodes or a second season because there are a few unanswered things. A strong start that lost its way
I wanted to see what all the hype was about—and honestly, I'm happy that a drama centered on ajusshis is getting this much attention. Normally, shows like this get overlooked while so many other gems fade into obscurity.The premise hooked me from the start. I really liked the story of Agent Kim trying to uncover the truth behind his daughter's disappearance, and watching the trio of former operatives work together was a lot of fun.
That said, the humor sometimes felt overdone, clashing with the otherwise serious tone. And somewhere around the halfway point, the storyline became a mess—and it only got worse from there. I pushed through to the final episode just to see how it ended, but to be honest, I didn't miss much. The pacing dragged, and the tight plot loosened into something far less engaging.
It's a shame because I really liked the cast, and the concept had so much potential. But the execution just didn't hold up. I'll probably forget this drama in a few days—it didn't stand out enough to leave a lasting impression.

stra cute!!
È da molto tempo che non guardavo un BL coreano, siccome avevo scoperto quelli tailandesi, per molto tempo ho guardato solo quelli, ma oggi avevo voglia di riconnettermi con con le prime esperienze bl che ho avuto.La storia è molto semplice, e 8 episodi da circa 15 minuti diciamo che è una serie molto corta, (forse per questo avevo iniziato a vedere solo quelli thai, perché sono più lunghi). Sinceramente ne ho viste di migliori di serie coreane, però anche questa è molto carina, mi ha ricordato un sacco "a shoulder to cry on" lo stesso Kim Jae Han degli Omega X mi ha ricordato Shin Jeong You, protagonista di questa serie.
I due attori insieme mi sono piaciuti veramente tanto, sono molto carini, so anche che hanno fatto un’altro bl proprio quest’anno, sicuramente passerò a guardarlo!

The Ending Actually Makes Sense..
Oh my God, it’s been such a long time since I’ve watched a BL this interesting, intense, and well-written. 🤍• Cinematography:
One of the strongest aspects of this series was its cinematography. Every shot, every camera angle, and every lighting choice felt carefully crafted to match the psychological suspense and sci-fi atmosphere.
The visuals constantly kept me questioning what was real and what wasn’t. The soft, warm moments made you feel emotionally safe, while the darker scenes quietly built tension and confusion without feeling overwhelming. Even the transitions between reality and imagination were executed so smoothly that the cinematography itself became part of the storytelling. It wasn’t just beautiful….it was meaningful.
• Acting & Chemistry:
The performances by Great and Tyme completely elevated the series. Their acting felt incredibly natural, and their chemistry was simply unforgettable.
What impressed me the most was how believable their relationship felt. They didn’t rely on dramatic romantic scenes alone; even the smallest moments a glance, a pause, a touch, or the way they looked at each other were enough to convey love, trust, pain, and longing. Their connection felt effortless and deeply genuine.
I think this is what true acting looks like. As a straight viewer, it’s not always easy to instinctively feel the romantic intensity between two male leads. It takes exceptional performances to make the audience completely forget that they’re watching actors. Great and Tyme achieved exactly that. They didn’t just portray a couple they made me believe in their love so completely that their relationship felt real. That’s the kind of chemistry that stays with you long after the drama ends.

I know a lot of people found the storyline confusing, but I absolutely loved it because it made sense to me. My interpretation is that there was only one real timeline. The other two weren’t alternate timelines or time travel they were the final four minutes inside Great’s and Tyme’s minds before they died.
Great’s “second life” was his mind replaying everything while trying to fix the mistakes he made in reality. Then, after Tyme’s death, his own four-minute sequence was simply the life he wished he could have lived with Great if he had made different choices, like never opening his mother’s diary.
The drama’s message, to me, is that in our final moments, we imagine the life we wish we’d lived and the mistakes we wish we could undo. Because the series showed those imagined lives in so much detail and overlapped them with reality, it felt confusing at first.
Even scenes like 2nd lead hearing his dead brother’s voice while watering the plants make sense they’re echoes of reality blending into his final dream. In the real timeline, his brother was already dead.
That’s why I genuinely think there was only one real timeline. The other two existed only in their minds during those last four minutes, and that’s exactly what made this drama so brilliant.

How can an interesting concept become so boring
BoringWhen I saw the trailer, I thought it was going to be some adrenaline rush Train to Busan kind of movie, but it turned out to be nothing like that.
The concept and premise was nice-mall, hive mindset, group of strangers, the generic cliche with something new, however, the director and the writer totally bombed the story in the worst possible way.
They killed the ex husband in the first half an hour which was so expected, like why. I didn't even felt bad because we couldn't even make connections to him. His family's reaction, wife and ex wife was also so lukewarm.
The characters were stupid. I think if you are making zombie movie in 2026, the characters should know what they should do since in their world also many zombie movies have come. They frozen in the worst spot, took the most stupid route and died.
I really felt this was going to be like the strangers group who work together like a team. Do we have make them stupid and narcissist in order for them to die and make scenes interesting. Like in Train to Busan, the og group were loyal to each other and still died and it felt more saddening because it was like they did everything they could but didn't won. Here it felt like, they wanted to die anyway. Their acting was bad too. The dialogues, god who wrote them. I not sure if it was translation issue or bad writing, but the dialogues were so... Unheavy? Light. Like it had no emotions.
Ugggghhh
So stupid.
Let's hope, HOPE does better than this because this sucks.
If you want to watch something zombie related that doesn't boil your blood because of stupidity, watch Happiness or Train to Busan.

A feel good series with some depth (but not that much)...
When "New Sijaw" is directing there is always a chance that it gets very childish and cringe - see "Fourever You Part 1 or "Perfect 10 Liners"". But to my surprise he did not direct it that way. It's of course a bit childish, because they are 15,16 when the show starts (10th grade)... but mostly not in a cringe way.It's a typical summer series, just giving off good vibes, no excessive drama and the "gay" topic does only appear once even when the series is played out in the 90ties (and they found working phones from that time). Production quality was very good as expected and the OST was really good.
So there is not much to say about the series besides that I found it to be pleasant.
But we also have to talk about GMMTV, the most unprofessional company in the thai entertainment industry. First we have to talk about Justin Angus Moir (who's partner disappeared in the finale which was a bummer). Yes Justin posted a lot of shit on twitter but it's unimagable for me, that GMMTV did never know about it. GMMTV failed completely, first a 13 year old boy posting such shit needs help from his parents (I don't know what they did, except not deleting the posts), caunceling sessions/therapist. Most youth post shit, because they have no clue what they are posting... they find it funny, post it and have no idea how that post could be interpreted. So I give him the benefit of a doubt that he was just a stupid kid. Regardless, when GMMTV saw value in him und signed a contract with his parents, they should do due dilligence. That's what my brain tells me without needing to study business administration. So they should have deleted the posts (before announcing), they should have talked to his parents - because clearly they failed - and they should send him to counciling/therapy. But what does GMMTV do? They just kicked him out, because Justin is a nobody, does not bring in money (he first needs investment) and it was the easiest way out, compared to telling the public that they failed and that Justin will remove the posts and that he does not homophobic or misogynistic thoughts anymore, because he got help - that would have been the more unpopular move but the right one. GMMTV signed a contract with his parents (and him) and didn't check his social media profiles? When Joss followed Trump and another right wing - he just removed the follows, said nothing and nothing else happenend. And there was also the tasteless prank on women with Zee before he even joined GMMTV. But of course Joss will not be fired, because he brings profit for the company. But the internet does not forget.
Meanwhile there was also a controversy about a chinese fan who got too close at a fan-meeting and it got rowdy. GMMTV had not hired security because that costs money and of course they must optimize for profits. GMMTV statements are typical corporate speech which says nothing. Chinese fangroups say they will boycott everything GMMTV. I would say - well deserved. And everyone who says, it will not do much harm for GMMTV, they forget that China is by far the biggest market for BLs (fanmeets, concerts, merch - which is what makes them money). GMMTV is a disgrace as an artist managment. Two days ago a chinese fangirl followed Mark into the GMM Grammy building and filmed him in the elevator. Why can fans enter this elevevator and why do they not have security in house who protect their artists? Ah yes, I forgot, it costs money. In the third statement after that incident they said they will take legal action - that should have happened immediately. GMMTV does not get it's shit together and that after years of incident after incident.
Sorry this rant had to be in. Not proactive protecting their artists is a no go. It does not influence my rating for this series of course, It just influences what I think about them and they are the lowest of all companies in the thai entertainment industry so far. Going back to the topic, it's a nice series to watch, but don't expect something too deep but for what it is, it's good.

Fazia tempo que não assistia uma bl de adolescentes tão linda,encantadora e inocente.Assisti a transição dos personagens de adolescentes para início da vida adulta, é sempre emocionante. E foi o que essa bl fez. Como ela foi escrita e cheio emoções, foi um dos motivos no qual me fez apaixonar por ela. Agora o melhor mesmo, foi a entrega dos atores para os personagens. A amizade foi uma coisa que também me pegou muito. A união deles foram tudo para mim. Agora o amor, esse sim, foi a cereja do bolo. Sabe aquele amor inocente? Pois bem, tivemos muito disso e foi lindo de ver.

Muito bom, mas não é perfeito
Pursuit of Jade começa bem forte e cativante graças ao carisma imenso da história e dos protagonistas; principalmente da Changyu, que é uma personagem incrível, forte e determinada (amo protagonistas assim), e do Xie Zheng, que também é excelente. Me diverti e surtei demais assistindo, e a química do casal é maravilhosa.Minha única ressalva é quanto ao ritmo. A primeira metade, até por volta do episódio 30, foi infinitamente superior e muito mais cativante. Os episódios finais acabaram enfraquecendo um pouco a obra porque concentraram praticamente toda a resolução da trama política neles, o que deixou o ritmo um pouco maçante, além de dar a sensação de que alguns acontecimentos foram cortados pelo caminho. E eu, como uma pessoa simples, senti falta de mais cenas do casal e de um pouco mais de equilíbrio nessa reta final.
Ainda assim, foi uma ótima experiência e um bom cdrama. O casal entrega muito e, no fim, eu curti bastante assistir.

Great, grounded action
I really liked this one, honestly. If you're looking for some solid, down-to-earth action, this is a great pick. It feels super real because, unlike a lot of other stuff out there, the main character actually gets tired and you can really see the toll the fights take on him—none of that 'invincible hero' nonsense where they never get a scratch. It’s a raw revenge story that feels pretty gritty and rough around the edges, but it's just so entertaining to watch. Nadech Kugimiya pulls off the physical exhaustion so well, which makes everything feel way more intense. Sure, the pacing is a bit bumpy in a few spots, but the fight scenes are so visceral and well-done that it's easy to just enjoy the ride. Serie entretenida, pero con final confuso
Es una historia entretenida, pero solo para pasar el rato, no es un Cdrama que se te vaya a quedar grabado o que recuerdes mucho; o al menos para mí es así.La protagonista es una chica fuerte, valiente y empoderada que no se deja manipular de nadie y les da su merecido a quienes intentan hacerle daño, pero también es bondadosa con las personas que quiere, sin embargo tal vez a veces la hacían tan perfecta que era difícil empatizar con ella, de todas maneras me caía bien; el príncipe heredero también era agradable, aunque no me gustó mucho que se enamorara a primera vista de la princesa y a veces me desesperaba que fuera tan intenso en intentar conquistarla, pero le funcionó para llegar a su corazón con el tiempo, también era divertido y la quería mucho, ellos eran una buena pareja y se complementaban bien, a pesar de esto no me generaban gran entusiasmo, si estaban juntos o separados, no me importaba mucho; al contrario de la pareja secundaria, Bu Shu Lin y Cui Jin Bai, eran super lindos, caóticos y divertidos, me gustó cómo poco a poco avanzo su relación y la verdad ame que pudieran terminar juntos porque tenían mucha química, me hubiera encantado tener más momentos de ellos en el drama, hubiera sido espectacular.
Me gustaba ver todas las aventuras y problemas por los que tenían que pasar los protagonistas, pero siento que a veces se tornaba lenta la historia y que quedaron muchas cosas sin resolver; estuvo bueno el plot twist que la responsable del envenenamiento del príncipe heredero fuera la emperatriz madre y no el emperador porque sería muy obvio y absurdo al mismo tiempo; fue bueno porque incluso llegue a pensar que la culpable de todo era la madre de los príncipes y ella aunque si hizo muchas maldades, no tenía tanto poder e inteligencia para ser la villana principal; y hablando de los hermanos, tampoco me gusto que se encapricharan tanto con la princesa, porque en realidad ambos eran buenas personas, pero esa fijación sin correspondencia los volvía fastidiosos, pero al menos Chang Ying pudo superarlo y tener una buena vida, y aunque Chang Qing si la llevó hasta el final y estúpidamente se sacrificó por ella, lo cuál realmente no se me hizo con mucho sentido, al menos no dejo que esa obsesión lo separara de su hermano, tenían una relación muy bonita y me gustó que apesar de ser "rivales en el amor" casi nunca los afecto de gran manera en su amor fraternal.
El final después de la revelación del Plot twist de la abuela, se me hizo algo aburrido y la llegada del príncipe no la entendí, no sé porque después de darse por muerto, apareció de la nada después de 4 años, sinceramente no se me hizo algo lindo, si no absurdo. Tengo entendido que hay un capítulo extra donde lo explican, pero para mí, los extras deben aportar algo más a la historia; si me das un drama con 36 episodios, en esos 36 episodios tienes que darme un cierre, a menos de que vaya a existir una nueva temporada; pero este aspecto siento que lo manejaron muy mal, porque no todos los espectadores vamos a saber que existe este extra y no todos lo vamos a ver, así que se me hace injusto que nos den una historia sin un buen cierre.

A gem
I had no expectations for this show when i watched pilot and trailer but i love Almondprogress thats why i started it and im so glad i did, it become one of my favorite series this year, the story is very simple yet the execution was very well done, the cast did incredible, ko song and ko neung relationship growing from neighbors to friends to lovers, i loved the communication between them, no conflit was mad for plot conveniences, everything made sense and felt real, loved the group of friend and their playful dynamic and bond, the production team did incredible, this is my favorite new serieEsta resenha foi útil para você?

Wake me up, plz
This has got to be THE most placid, sleep inducing, undramatic drama ever. Like why? Were the producers afraid we'd be schocked by the turn of events? Are we yo believe that he picked up the guitar and became proficient in less than a year? Were we supposed to believe that he was sad, grieving or sleepy? IT WAS HIS PERMANENT EXPRESSION. Were we to manually adjust the volume when he was supposed to be angry or hurt? He spoke like a mannequin on prozac. In fact, both of them. Only the aunt seem to have a pulse.I didn't hate the aunt. She wanted him to be self sufficient so that when he is left without her, his last relative, he wouldn't feel as lost as she did with every one gone. She too was grieving. Her approach was as smooth as a nail file but understandable.
The only reason I kept watching was because of Chin. He loved him first, but when he realised Yi was hooked on the next constipated one, Ho, he stepped back. So when Ho died, I kept watching to see where it would go.
This has to be a pbs special on grief, friendship and how to live on. A little emotion would have made it so much better. What we got was a quiet, mouse like lecture on how to grieve. Miss me with that boring mess next time. Why the 6? I liked the opening song and that Ho died. They actually took a gamble on exiting a ml that most would like. The series was simply too soft in every way to have any impact.

It's a royal all over the place story you can still enjoy.
- Sometimes it feels like you're watching a "Moon Lovers" parody. -Yes, you're not dreaming. This was my initial thought, especially with all the constant similar scenes and concepts, but this isn't the problem with "Royal Nemesis."
They overcomplicated the story for no reason in the last couple of episodes, they couldn't stop spelling out the most basic things like what's so important in life and other things, but they barely said anything about the main plot. The time-travel story wasn't well-written just like in most romcoms. Their souls were exchanged multiple times, but there was zero indication about that. Not to mention the fact that she recognized the King in the 21st century instantly, but she couldn't do the same with the guy who she was in love with. Why? Because he had a tiny mask? Nonsense. The villain was ridiculous. I hate when they build up a villain who can do anything, and in the end he falls in his sword in a minute.
The best part of the drama is obviously the two main leads, Im Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun. They're not only good together but also the one and only reason this drama is watchable is them. I'm not talking about the romance only because most of the time it was cringe as hell, but they still made it work. Both of them were charismatic, fun, cute and sometimes even badass.
The story with grandma was the most impactful for me.
The OST was decent, nothing special, to be honest.
All I can say is it was fun, and it does have a rewatch value, but I think it's time for Kdrama romcom writers to forget about the time-travel because they obviously can't do it properly.

"from now on, can i call you orange?"holy moly was this series super refreshing to my brain. it's been a hot minute since i've just indulged in a harmless high school bl and boy was this a good choice!! i wanted to watch this one for a while and feel so satisfied with how it was delivered! 💚🍊

oh jeez were they cute as hell!! i thought their relationship the whole way through was just my goal in life. they were so adorable and awkward! the ko "neung" and "song" dynamic was so iconic, i loved it! ko song being smitten with ko neung from the beginning was so touching to see. my man was whipped the entire time. i am a sucker for hardcore angst so was a bit sad that we didn't really milk the angst like i hoped but it was still so freaking sad and i felt every emotion in their voices and eyes. i am super impressed with progress's diversity in acting. really reminds me of fellow gmmtv actors like book, junior, pond, auo and people like that. one minute, they're all bubbly and laughing, the next they are the prettiest crier i have ever seen #prettyboycriersupremacy. at a specific time in the series (the beginning of episode 3), there is a wide shot of ko neung and ko song outside their houses. to me, the sun coated ko neung's house in a beautiful glow but ko song's house was gloomy and cloudy. this ties into the dynamic of grumpy x sunshine - even though ko song is such a sweetheart!! i just really liked that detail because it entails dynamics like the sun and the moon WHICH THEY DO REFERENCE BY THE WAY!! i appreciate that the angst is at a minimum because they are just school kids - not any major problems occurred for them that they could sort out 💖. ko neung and song will become my new personality for the next two weeks 🍊🥹.
"am i wrong to choose my dream? this is my future" / "didn't you say i would be a part of your future?"
you know how i was just talking about how the angst was at a minimum. so, stratch that! oh, this hurt more than a bloody bullet. oh young love! i will always admire ko song for going after his dream because i have to agree, ko neung was being a bit selfish...but they made up so it's all good 😁. honestly, it is so scary to me that i might lose contact with my close friends as we grow up and navigate life so i can understand why ko neung had the reaction he did. i mean come on though, your man was going TO MED SCHOOL!! he doesn't have time to rest honey. honestly...ko song is too good for ko neung??!! like, they were super cute and first and i really enjoy ko neung's silliness and awkwardness around ko song. as it went on however, he became unnecessarily selfish and jealous (like baby, the senior is called senior for a reason...he would've been a p3dophile) and whilst honey was trying to complete, again, MED SCHOOL, he wanted to be clingy and expect the most. whoops, did i just rant a little...
but like, you see how it is an unbalanced relationship to me.
however, there was this.. 🔽

im SO FUCKING SORRY??!! i didn't even have to move my face for tears to start rolling down my face. being a schoolkid - i am willing to bet - is one of the toughest experiences of a regular person's life. oh what i would GIVE for this to be essentially redone to add in their teenage struggles and emotions. we eventually ended up with loose leads that led nowhere at the end. yes, we saw rekindlement in ko song and his dad's relationship but uhm no actual meaning talk displaying their feelings or anything. okay 👌! this scene was so good and i felt really connected to ko neung. then we never brought that side of him to our screen again. okay! i just felt like this could've been so much more! although, it definitely made me cry.
"everyone has to go on their own path to grow up."
this is a really important line to me. to me, it just summarises that everything has a meaning. everyone is different and therefore has different dreams, abilities, interests and beliefs. so therefore, people find their people but also lose people they thought were theirs. just over 6 months ago, i lost a best friend of mine. she didn't die, please oh my lord i realise how this sounds. we just grew into different people and suddenly, we didn't connect like we did anymore. this line really told my inner self "hey, it's okay! it's not your fault. it's not her fault. you're still kids, you still need to grow to understand these things". i mean, sometimes people get to 50 and still have no idea what anything means. i guarantee i will die not knowing what anything meant in the long run - or even short run. but what is the use of being born if we're just going to waste it on things and people that do not benefit us and make us happy. you can never rely on other people to guide your life. it's yours for a reason! carpe diem!!!!
anyway, this series was overall so adorable to watch! i had such a fun time with fresh faces and i wish them all the best for the future 💚. however, since it was just a quick, easy watch, i didn't feel super connected to it like i do with other things. and as i said, definitely could've been developed into something that held much more meaning had it been expanded on.
