What I Love
I love the comedy, this season it got even better. On top of that the story is way more interesting this season and I love the addition of Akafuji’s director and Haibara that cause a shake up in their relationship. Unlike previous season 2s (i.e. to my star) this show still has arcs for the old characters instead of prioritizing new ones. I especially love that the managers get more screentime and that the fujos came back. This season is so much better in my opinion and I’m in love with it.

The most interesting things was seeing the cast who were not as famous back then as they are today. Looking back now, it feels special because many of them have become some of the most popular and respected actors in Japan. Seeing their early performances in this drama gives the series an extra charm.

The new generation of students was enjoyable to watch. Each character had their own struggles, insecurities, and reasons for wanting to change their future. Their journey was inspiring because the drama showed that success doesn't come easily—it requires effort, courage, and the willingness to challenge yourself.

Abe Hiroshi once again brought strong energy as Sakuragi Kenji. His strict but passionate teaching style remained one of the highlights of the series. His speeches about education, society, and believing in yourself were still powerful, and he continued to be the heart of the story.

However, compared to Season 1, I personally felt that Season 2 was not as impactful. The first season had a stronger emotional connection because watching the original students transform felt more surprising and memorable. The struggles of the characters in Season 1 also felt more personal, making their achievements more satisfying.

this series is still a good motivational school drama with a talented cast and meaningful messages. It has many exciting moments and is worth watching, especially to see the early performances of actors who later became big stars. But for me, Season 1 still has a special feeling and remains the stronger and more unforgettable series.

The teaching methods are harsh, unconventional, and sometimes even funny, but every lesson has a deeper meaning. Instead of simply telling the students to study harder, he teaches them how to think differently and overcome their own doubts. I also loved the development of the students. At first, they were unmotivated and lacked confidence, but watching them slowly grow into determined individuals was so rewarding. Each character had their own struggles, making it easy to root for every member of the special class.

Even though the drama is about preparing for entrance exams, it never feels boring. It balances humor, emotional moments, and practical study strategies surprisingly well. Some of the study techniques may feel a bit outdated today, but the message about discipline, persistence, and self-belief is still relevant.

It's an inspiring series that proves success isn't about being naturally gifted—it's about having the courage to change yourself and keep moving forward, even when everyone else doubts you.

Brilliant

Hajime, a has been actor, and Akafuji, a rising star, both get cast as main roles in a BL drama.

What I Love
I love Hajime (and he’s BI!!!) and how he has low self esteem and confidence because he’s not as popular as Akafuji. His character felt so real and he’s someone I could relate too. Akafuji’s plot twist is amazing and changes their whole dynamic, I usually hate characters like him (i.e. my beautiful man) and a show in a show (i.e wonder man) but I became in love with him and the setup lead to a great romance. This show doesn’t have the typical tropes and the characters feel real. I love the fujo producers, I love the idol character, I JUST LOVEEEEE THESE CHARACTERS!!!

Yes there’s nothing I hate in this show. But the comedy didn’t make me laugh, I’m glad it’s here, some might find it cringy but I’m desensitized.

Nagase's inability to tell a lie often puts him in awkward positions, while Tsukishita has to deal with the chaos that follows. Their constant bickering and deadpan reactions never got old and became one of my favorite parts of the drama.

After really enjoying the first season, I went into this drama with high expectations. While it was still an enjoyable watch, I couldn't help but feel that Season 1 was stronger overall.

The biggest strength of this season is that the cast still works well together. Yamashita Tomohisa continues to be charming as Nagase, and it's nice to see how much his character has grown. The cases remain interesting and continue to deliver meaningful messages about honesty, trust, and the realities of the real estate industry.

However, compared to the first season, the story felt less fresh. Since the main concept had already been established, some episodes became a bit predictable, and the emotional impact wasn't as strong. I also felt that a few supporting characters deserved more development, as their storylines weren't as memorable this time around.

That doesn't mean Season 2 is bad—it still has plenty of heart and several satisfying moments. It's an easy and comforting drama to watch, especially if you enjoyed the characters in the first season. I just missed the sense of surprise and excitement that made Season 1 so addictive.

*Buzzer Beat* (2009) is one of those dramas that completely won me over because of the chemistry between the main couple. From their first meeting, the relationship between Naoki and Riko felt natural and easy to root for. Instead of falling in love instantly, they slowly became friends, supported each other through difficult times, and built a relationship that felt genuine.

Yamashita Tomohisa and Kitagawa Keiko had amazing on-screen chemistry. Their conversations, shy smiles, and quiet moments together were just as memorable as the bigger romantic scenes. I loved how they encouraged each other to chase their dreams while also helping each other grow emotionally. Their relationship felt healthy and believable, making it easy to become emotionally invested in their journey.

Another thing that made the drama so memorable was the soundtrack. The OST perfectly matched every emotional scene during my teenage years, making both the romantic and heartbreaking moments even more impactful. Every time the theme song played, it instantly brought out the emotions of the scene. Even after finishing the drama, I found myself listening to the songs because they reminded me of Naoki and Riko's story.

The basketball storyline also added excitement without taking away from the romance. It gave Naoki meaningful personal challenges and made his growth feel just as important as his love life. Although there were a few frustrating misunderstandings and typical romance drama clichés, they never ruined my enjoyment of the series.

Kimura Takuya and Kou Shibasaki have completely different personalities in the drama, which makes their dynamic so entertaining. He's confident, stubborn, and passionate about flying, while she's calm, serious, and doesn't let him get away with his usual charm. Their playful arguments and awkward moments made their relationship feel realistic instead of forced.

A successful businessman suddenly loses everything and has to start over from scratch. It was a fun idea, and the drama had plenty of funny and heartwarming moments that kept me entertained.

Takuya Kimura did a great job as the main character. Watching him go from someone who only cared about money and status to someone who appreciated friendship and simple happiness was satisfying. The thing I loved the most was the relationship between the teacher, Kawato, and his students. Even when everyone else had already given up on the baseball club, he kept believing in them. As a teenager, it honestly made me wish every student could have a teacher like him—someone who sees your potential even when you don't.

This one actually good.

I honestly didn't expect this movie to make me feel this emotional. At first, I thought it would just be a fun romantic comedy with a weird sci-fi concept, but it turned out to be much more than that.

The relationship between Jiro and the cyborg starts off funny and awkward, and I found myself smiling at many of their interactions. As the story goes on, though, it becomes surprisingly emotional. Even though she's a robot, I slowly became attached to her character, and I started to care about what would happen to both of them.

Haruka Ayase did an amazing job playing someone who looks emotionless on the outside but slowly reveals small signs of warmth and care. The chemistry between the two leads felt genuine enough that I could easily get invested in their story.

The movie isn't perfect. Some parts of the plot are confusing, and the time-travel logic doesn't always make sense if you think about it too much. The CGI also shows its age, but honestly, I stopped paying attention to that because I was so focused on the characters.

The ending really stayed with me. It's bittersweet, emotional, and one of those endings that makes you sit quietly for a few minutes after the credits roll. It reminded me that love isn't only about being together—it can also be about protecting someone, even if it means making sacrifices.

The song itself are MASTERPIECE !!!
The fact that she wrote this song at the age of 15, that she has continued to create numerous masterpieces since then, and that she still shines at the forefront of the music scene.

This drama beautifully tells the story of an unforgettable first love. Every episode makes me cry and brings back fond memories of the past.

The two veteran actors playing the main leads portray their characters in this story brilliantly, the same goes for their younger counterparts, displaying great chemistry and excellent character development.

This is not merely an ordinary love story. It is a tale of the hopes and dreams that two young people sincerely strive to realize. Yet, dreams do not always come true easily, harsh realities inevitably arise, and life must go on. Dealing with memory loss storyline is indeed somewhat painful, but that is simply the reality of life, it isn't always beautiful, and this is all part of the drama. All of this makes the end of the drama wholesome.

great drama with engaging storyline with mature relationship

What a pleasant surprise! I went in expecting something cringy and predictable, but I couldn't have been more wrong.

The storyline had me hooked from the very first episode. The drama follows Maeng Se Na (Choi Soo Young), a high-profile lawyer known as the "lawyer for villains," who secretly happens to be an 11-year devoted fan of the K-pop band Gold Boys. When her ultimate bias, Do Ra Ik (Kim Jae Yeong), becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, she must defend him while hiding her fangirl identity. It's a fun and refreshing concept that blends legal drama, romance, and thriller elements.

I really loved the main leads together. Their relationship felt mature and healing—they helped each other grow, and conflicts were resolved within an episode without unnecessary dragging. That was such a relief to see.

Kim Jae Yeong delivered a solid performance, capturing his character's anxious yet charming persona well. However, I wasn't entirely convinced by Choi Soo Young—her facial expressions felt a bit too consistent throughout, which made it difficult to fully connect with her character.

The thriller aspect was enjoyable, keeping me guessing who the real culprit was. But I do think the drama didn't fully utilise its potential. Towards the end, it lost momentum, and the resolution for some side characters felt rushed and incomplete.

It's a shame because I was completely invested in the beginning. Despite its flaws, I genuinely enjoyed the ride and already miss our fan and idol couple.

Verdict: A refreshing drama with an intriguing premise, great leads, and mature relationship dynamics. Let down by a rushed ending and underutilised potential, but still well worth the watch—especially if you're looking for something light yet engaging.
