Perfect comedy and romance drama 2026!

The moment I found out what this drama is about, I started counting the days until the date it would start to air! I have been desperately waiting for a contract relationship drama with monarchy existing in the modern times! I have been blown away by this new most magnificent RomCom 2026. The moment I started watching the first episode I was absolutely hooked! Suddenly, I regretted watching it while it was airing! Because it has been long while that I have watched a Korean drama while it's airing and most annoying thing about that is you have to wait a whole week for next episodes to air!😭😭😭 but I was so addicted to it that I had to watch it everyweek even if I had to face my old enemy 'waiting painfully long'. But I'm glad my pain paid off and every second of each episode was worth the watch. 💞

đŸ’«First my greatest commendation to the brilliant director for choosing most perfect and incredibly talented cast that are unquestionably suitable for this drama 💯👌. From Actresses/ actors to their secretaries to the support roles and to the villains - All the choices are chef's kiss! This drama is studded with top class actors/actresses. IU (LJE) is my very favorite actress, her dramas are my very first Korean dramas, she never fails to mesmerise, captivate and enchant her audiences with her flawless and impeccable diverse acting skills. As an ambitious chaebol Heiress SHJ, she has incorporated her naturalistic, remarkable versatility, raw vulnerability and deep emotional restraint acting style. She excelled in portraying SHJ with quite and complex emotional pain, while also showcasing a bold, campy and magnetic charisma in this diverse character-driven role. She never fails to strike the audiences with awe, with her ability to convey heavy, complex internal trauma through micro-expressions and tone of voice. I'm also thoroughly impressed with BWS's stunning, dazzling, awe-inspiring, mind blowing, astonishing and remarkable acting. He has masterfully employed his signature acting talent in this drama to bring Prince YA (LW) to life perfectly, which is defined by his impressive emotional range, subtle microexpressions, and commanding on-screen presence. He has handled the complex emotional scenes really well. He excelled at conveying the character's internal thoughts and silent suffering through subtle shifts in his eyes and facial expressions. Both main leads executed their highly complex and layered roles to the highest standards and captivated the hearts of the audiences by bringing this gem to life working very dynamically, perfectly in sync and smoothly with other characters. All the others actors also entranced me with their brilliant, dynamic and captivating acting.

đŸ’«IU has portrayed SHJ's intricate character expertly. SHJ is extremely ambitious, smart, talented, brave, rebellious and bold character, who always wants to win, to shine brightly, fights for her way without bending even an inch and always stay on top of her game. She always wears her tough, nonchalant, daring, audacious and imposing demeanor as an Armour against all the injustice, prejudice, social, and familial pressure but in reality she wants parental love, acknowledgement, care and approval. While Grand Prince YA is also incredibly smart, brave and talented character, his ambition, will and desires are shaped and molded by king's approval/disapproval, royal relatives' meddling, past traumatic events and his regard for putting well-being and happiness of others before his. He is very used to bending down to others' will and being manipulated without a word of complaint. Although both are embroiled in similar kind of childhood traumas, their way of dealing with aftereffects and consequences were different. Prince YA is epitome of perfect prince being stoic, adaptable, possesses prudence, have integrity, balances strength and empathy, is courageous, compassionate, has magnetic presence, have virtuous presentation, respect of politicians, honor, money and power in his hands. But he deliberately let's others push him around and let's it go in fovour of the happiness, protection and peace of everyone around him even though, he wants to have what rightfully belongs to him, he wants fairness, justice and wants to sort all the affairs out. However, he always held it all in, until SHJ waltzed her way into his life again and he learned to stand up for himself and to protect who and what he must and realized that keeping his head down, remaining restrained/ suppressed and quite and just working hard to fulfill his duties is not an answer to solve every problem.

đŸ’«Both main leads have insanely sweet, electrifying and crackling chemistry! đŸ”„ this incredibly fiery romance and flirting was always in the air throughout the drama. They have dazzled and gripped the audience with the waves of their strong heated push and pull. Even though the enemies to lovers is not the trope of this drama, both of them managed to build incredibly intense tension, and attraction that melted the viewers hearts, compelling them to fiercely root for them to fight for their happiness together. The audience are made to vividly experience the long journey of their love life - from them being rivals in archery and acquainted as high class students to partners who came together using contractual relationship to gain something they lacked to falling in love with each other to confessing their sincere love to bravely stepping up to protect each other even at the cost of destroying what highly mattered to them before and if it meant sacrificing their life. They are very unique in making sure to be very transparent about their needs, emotions, future plans and always resolve challenges together through effective communication, trust and reliance on each other. Their character development is also executed ingeniously well both ml's and fl's character start to change after being in relationship, learning from each other and compromising to strike that perfect balance and harmony. SHJ learned to obey rules/regulations and be humble when required and Prince YA learned to be defiant, Assertive and decisive when required for the sake of each other. Together instead of being each other's weakness they became perfect support for each other and synced in perfectly to form a perfect crown that was fortress against anyone trying to step on them and harm them.

đŸ’«Other couple which have my heart are the secretary couple CH xDHJ, who are very witty, disciplined, smart, efficient, dramatic and incredibly humorous, their love chemistry is incredibly cute, sweet and adorable. They are extremely supportive and loyal to our main couple and deserve to be the right hand people of their respective bosses. They are always protecting, supporting, fiercely caring and working hard to help their bosses to best of their abilities. There is never a dull moment with them around adding their chaotic and brilliant strategic energy to the events, challenges and situations. The late older brother king YH and the queen YIR Couple were sadly a tragic pair, our main couple are totally the opposite of this couple. SHJ didn't bow her head to her dad's whims and desires at the cost of her will, desires and dreams unlike the queen and Prince YA did not follow the footsteps of his brother and didn't become a coward to bow his head to political, royal, noble, social and nations expectations and manipulative pressure. They both magnificently pulled off what the previous king and queen failed to achieve. I also absolutely loved the dynamic of SHJ's half brother STJ and sister- in-law HAY they are very sweet pair, who turned out to be very solid support for SHJ. In dire circumstances, they have never thrown her under the bus, shown genuine concern and tried their best to help her and care for her wherever they could.

đŸ’«The story/ plot of this drama is extremely engaging, exciting, mesmerising and gripping✚. I have seen similar dramas before where the protagonists are usually nemesis or have hate/love relationship but in contrast this drama very rarely and brilliantly makes the protagonists team up to achieve their goals, making this already very unusual plot into super rare and new experience for the viewers. The humour of this drama is peak, it paired the opposites together and placed comedy in their clashing personalities and inevitable, fate-driven and also some very deliberate encounters. All the main characters have shared deep interconnectedness in the past. While primarily being romance and comedy, this drama incorporates elements from other genres like fantasy, mystery, crime thriller and slice of life. The villains in this story have done really well in portraying their characters as well, the audience are clearly shown how they have taken the wrong and evil routes/paths to fulfill their selfish desires with no regard for others feelings or their safety and wellbeing, in doing so heading for inevitable disaster or severe recompense of their diabolical, cunning, vicious and wicked actions and schemes. With the villians showing impressive amount of emotions and their back stories being very compelling, the viewers end up wishing that some of the desperate ones who went astray, find a way to redeem themselves and be happy as well. I also enjoyed the short epilouges at the of episodes revealing very interesting details . 💓

ENDING:

OMG!!! we have got the bestest and most satisfying happy ending for our main couple! LW has made a great choice in abolishing the Crown for the sake of their own future, for the royals, the nobles and the nation. I have loved how warm, close, honest and caring SHJ's family became to her while LW, his sister-in-law and the nephew are living their dream peaceful life. There is happy news of SHJ will become auntie soon. Our secretary couple also went from cute, sweet and friendly to hot streaming couple. All the villains who didn’t repent and persisted going down the wrong path for the selfish reasons, sure got what was coming for them.

đŸ’«Overall, I have wholeheartedly enjoyed this heart warming, extremely fun and exciting drama. The top notch plot and the unforgettable characters have won my heart, I am going to miss all of the amazing cast. Only bad thing about this drama is it came to an end, I really want more! So, I highly recommend it to everyone who loves romcom! 💕

An escape from reality ended under moonlight.

It's beautifully ironic how in trying to escape reality, Xiu and Zhiyu ended up finding each other instead— as well as their own selves. I truly appreciated the blend between the virtual world and reality, especially how it became a significant part of their journey. The transitions between the two made the drama feel fresh, engaging, and immediately immersive. It added a playful yet intriguing layer to the storytelling, making me curious about how the characters’ in-game personas would slowly intertwine with their real selves and emotions. And it indeed did not disappoint. It made their growth and connection feel even more meaningful.

One of the themes that hit me hardest was the conflict between practicality and passion in the first few episodes. The drama explores how people slowly drift away from the paths they once loved, either because of circumstances or inhibitions. Hu Xiu's line, “Maybe some paths, once you miss them, are hard to turn back to,” perfectly capture that bittersweet feeling of realizing life doesn’t always wait for you. Yet despite that, the drama never feels hopeless. Instead, it quietly encourages healing, rediscovery, and choosing yourself again— that made Hu Xiu more compelling, relatable, and realistic.

Lu Yuxiao’s portrayal of Xiu is genuinely wonderful. She makes Xiu feel incredibly human: vulnerable, soft-hearted, quietly strong, and easy to empathize with. I found myself emotionally affected by her struggles almost immediately. Every moment of humiliation, betrayal, or heartbreak felt painfully real because of how convincingly she carried the character. What I especially love about Xiu is that despite everything she goes through, she never loses herself completely. When she finally stands up for herself and unapologetically exposes the people who hurt her, it feels deeply satisfying because she earned that moment. She was the one wronged, betrayed, and humiliated— so watching her reclaim her voice felt empowering. What makes it even more beautiful is how, after that moment, she gradually regained her confidence and sense of self again. She always knew when and how to stand up for herself and speak her mind— firmly, yet never unnecessarily rude or hurtful toward others. Her strength lies in that quiet self-assurance and emotional maturity, which made her growth feel both inspiring and deeply admirable.

Then there’s Xiao Zhiyu, who completely stole my heart. I already knew he would fall first and I appreciate how emotionally intelligent and respectful he is. He’s clearly the type of person who says little, but feels deeply. Yet whenever he’s around Xiu, all that composure disappears— suddenly he’s smiling, giggling, sulking, and acting petty for attention. It’s genuinely adorable to watch. I love how he constantly supports Xiu in subtle ways, almost “avenging” her when she cannot openly fight back herself. His affection never feels possessive or overwhelming; instead, it feels mature, understanding, and sincere. One of the lines that perfectly encapsulates his love for her was: “She doesn’t need anyone’s approval to prove her worth, and she doesn’t need anyone’s attention to give her meaning. She exists, she grows, and she becomes who she wants to be. That alone is already beautiful enough.” If a man does not speak about me with that level of admiration, I genuinely do not want him! Chen Xingxu as Xiao Zhiyu is truly an eye candy and he perfectly portrayed him.

Their chemistry together is off the charts! Lu Yuxiao and Chen Xingxu felt so natural and intense that at times it genuinely felt like I was intruding on their private moments. Their romance develops in a way that feels effortless and convincing. They genuinely made me giggle and kicking the air— that's how good their on screen chemistry is.

The supporting cast also added so much charm and emotional depth to the drama. Xiaoru especially stood out to me. I loved how maturely she handled her failing marriage and how firmly she stood up for herself. She knew her worth and refused to settle for less, which made her incredibly admirable. Her dynamic with Gong was also unexpectedly fun— which I already saw potential even in the first episodes.

The end credits was also one of my favorite parts because of how much of full-circle moment it felt. At the beginning, it was Zhiyu greeting the players, but by the end, it becomes Xiu and Zhiyu returning to Rongcheng with their roles reversed. She becomes the NPC while he becomes the player. It perfectly bookends the story and creates this poetic sense of closure. Most especially with the fact that Zhiyu initially created “Qin Xiaoyi” as a way of clinging to who he used to be and confronting his past, but by the end, he no longer needed that persona. He finally learned to live as himself in the real world rather than hiding behind an identity tied to old wounds. That development felt incredibly meaningful.

Overall, it is such a heartfelt and comforting drama experience. The OST in particular complements the emotional atmosphere beautifully, and the cinematography enhances the warmth and intimacy of the story. It was all incredibly cozy and comforting. Truly a drama that lets you escape reality— yet it also gently remind that reality, when shared with the right people, can still be worth looking forward to.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this drama— especially because of how mature, healthy, and emotionally grounded the leads’ relationship is. Combined with the drama’s comforting and cozy atmosphere, it becomes such a warm and healing watch from beginning to end.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

To everyone who watched Duang With You and wanted to check out Your Sky just for TeeTeePor — don’t waste your time. Just watch their clips on YouTube instead.

This show is painfully boring. The story feels so poorly written that an 8-year-old could’ve come up with something better. The acting from both leads is honestly hard to sit through. Every time they speak, it feels unnatural and forced. One comes across as overly annoying, while the other is so robotic it seems like he’s just reading lines straight off the script.

The only decent part of the show is AuAuSave as the side couple, but they barely get any screen time. And of course, beautiful Por is probably the one thing keeping this show watchable.

It's one of the most beautiful stories, and even though I watched it yesterday, it still haunts me. Stories like these, not entirely precise, not entirely happy, often touch our hearts, and Soul Mate is one of them. It's a story of true soulmates who meet by chance and can count on each other in every situation, even the worst. These are two souls scarred by life who, thanks to each other's presence, experience peace, happiness, and fulfillment on new paths of life. When I feel I need the immense emotional depth the characters convey, I'll definitely watch the drama again. It's worth it.

The continuation of a very light highschool love story

İ loved the manga and the live action movie and i believe this should have stayed a movie only, not because the series is bad, this was so sweet and cute but i don't think it needed to be a whole 12 ep series cut in half with each having it's own release date.

That's just too many unnecessary steps for a very light teenager love story that needn't be this complicated.

This part is having all the juices of the story, like season one was only about the crush and how the FL started falling for the ML with the SML falling for her and so, it's only about one-sided love, and it ended where everything is arranged for their love story to begin.
No obstacles and both have already fallen for each other.

Here we start the entanglements, and we indulge more in the friendship between the two MLs.

İ don't know how much i liked this or if i genuinely like it or not, because i already love the manga and the movie and for me, watching this was just a nostalgic thing, watching love stories i used to like and relate to when i was younger.

That been said, and now that both seasons are done, i think it's a very good series for younger audience to binge-watch or simply people who loves the very light and innocent teen stories.

This is a Masterpiece you shouldn’t miss!!!

just finished watching it and I have to say it was such a pleasure to watch this masterpiece!! No wonder I’ve seen so many people talk about this dramađŸ˜đŸ€ŒđŸ» it was everything I needed after finishing pursuit of jade
and dare I say, this is just my opinion
but I loved it even more than POJđŸ˜«đŸ™đŸ» everything from the start till the end was shown so perfectly, from the friendships and their bonds to the romance between all couples
even the side characters were amazing, the villains were portrayed great as well (I really couldn’t stand them at some pointđŸ˜‚đŸ€đŸ») and of course the best thing of all was THE ENDINGđŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ» I think this is the first drama I have watched where nothing was rushed and every situation was handled so well. I was laughing, crying and felt all kinds of emotions throughout and I have to say this was one of the best dramas of all the time FOR ME!! thank you so much for reading all of thisđŸ™đŸ» if you’re still wondering if it’s worth the watch, just go for it and enjoy every second of it! Don’t drop it, wait till it catches your attention (it caught mine in just 10 mins, but everyone’s different so I had to say that) and you’ll see how wonderful this drama is !!!

Well that was a waste of time

It's so disappointing when something you've waited for for a long time turns out to be abysmal. It's one thing if this was intended to be a comedy and was carried out more intelligently. The production value ... well, there was no production value. There are better YouTube videos shot by high school students with their iphones.
I rated it as highly as I did because the actors occasionally tried. Also the musical score was cute.
And now i'm going to ramble to make the review as long as is required.
Honestly, a dog onesie as a costume for character who's supposed to shape shift.
Why is the prince wearing swim googles?

Oh, to be seen clearly beneath the wide skies.

The cinematography deserves all the praise it gets online. Almost every scene is breathtaking without looking overly composed for aesthetics alone. The camera pauses just long enough for us to take in the world around the characters, whether it is sheep moving across distant hills or the stillness of the grasslands.

What I loved most, though, was how unforced everything felt. The landscape is beautiful, yes, but the drama never treats the setting like a glossy travel brochure. Life simply unfolds there. People work, eat, argue, migrate, reconnect, and continue on with their routines. None of it feels empty because the series understands the rhythm of the place it is portraying. There is beauty in that life, alongside difficulty, isolation, and constant movement. Every moment carries texture because the world around them is lived in.

I have very little knowledge about Kazakh culture, so everything felt new. The drama presents the culture in such a raw and observant way that it almost sits somewhere between fiction and documentary, with both sides complementing each other naturally. Traditions, language barriers, and changing lifestyles are woven into daily conversations and routines. We can feel a way of life slowly shifting under modern pressures, alongside the uncertainty of whether to adapt or hold on more tightly to tradition. The series never pushes a clear judgment nor romanticizes anything either way.

I also did not expect that I'd end up liking the people, nor did I expect I'd find the journey romantic in more ways than one. Wenxiu’s experience of returning home and slowly immersing herself in a culture she once felt distant from carries its own romance. Her story could have easily turned into a familiar "city vs countryside" narrative, yet the drama wrote her journey with much more patience. We simply observe her drifting through uncertainty, writing, family, loneliness, and fleeting moments of happiness until she slowly begins seeing herself more clearly too.

The romance between Wenxiu and Batay fits just right into that journey. There are barely any scenes loudly announcing that romance is developing, yet it is always there beneath the surface. Most of their connection exists through small conversations, glances, and quiet understanding. By the time they confess, the feelings had already settled in long before either of them said it aloud.

I also liked how different yet warm her family dynamics were, especially with her mother. She carries humor, exhaustion, practicality, and affection all at once, and she steals scenes whenever she appears. Though, somehow, her mother ended up getting more scenes I would have wanted to see with the main couple, which was both hilarious and slightly criminal.

That, along with that one dramatic spin before the finale, is probably why this remained a 9.5 instead of becoming a perfect score for me. Eight episodes felt right for the story’s overall flow, and stretching it further may have weakened the atmosphere, though I still wanted more time with the main couple after they reunited.

I can also understand why this drama may not work with some. Anyone expecting a focus on romance, heavy twists or constant emotional highs might find it too understated. The drama is intentionally slow because it wants us to sit with these people and their way of life for a while. It captures that uncertain period where people are still figuring out where they belong, and how certain encounters quietly change them along the way.

Absolutely demented

Was it full of heavy-handed messages about sex education? Yes.
Was the story occasionally unhinged? Also yes.
Were there moments where I cringed so hard I thought my soul was going to leave my body? Also also yes.

Was it all worth it? HELL. GODDAMN. YES.

It pulled me in with the premise and sold me on the comedy. This is exactly the kind of absurd nonsense that appeals to me personally - it’s the palate cleanser I need after I’ve doom scrolled my way through whatever crisis is in the news today. The drama is only so-so and half of the plot could have been resolved with a 5-minute conversation, but I will forgive A LOT of flaws just to get to silly, stupid comedy slapstick with a heavy dose of romance.

Overall this one entered my rewatch list at high speed after the second episode. It’s just so much idiotic fun. Leave your brain at the door and enjoy the ride, and you’ll spend a lot of time smiling if you’re into fluffy unchallenging rom-com. The cute parts are very cute, almost everything is played for laughs, and everyone gets a happy ending.

Latte and Almond absolutely stole the show any time they were on screen together. They were so damn funny. Yes it’s all very stupid humour, but again, I was into it, and as their story progresses there is real love and affection oozing out of the screen. Their first time being an actual realistic depiction of sex, including unsexy stuff like “who is leaning on whose hair” and “accidentally head-butting the wall” made me laugh like nothing else.

Special shoutout to Almond in the Sex Education Club where he lets his intrusive thoughts win, and then picks up and wiggles the dildo around. The look on his face alone absolutely sent me.

Special sexy shoutout to Almond when Latte shows him his junk in the bathroom to prove he doesn’t have a birthmark, and you can SEE Almond’s brain short-circuiting because it’s got “I WANT THAT DICK” stuck on a loop. Great acting, 10/10.

I really appreciate the constant message that sex is fine and normal, and seeking information and exploring your own body is good. It’s heavy-handed to the point where I started calling Lookpeach the PSA Girl, but dammit if it’s not nice to have some sex positivity for a change. Even Latte, the massive ho that he is, doesn’t really get any crap for sleeping around; it’s just a known fact about him, like Peak being a programmer. As well as that, the other guys don’t give Almond any crap for being a virgin other than to reassure him that it’ll happen at some point. In fact, none of the main characters feel any shame about wanting or having sex. And that’s kinda nice when so much media out there is nothing but angst and shame and self-loathing about feeling desire. It just gives me all kinds of warm and fuzzy feelings.

A disappointment for a chinese BL

This series is like a lacorn series, too much forced drama and very black/white characters. There is also a "DEMO" version out which is double the length and while I have not seen it yet, I bet it is much needed because this version leaves a lot to be desired of.

It's also one of the few recent chinese BLs where they apply dead fish kisses, which is an automatic deduction in my book, because it kills the vibe. If you don't want to kiss, don't take the role. The acting is decent overall, Kais acting is the most convining. Production quality was also good, but the script is nothing to write home. At least it is not cringe.

Overall this is an average series, where the good parts balance out the bad parts but it's not a series I will watch again.

A Standard Plot with Boring Beats

I’ve made it to episode 12, and honestly, the domestic conflict here strongly reminds me of 'The Glory' style of plotting. You’ve got the legitimate daughter cast out because of a 'bad omen' prophecy, the villainous concubine and her children, a spineless patriarch with zero integrity, and the 'weak' primary wife.

To be fair, this type of trope is starting to feel a bit exhausting, especially when layered with the usual palace politics. Even 12 episodes in, I’m still not feeling the chemistry between the leads. I haven't quite engaged with the storyline or the main characters yet.

The only thing keeping me interested so far is the production design. The costumes and accessories, especially for the female characters, are stunning and look so beautifully crafted.

I've been ugly crying since the last episode of the series.

Right now I’m sitting with a cup of coffee, puffy eyes, and unsuccessfully trying to find a way to describe this drama without spoilers. I usually have plenty to say, but this time I realized there’s no surefire way to talk about it.

It’s so simple and complex at the same time. It’s a story that makes you think about the value of time and the profound impact one person can have on another. That pretty much sums up the entire series.

I really liked the way it was filmed. The series gives us snapshots of Narutaki Ryu’s and Hwang Jo Han’s lives — like flipping through a stack of old photos, just quick flashes of particular moments. I think it was a very smart approach for a story that spans ten years. We don’t need to see every single event to understand what they’re going through.

I loved the characters, because this isn’t just a story about their feelings, desires, and passions. No — it’s about choices, dignity, and how deeply someone can leave a mark on your soul. Don’t be fooled by the summary or your expectations: this is not a love story. It’s about two people who meet at the most difficult moments in their lives and continue walking through life together without putting a label or frame on their relationship.

As for the music, I really wanted it to be more memorable. It worked well enough as background, but I hoped for something stronger.

In the end, this show deeply affected me. I had knots in my stomach for most of it, and after finishing it this morning, I could do nothing but stare at the ceiling, absorbing everything I had just watched.
For me, that’s the sign of a truly wonderful series — one that reaches into your soul, touches your heart, and actually makes you feel.

everything that could go wrong went wrong. balled my eyes out at seven am, i wasnt even expecting to go through this lord help me. i did have a hunch it was not going to be a proper bl, some parts were predictable (that might just be me im too good at the guessing game) yet stirred my stomach as i waited for the plot to progress. overall it was good but i think the story did a 180 degree somewhere in the middle, adding a subplot which was really unnecessary. ryu's and yohan's relationship/bond could definitely use a bit of work because a lot of it felt left unsaid. first half of the show was genuinely better than the rest, i found myself crossing my fingers everytime ryu showed concern for sumiko because i so didnt want him to take over as the "father". about the ending, they did confess their love *romantically* because yohan said aishiteru, i feel like a lot of people are missing that. but even if there was no physical intimacy, the story lacked the portrayal of that strong bond for sure. it feels incomplete and perplexed. i usually enjoy watching anything even if its a little disappointing so i get why others have such strong opinions on this.

.

This should be talked about more!

I watched the trailer for this and thought it looked interesting, but omg this blew my expectations out of the water! Absolutely loved it! It was so different than I thought it was going to be in the best way. The characters were actually smart and enjoyable to watch, no time was wasted with things being dragged out, everything was answered...I just loved it. The actors all did an amazing job as well!

The show is super violent and could definitely be triggering for some. If Selfh*rm is one of your triggers, I would not recommend watching this. The show doesn't hold back on its gore aspect.

Characters:
Se A-An absolute baddie of a main character. She was so cool. She was caring, lovable, and so brave. I loved watching her. Her relationship with her friends showed how much she cares about them all. Her relationship with Geon U was so sweet. You could really feel how much they truly loved each other. I loved her chemistry with Ha Jun too I can't lie.

Geon U-Again you could see just how much he truly loved Se A and cared for his friends. He was such an adorable guy! Just had the cutest and sweetest personality. I was very happy he didn't die in the beginning of the season after he made his wish lol

Ha Jun-I think he was my favorite character to be honest. He was so smart, sweet, caring, and I just loved whenever he was on screen. I love that even though he liked Se A and had many opportunities to try to make a move on her (like when they were really close to each other in the circle) he still didn't. He didn't push any boundaries, didn't cross the line, and stayed as just a caring friend the entire time. I thought that was so respectful and quite different for a series since they were kind of a love triangle. Depends on who you ask really. I loved seeing his relationship with his brother-in-law develop too.

Na Ri-I didn't trust her from the very beginning to be honest. Her vibes were just off, and I wasn't shocked when she started shit talking her friends and even tried stealing Geon U. She was just a bad person through and through. I've seen some theories that people think she could be the next person to haunt the phone and I wouldn't be shocked at that at all.

Hyeong Uk-Even though we barely saw his character, I felt so bad for him! He didn't deserve what happened to him at all. I'm glad him and Se A were able to talk at his house before he died because I felt like it cleared up some insecurities about his friends for him. Man needed a big hug!

Bang Ui-Loved him!!! He was so funny and really brought some good comedic moments to the show. I absolutely adored him trying to get close to Ha Jun! So cute! Very glad he didn't die either because I was so worried he would. I would love another season to see more of how his power works but it's cool either way.

Ha Yeong-A true baddie! I loved her! She was so brave and was the true GOAT of the season!! I do wish they expanded a bit more on why her and brother didn't seem super close, but that's ok.

Si Won-This mf. An awful friend and an even worse person. You could tell she was shady right away and it just got worse and worse. She deserved an awful fate and I'm glad she got one. I wasn't shocked when she was the one haunting the phone rather than Hye Ryeong just because of the type of person she was.

Hye Ryeong-This poor girl!! Someone give her a hug too! I felt so bad for her over and over again. By the end I couldn't even blame her for her wish at all. Everyone was so awful to her, especially Si Won who was supposed to be her best friend. I was so angry for her. Sweet girl didn't deserve any of that.

I just loved this show so much. The plot was so well thought out. It was creepy and horrifying. I really had no issues with it all. Very easy to binge as well. I don't know if it's getting a season two, I don't think it is, but whether it does or not I loved it. I think it ended in a way that's fine to leave it where it is or could continue on. Highly recommend!
