Blink and You'll Miss It
Check in to You is one of those series that left me feeling more frustrated than disappointed. Not because it's bad.
The premise immediately reminded me of stories like Freaky Friday or It's a Boy Girl Thing: two complete opposites forced to live each other's lives after an unexpected body swap. One is cold, distant and perfectionistic, the other warm, romantic and endlessly patient. It's a familiar setup.
I devoured the first five episodes in one sitting.
What I didn't realise was that episode six would also be the last.
That was a frustrating discovery.
The series only runs for six episodes of roughly ten to fifteen minutes each, and while that makes it easy to binge, it also means the story barely has time to breathe. The body-swapping premise is cute, the actors do a good job, and there are moments where you can see the potential for something genuinely charming. But just as I started becoming invested, the series was already over.
That's ultimately my biggest issue with Check in to You. I don't think the concept is the problem, and I don't think the performances are the problem either. I simply don't think there was enough time.
The relationship develops, conflicts appear, emotions are explored, and before any of it can leave a lasting impression, the credits roll. Instead of feeling satisfied, I was left wishing the series had been given room to become more than a sketch of a good idea.
Maybe that's a personal preference. I've realised that this ultra-short format often just isn't for me. Some of these productions have genuinely creative concepts and surprisingly strong performances, but more often than not I walk away feeling like I've watched the outline of a story rather than the story itself.
And yet, I don't want to complain too much. I'm still glad these kinds of projects exist. I'd rather have creators experimenting with smaller productions and unusual ideas than not have these stories told at all.

If you have second male leads syndrome, you'll die from heartbreak and frustration.
There is nothing really intriguing about the drama except it being the purest description of love is blind. Even today I don't see what Xu Feng had that was could overshadow Runyu. I watched it purely for Luo Yunxi's acting. There have been many instances where I've questioned characters' reason for their villainous actions but the way Luo Yunxi wore his role, everything made sense. I feel like the drama failed to convince me as a viewer that Xufeng was a catch worthy of being fought for. The demon side was also not convincing and the costumes were ridiculous. I wish they had gone with getting good looking demons for that luring evil effect. Overall the costumes were too plain for Gods because I'd rather have an overdressed character than an underdressed one. I must commend the casting because they got good actors and unfortunately the characters themselves were not well constructed but it could've been worse. The music was great and even today my favorite ost is Unsullied. I don't have the heart to rewatch it and see Runyu go through that again and neither can I stand the frustration Yang Zi caused me as Jinmi so once was enough.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

A Refreshingly Real Start to an Office Romance!
As someone who has been waiting far too long for another Seo In Guk drama, I went into See You at Work Tomorrow! with high expectations—and after Episode 1, I'm relieved to say it didn't disappoint. What immediately stood out was how natural everything felt. This isn't a flashy rom-com that throws dramatic meet-cutes and over-the-top conflicts at viewers in the first hour. Instead, the episode takes its time introducing exhausted office worker Cha Ji-yoon and the everyday struggles of corporate life. The workplace setting feels authentic, from the endless deadlines to the emotional burnout that many viewers will probably relate to. Of course, the biggest highlight was Seo In Guk. He has always had a talent for making even the smallest expressions feel meaningful. His character comes across as calm and composed on the surface, but there are subtle hints that there's much more going on underneath. Even with limited screen time devoted to backstory, he commands attention whenever he's on screen. What I appreciated most was the drama's mature tone. Rather than rushing into romance, the first episode focuses on the characters' emotional states and the realities of working life. That slower approach gives the story room to breathe and makes the developing relationship feel like something worth investing in.After just one episode, it's too early to judge the overall story, but the premiere successfully hooked me. The writing feels grounded, the chemistry is already promising, and Seo In Guk's return alone makes this a drama I'm excited to follow every week. If Episode 1 is any indication, See You at Work Tomorrow! could end up being one of the most relatable workplace romances of the year.

Individually they're superiors, together they're a team
Who Rules The World remains ON TOP.The idea that Hei Fengxi appreciated Bai Fengxi since the beginning but the story didn't exclusively revolve around their love story. Their characters grew by themselves while having each other around— the best kind of growth. Individually they were superiors, together they're a team.
Amazing female empowerment, too. BFX was not just a damsel in distress, she was smart and skilled by herself, and HFX was just a support to her.
After watching several CDramas in this theme, i've never seen sun war stories (about nations, about family) be told so well. Sometimes, I come back to cleanse my palate after a terribly told political plot in another periodical CDrama.

Narcist
Drama depicting narcisistic personality disorder at main character YeFan.But first the most interesting is that, older brother in drama is playing character that is involved in scandal, over girl, that happened in drama like 8 years ago........ drama was released in 2013.....and then, same actor korean handosme guy, gets married and in 2020 is involved in real life in same scandal, over some mesages from his phone, from 8 years ago!
So Korean actor
Joo Jin Mo plays role of Qi Yuan in drama and same event happens to him 7, 8 years after that drama and he leaves acting for few years..........
Anyway , this Korean actor is sooooo hansome and atractive and manly, the most handsome in drama....
So, back to drama , younger broter SiFei is naive a victime. YeFan behave is clasic narcisistic personality disorder.
Just few examples:
She always makes QiFei guilty, when is SHE to blame! And he, because of having emotions takes blame on him, just to satisfy her and to be with her!
So from beggining it was obvious that YeFan is asking too much when she was in castle, and poor QiFei ignores all red flags. Her only goal was to find out about her sister snowflake.
She never cared about QiFei emotions for real, just using him.
In episode 17 she makes QiFei steal key from his brother of snowflake room and he gives to YeFan to enter room. She closes door, steals letters and run away in her room, not allowing to QiFei to enter lying that stomak hurts her!1!
She is lying all to QiFei from start!
Ep 22 YeFan exposed says that she seduced younger brother to destroy him, but now she is in love with him! Fact that someone can seduce someone to DESTROY him, shows brain damage, and psychopat! And all they ignore fact that she is stalker, psycho, and continue to not mention all that! Her behave is sick and everyone would trow her from house right away!
Generaly, orphans never had love of parents so i geus they are damaged for entire life.
in ep 23, they all find out that YeFans is black angel and instead to treow her out they allow her to stay in house. so script is unbeliveble......
Then older brother show her that snowflake is alive and sick and yeFan is happy, promising her that she will come oftten to help her recover .
that was her life mission to find her and now to help her!
But, QiFei broke up with her,WITH A REASON! HE FINALY REALISES THAT SHE USES HIM FOR ONE GOAL, AND WAS NOT STARTING RELATION WITH HIM BECAUSE OF LOVE BUT BECAUSE OF HER STALKING MISSION!
HE HAS 100000000% RIGHT TO BE ANGRY AND TO BREAK UP!
IT WAS ON HER TO JUSTIFY THAT SHE LOVES HIM AND TO PORVES HIM!
but no, as she is narcisistic psycho, she turnt situation in her favore, and SHE LEAVES HIM, PROVING THAT HE IS RIGHT ANDF SHE DOESNT CARE FOR HIM! SHE GOES IN CHINA because herfather passed away!
so she not planning to return, when she claimes that she loves QiFei and that she wanted to kill for snowflake, not she leaves all that , and changing life 180degree and goes in china!
classinc psycho!!!!!!
she not calling them, hidding behind some fake email sending emails just to older brother!!!!!!
so no one knows that she went because her falter passed away, she goes and makes QiFei feels guilty!!!!!!
the only thing he was guilty is that he didnt charged her phone! nothing else in drama!!!!!!
everything else was HER stalking and psycho behave!!!!!!
then,
yefan is back in china , with no remorose what she done to sifei, she even can start new relationship with rich guy hanli! she sits with him laughin on table, not even thinking that she owns something to snowflake or to sifei , when she left them all with no words!!!!
psycho narcisist.......
unfortunalety, poor sifei, because of his emotions, lying him self that she is batterfly hiding her emotisons.
hidding my ass!
uf she really loved sifei she would never be able to just go away in china, after he discovered that she was just using him!!!!
but poor poor sifei, loves her, and he now dedicating his life to her, and INSTEAD SHE TO PROVE HER LOVE TO HIM, AS SHE USED HIM FOR SICK PSYCHO GOAL TO REVENGE HER SISTER SNOWFLAKE, NOOOOO SHE TWISTED SITUATION, ( BECAUSE SHE DOESNT LOVE SI FEI) AND NOW HE STAYS IN CHINA TO PROVE HIS LOVE TO YEFAN!!!!!
his love was never a problem!!!! but he takes guilt , even ITS WAS HER GUILT WHY SI FEI BROKE UP WITH HER IN FRANCE!!!!!
SO now poor sifei takes guild, as he done something wrong, and he proves his love to her, because she is narcisistic psycho, who cant actualy love for real!
now she, after admiting that she is black angel, after admiting that she aproached sifei to destroy him, now she continues to play with him, using HanLi, pretending that he is good opponent and she will mary him!!!!!
so mary him bi ch, its what every normal man would say, sell your a s s to him.
but no, poor sifei begging her, to not be with HanLi, and begging one psycho female to love him!!!!
to the moment when in episode 38 , poor sifei desperate gealous on psychos game with HanLi kisses psycho female Yefan, in front of HanLi and psycho YeFan SLAPING HIM IN FACE!!!!!!
only then his brain comes from balls in head and he get hummiliated too much and goes, in hotel packing thing to go on tibet.......
when psycho Yefan finds out, that her poor toy will leave, and she will not have opponen to hanLi , she runs in hotel to Sifei, to stop him to not leave!!!!!
not because she loves him, but her ego needs some animal to torture to prove her that she is very popular and to feed her narcisist ego!
but poot Sifei is not psycho, he has pure emotions toward her, so he falls right away, no games, he says he will stay, if she wants!
and that is when psycho female yefan, gets ego feeded, and she turns , to say that still she will not be with him but just stay!!!!!
poor sifei AGAIN ADDMITING WHAT IS NOT HIS FAULT, AND HE SAYS, ITS HIS FAULT THAT HE KISSED HER IN FRONT OF HAN LI, SO THAT WHY POOR NARZI PSYCHO YEFAN HAD TO SLAP HIM!!!!!!
CLASIC GASLIGHTING BY NARZI PSYCHO YEFAN!!!!!
SO again yefan feeds her ego and continues to play with both hanli and sifei, and they dont call her slut, for whayt she is!
then in episode 43 , psycho Yefan, after poor sifei invests so much money and life to be with narzi yefan in shanghai, they return from some violine practice, and she wasnt satisfied WITH HER SELF PLAYING, nad she is yelling in car, while poor sifei drives car, that he rented only for driving narzi psycho yefan, she is yelling in car while he drives, and tries to OPEN DOR OF CAR WHILE HE DRIVES AND NEXT THING POOR SIFEI HITS MAN ON ROAD!!!!!!
so poor sifei being distracted by narzi female, not sits in jail!!!!!!
and it was setup also because of slut who plays with hanli and with sifei in same time!!!!!
so poor sifei was set up this accident, because of that sl ut......
then again, narzi yefan puts her hand to be broken, ep 47 and ofcouse, AGAIN ITS FAULT OF SIFEI AND HE NEEDS TO JUSTIFY HIM SELF AND TO PROVE HIS LOVE AND DEDICATION, AND TO TAKE GUILT FOR THAT SO PSYCHO YEFAN WOULD BE WITH HIM!!!!!!
so psycho narzi yefan, from episode where she admited she is black angel and using sifei to destroy him and find out about snowflake, from that moment, SHE WAS OBLIGATED TO PROVE HIM THAT SHE LOVES HIM TRUELY!!!!!
BUT SHE NARZI PSYCHO, DOING ALL TO PROVE THAT SHE DOESNT LOVE HIM, WHILE TWISTING SITUATUON AND POOR VICTIM MUST TAKE ALL GULT AND PROVE HER HIS LOVE, EVEN HIS LOVE WAS NEVER QUESTIONABLE!!!!!!
SO TILL END OF DRAMA, SHE NEVER EVER PROVED THAT SHE LOVES SIFEI, NEVER DONES ANYTHING TO PROVE THAT SHE LOVES HIM, AFTER ALL SHE DONE IN FRA=NCE TO USE HIM FOR OWN GOALS,
BUT VICTIME, SIFEI PROVING HER HIS LOVE ,
IT WAS NEVER HIS GUILT, AND HE TAKES ALL GULT!!!!
AND THAT IS HOW NARZI PSYCHO TYPES AS YEFAN OPERATING!!!!!
also sifei older brother, pushubg him to be with psycho, and that was really bad advice, bbaaaaad advice, but his brother wa salso manipulated and not very smart, to choose to abandon his life because of some sick female in wilechairs......

A True Desert Adventure Magical Masterpiece - Asian Version of Indiana Jones Meets Lara Croft
A man found a woman hanging by her neck from a bare tree. He was about to steal her things when she woke up and killed him instead. This is Ye Liuxi, a woman with unknown identity and scattered memories she could not make head and tails of. She had a bag with her, and in it were clues that led her to Chang Dong, a desert guide with a tarnished reputation after an expedition he led turned into a sandstorm disaster with him coming out of the desert as a sole survivor. With Chang Dong’s friend Fatty Tang a materialistic antique appraiser, along with Ding Liu the heir of a desert tomb-raider gang and Gao Shen her bodyguard, they ventured into the desert back to the exact place where Chang Dong lost his last expedition team. Each came along with various objectives, Ye Liuxi to find her origin, Chang Dong to bring back the bodies of the Camellia expedition team which includes his fiance, Fatty Tang to get his hands on the antique in Ye Liuxi’s possession the Sheep Horn Goblet, Ding Liu to bring back her godfather’s friend’s body, only to find themselves caught in a deeper mystery and conflict of a dystopian-like parallel world. This is waaaaaaaaay beyond my expectation. I have seen many tomb raiding-desert-adventure action chinese flicks but none really came close to this, I have dropped many due to boring introduction, uninteresting characters with the plot going too dang slow. It is a total opposite with Parallel World. Not only does it has stunning cinematography, the plot is very engaging and each character is unique with a certain appeal that keep enticing the audience for more. The breathtaking beauty of the desert view only made it even more intriguing. The modern meets magical-ancient world made the story unique and extraordinary. Here they have laptops and computers with Ding Liu constantly taking selfies on her smartphone, and the next moment we could see magical creatures, sorcerers and armored soldiers using arrows and shields. It has such amazing characters and plot I could not believe this show never came across my line of sight before this. You can see why this show is so good when you see the supporting roles being filled by actors who are now big stars of the industry. From Li Yunrui to Meng Ziyi, Chen Duling, Lu Yuxiao and Xia Meng, theyre all making their mark as idol stars now.
I first saw Ni Ni in Love and Destiny so many years ago, and i thought she looks very ordinary with small slanted eyes and very much the usual chinese look. But when I saw Parallel World, I realised why people has been calling her a beauty. She really is stunning in Parallel World I barely recognized her as Ling Xi from Love and Destiny. Her freakishly badass and brilliant character only made the story more appealing and interesting. She really fits the badass role more than the gentle and demure one like she did in Love & Destiny. Ye Liuxi went through great character growth from being hardheaded and selfish to loyal and upright towards the end.
Although Bai Yu isnt extraordinary looking like most idol stars I know, he is still handsome in a class of his own. His bearing as Chang Dong is something that grows on you. Chang Dong is the type of guy who stands for no nonsense, it’s either he goes for it or not at all. He knows what he wants and he would do everything necessary to achieve his goal. You could not go wrong when you finally gets on his good side as he is very loyal and trustworthy. I love the chemistry between Baiyu and Nini, they look good with each other and isnt cringe-worthy at all.
I totally love Xia Meng’s Ding Liu here. She looked tough and crass in the first part of the show, but this mask is ripped once she is comfortable with her surroundings. She gets cheeky and cutesy every now and then but I could never find her annoying like I did with similar characters in other shows. Best of all, I finally get to see the work of Wang Deshun, the famous 80yo Grandpa with muscles that once been called the Hottest Grandpa in China after walking shirtless in Beijing Fashion Week in 2015.
And lets not forget Valley and Ocean Guardian! OMG the idea of having chickens as opposed to the usual cat or dog as pets is out of this world. The novel writer is so damn creative if they picked this up from the novel, but if this character isnt in the novel then mannnnn the screenwriter is so brilliant and creative. The chickens didnt look robotic or cartoonish too. I like the effort they put on the chickens, cuz they carry their own characters really well with Valley Guardian being the coward troublemaker and Ocean Guardian as the brave and reliable from the duo, and they really add colours and work magic into the show.
The action is so good, although you won’t see typical forms like in wuxia. It’s totally streetfight, ensuring the main characters to suffer injuries like their enemies do. I love the bit about magical beasts that could transform into people and imitate others, cuz everyone who had to play the impersonated persona did really well at portraying different personalities in one character.
I was dumbfounded when I saw the chats saying this is slow paced. Then I realized theyre all looking from the romance angle, so yeah, when it comes to romance it is really slow burn, but come on! The whole genre of the show is action-adventure. For an adventure-type show, Parallel World is fast paced! Honestly this is truly one of those shows I could not find much flaws because of how good they are. Even if they had plotholes, you somehow won’t notice it or it gets drowned by the rest of unexpected plot twists, unless you really mean to nitpick of course. If youre an action fan, then this is definitely going to make it to your favourite shows list.

This is not just about romance its about friendship and having second family
I love this drama so much. Cause it had great plot, very sweet characters, such a great chemistry between leads. Yes there are some flaws, especially at the end of the series cause i think they tried to make it longer by creating some unnecessary drama. But it still doesnt change how i feel about this show. It was fluffy, warm story about chosen family. Except Xing Wu and his mom everyone in this family chosen to stay together. Not because of they are related by blood its because they chosen to be together. I loved their bond I loved how the main focus was never romantic love. Ml and fl had become each others family at some point. And then it developed from there and evolved to something romantic. If you want to watch drama about friendship, chosen family and romance this is the drama. Im givin 8/10 overall. I just think the 5 year gap thing was so out of character for both of them. And 5 is too much come on...Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Amazing!
I started this show after putting it off for a long time, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. The actors did an amazing job. Whether it was for a funny scene, a heartbreaking scene, or a romantic scene. I loved it all. I think that they were perfect for their roles, as they all acted as their characters so well.
This is actually my first time watching something with Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hyeyoon (separately). I knew about them and knew that they're loved by many, so I had a feeling that this show would be good. Glad it turned out to be much better than "good". Also, I think that the producers/ director made a good choice by casting those two together. I honestly felt every emotion they portrayed. The love they had for each other felt so real that I really considered the possibility that they might've been crushing IRL lol. I will definitely check out their other dramas as well.
The side characters were really funny, and I enjoyed every little weird thing they did. They made me laugh a lot more than I'd like to admit. When Im Sol's brother and friend started to do aegyo with each other, I cringed so HARD haha.
Although the grandmother didn't make me laugh as much, she definitely surprised me. I know that actors are supposed to be able to play multiple characters with different personalities, but the fact that she played the same person but differently (pre-dementia and post-dementia) made me respect her a lot.
The bad guy wasn't always there, which I think I like better than them being in every episode for longer than they should be. He was a little mysterious and ominous, which I quite liked. He didn't act like some super villain with the biggest ego. Instead, he was tricky but still careful with his actions. For the record, I'm not praising the character lol, but rather the actor. He did really well.
At first, the whole time travel and different timelines made sense. But in the end, when Im Sol went back to erase herself from Sunjae's life, I had a few questions.
For starters, how did Sol's brother and friend still end up together? In the original timeline, they weren't together. They only started to have feelings for each other because Sol and Sunjae got closer when she went back in time. But then she changed the past by making sure he never met her. So how did they catch feelings again?
Second, Im Sol's mother's hand. Again, in the original time, it was different since her hand had a big scar on it from the fire, but Im Sol prevented that. How did her mother's hand come out perfectly fine in the final timeline? Did Im Sol go back again?
Lastly, how did Im Sol stop her own accident from happening? She tried a couple of times before but failed. So what changed this time for her to be perfectly fine in the end?
I actually have a few more questions, but I will keep them to myself.
In conclusion, this show is complicated in a good way. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but this show warmed my heart and left me with a big smile on my face. I loved it so much and would absolutely watch it again!

A surprising drama…
When I first watched this, I had no idea who the actors were. I just clicked it because it was New Year and I was home and had nothing to do. Before that, I did debate because I had never watched Xianxia dramas before. I never liked how fantasy looked when it comes to chinese drama, but oh wow. Going in without expectations was the best thing that ever happened to me. At first, I only loved Lu Yuxiao’s role, Ming Yi. I wanted to know what she would do and what Hou Minghao’s Ji Bozai would do once he found out about her secret identity. The more I watched the more intrigued I became of Ji Bozai and kept watching til the end because of their unique acting, the angst, the comedy, the music (which I didn’t expect that my fave song was actually sung by jbz himself) and the chemistry. I have to admit though… Ming Yi did stress me out halfway. I kept shouting at the screen “girl just tell the truth!” But anyways, I kept watching as I felt bad for jbz lol. The good thing is… I could at least really feel that she loved ji bozai just as much as he loved him. They were both equally strong, equally devoted, and equally willing to live and die together. I’ve seen other dramas where it felt one-sided. Plus, there were both likeable characters, even as solo characters. I really rooted for them. So… that said… For 2026, this was my hidden gem. 1000000/10. In the end, I finished it in two days. With maybe two hours of sleep in between. I probably didn’t even eat.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

It gives off a vibe similar to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, but feels even more fulfilling.
We can feel that the female lead is fragile on the inside, while the male lead is incredibly strong.I love the scene where the female lead cries over her friend’s passing, and the male lead comforts her by saying she doesn't have to maintain high standards for everything. This ties back to how she holds such high standards in her service business; when it comes to grief, you don't need to overthink whether it's time to stop feeling sad. If people are sad, they should just let themselves feel it.
He doesn't expect anything and doesn't hold her back, but that doesn't mean he doesn't miss her or isn't waiting. He is waiting quietly, without putting any pressure on her.
