A Slow-Burn Drama That Actually Earns Its Warmth

I was not intending to watch this, but thought why not, and I am glad I did. It is exactly the kind of drama I enjoy, a character-driven drama about a man who has mastered emotional distance. Do Ji-ui is a polished Seoul plastic surgeon who is suddenly assigned to a remote island clinic through the public health doctor program. The premise is familiar, but the execution is gentle and sincere. The drama lets the island slowly dismantle Ji-ui’s defenses instead of forcing a quick transformation.

The plot blends humor, medical cases, and a quiet mystery surrounding the island. The real focus is Ji-ui’s internal journey. The ocean terrifies him. The island frustrates him. The villagers disarm him. The clinic nurse, Yook Ha-ri, becomes the person who challenges him to confront the parts of himself he has avoided. The pacing is steady and unhurried. Small moments carry emotional weight. A shared meal, a misdiagnosis, a ferry ride, a conversation at sunset. The mystery elements add to the tension without overshadowing the emotional core of the story.

The Characters
Do Ji-ui is written with such restraint. He is not the typical cold male lead. He is someone who has built his identity around competence and control. The island strips both away. His trauma around water is handled with nuance, and his growth feels earned. I must say Lee Jae-wook delivers a grounded performance as Ji-ui with quiet tension. His posture, his eyes, his pauses all communicate a man who is constantly bracing himself. When he softens, it is subtle. When he breaks, it feels earned.
Yook Ha-ri, on the other hand, is the emotional anchor of the drama. She is warm without being naive. She is competent without being hardened. Her past is revealed slowly, and it reframes her kindness as a deliberate choice. She is not there to heal Ji-ui. She is there to challenge him and to stand beside him. Shin Ye-eun, in this role, brings a natural warmth to Ha-ri. Her performance is understated, which I believe is intentional, and that is why it works so beautifully. She lets emotional beats land without forcing them.

The chemistry between the leads is a slow burn, but it works. It grows through shared silences and small gestures rather than dramatic declarations. It feels adult and sincere.

The Islanders, well, the supporting cast as Islanders, give this drama its texture. They are stubborn, funny, flawed, and deeply human. They have their own conflicts and loyalty. Their presence makes the island feel lived in and believable. They are not props for the leads. They are part of the world that shapes Ji-ui’s transformation.

I think the reason this drama resonates with me is its message: healing is not a single breakthrough. It is a series of small, uncomfortable steps toward connection. I love how the writer, director, and actors shaped the island as a metaphor for the parts of ourselves we avoid. The memories we bury. The fears we rationalize. The relationships we keep at a distance. Ji-ui’s journey is not about becoming a better doctor or a better man. It is about learning to stay. In a place. In a relationship. In his own life. The show also highlights the gap between urban and rural healthcare. It reminds us as viewers that dignity and care should not depend on geography.

What I love about this drama is that it isn't loud and does not need to be. It does not rely on shock twists or exaggerated conflict. It trusts its characters and its emotional honesty. It is the kind of story that lingers because it is sincere. So, if you enjoy character-driven narratives, slow-burn romance, and stories about emotional reclamation, this drama delivers beautifully.

A splendid watch

I really loved it. I’m probably biased, but I can’t help it. Main leads had so much chemistry and great relationship, this helped show so much. Parents are frustrating of course. Jinzhao was such a good character, fun, girly, so smart and strong. Lord Chan was intelligent masculine, reserved and confidant man. l loved how they married because of love. last couple of episodes were terrible pased and really needed ending showing somethings they had in novel, so that was disappointing, but considering I have already rewatched it twice I have to give it high score in my list.

THE CHEMISTRY!!!

SailubPon have chemistry here like I never seen before. The tension was so good, there were several scenes that left me gasping for air. While them main couple has fantastic chemistry and a fun story, I also need to mention the side couple. They are just adorable. Personally, I love a good entitled, rich boyfriend trope. Benz really delivers those bratty rich boy vibes that make his sweet moments all the more memorable.
The NC scened are nicely shot and super hot. They definitely broke many heath code violations lol. I recommend this show to fans of other change2561 shows and BL fans in general. I had a really great time watching it.

A relationship built on lies & manipulation

The whole plot of this series revolves around lies and manipulation, with a whole lot of fortune-telling and feng shui overlaying it.

I'm not going to say this series is a waste of time, but I will say that it was incredibly disappointing. I'll go into more detail later, but the writing for this series is so flimsy that I'm convinced that this was the screenwriter's first time writing a script.

THINGS I LIKED

* The acting was great. It was a lot of these actors' first role, and they honestly killed it. Sadly, good acting can only save a show so much.

* The only part of the plot I liked was when Ritt didn't get back together with Itt just because he got hurt trying to "save" him. That happens way too many times in drama series, and sometimes it's fine to do that, but like in this series, it made sense for Ritt not to forgive him because at this point every step of their romance has been built on lies and manipulation, and Itt risking himself doesn't solve those issues.

* Using rune stones for fortune-telling is different.

* NC scenes were surprisingly okay. The actors have good chemistry together.

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE
(90% of these things can be chalked up to lazy writing)

* The actors for Pure and Itt looked so much alike that I got them confused a couple of times. Not for a few seconds either, but sometimes minutes. This was probably just a me problem, but it was still annoying.

* Someone needs to tell the writers that Fortune-telling and Feng Shui can not be a person's entire personality.

* Even if you love someone, you shouldn't pretend to be someone you're not just to be with them. Ritt has the excuse that he was drunk and not thinking clearly when he told the lie, but he should have cleared things up as soon as he got sober.

* Was Pure trying to turn Ritt into an alcoholic? He was drinking so much that I have no idea how he remembered anything. Honestly, this was a small example of lazy writing because he really shouldn't have been able to remember everything.

* Pure honestly wasn't a good friend.

* Can we go back to the time when, if a character wanted to pretend to have beaten or kidnapped someone, they have real footage or at least have made it so the said person is busy and unable to answer the phone? Or manipulate the person to the location to falsify evidence against them? I've only watched a couple of series where they pull this "it was faked with AI" bullshit, and yes, it shows the dangers of AI, but at the same time you can't rely solely on that to move the plot forward. It just makes the characters look stupid for falling for it, and in this case also Pure for thinking Itt is pulling a "Ritt was kidnapped" scheme to what? Make up with Ritt? Does that make any sense at all? This whole scene was just to deal with a blackmailer that honestly played such a small role in the story that he could have been written out completely, and they could have just had Ritt's guilt slowly eating at him until he couldn't take lying anymore, only to then discover that everyone around him had been lying to him.

* Ritt has no right to play the victim after learning that Itt knew he was lying the whole time. He had no reason to snap like that. He should have just said sorry and explained why he did it. It's only after Pure reveals that he had known for a while, and that Itt and Phitcha had known the whole time, that he had the right to be mad and hurt. Because let's be honest, Itt pretty much set him up to tell the lie in the first place and then manipulated things so that they had to have a fake marriage, live together, and go on a trip together. He also had everyone around him and Ritt in on the scheme as well. So to me, Itt was the worst of these two, and I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if they hadn't gotten back together.

* They showed the same scenes from Ritt and Itt's past multiple times with little added.

* They had Itt say at the end that he wanted to start over without any lies between them when he manipulated things to get Ritt to the event in the first place. At this point, it felt like Ritt gave in to get Itt to stop, more than him being willing to give them another try. At this point, basically their whole relationship had been built on a lie, so how do you know when the lying stops? Itt's a red flag & everyone is color blind.

* LAZY WRITING! Everything written above for starters, but also the characters have no real personality or growth. The story focused so much on the fortune-telling and Feng Shui that there wasn't any room for either. They decided to add these things instead of building up good foreshadowing or tension, and defaulted to "let's just use AI". We only see Ritt struggling internally about his lie for the first couple of episodes and then again after he's being blackmailed. If Ritt's victim speech had to happen, they could have used better dialogue instead of making the audience completely unable to be sympathetic toward him. Some sympathy was possible because Itt did a lot more lying and manipulating. Itt supposedly tried to get Ritt to tell him the truth when really, after their first date, he didn't at all. Itt also used the excuse that he wasn't brave enough to hit on Ritt, but for some reason he had no problem lying to and manipulating him into dating him.

This series had potential.

The Long Goodbye We Call Healing

Supernatural dramas often promise magical worlds. Fairyland Lovers offers something much quieter instead.

At its heart is Bai Qi, a mysterious spirit doctor who helps supernatural beings free themselves from the obsessions preventing them from moving on. Joined by the warm-hearted Lin Xia, what begins as a collection of seemingly independent supernatural cases gradually unfolds into a story about grief, redemption, love, and the quiet burdens people continue carrying long after life has asked them to set them down.

There was something almost nostalgic about that simplicity. Modern dramas increasingly ask us to solve puzzles, anticipate betrayals, search every conversation for hidden clues, and prepare ourselves for the next shocking revelation. Fairyland Lovers asks something much simpler. It simply asks us to feel.

Every spirit Bai Qi encounters carries a different obsession, yet none of those obsessions feel particularly supernatural. They are recognizably human: love that refuses to fade, guilt that lingers for years, promises left unfulfilled, and people unable to forgive themselves or say goodbye. As the series progresses, it quietly reveals that Bai Qi himself is carrying the oldest obsession of them all. His journey toward healing others gradually becomes a journey toward healing himself, and I loved how naturally those two ideas became inseparable.

Bai Yu`s Bai Qi is charismatic without trying too hard, quietly confident, occasionally arrogant, yet deeply compassionate beneath the surface. What impressed me even more, however, was Hei Qi. Although the two characters share the same face, they never once feel like the same person. Through subtle changes in posture, expression, voice, and emotional energy, Bai Yu creates two entirely distinct personalities.It's the kind of performance that never loudly announces itself, yet quietly reminds you how much acting can be accomplished through the smallest details.

Zheng Qiuhong deserves just as much praise. Lin Xia could easily have become one of those endlessly curious heroines whose enthusiasm gradually turns into irritation. On paper, there are certainly moments where she risks feeling overly nosy or impulsive. Yet Zheng Qiuhong brings so much sincerity, warmth, and natural charm to the role that those very qualities become endearing rather than exhausting. Another actress might have made the character difficult to like. She somehow makes Lin Xia feel wonderfully real.

The drama understands that healing rarely happens through sadness alone. Gentle humour, quiet romance, and moments of everyday warmth are woven naturally between the heavier themes, allowing the emotional weight to breathe instead of becoming oppressive. That rhythm of laughter followed by quiet reflection felt remarkably close to life itself.

As we grow older, I sometimes think it becomes harder to be profoundly moved by sadness. Life quietly teaches us how to protect ourselves. We learn to filter certain emotions just enough that they don't overwhelm us, and we keep moving forward.

What stayed with me about Fairyland Lovers is that it occasionally slips past those defenses without relying on emotional excess. Hei Qi's helpless trembling after Lin Xia is stabbed, the quiet reconciliation beneath the tree, or Bai Qi standing with two cans of beer while pretending to be far more composed than he truly is. None of these scenes depend on dramatic speeches or manipulative music. Instead, Bai Yu allows helplessness, relief, resignation, and love to coexist in the smallest gestures. The drama trusts silence just as much as dialogue, and those restrained moments become its most memorable.

The episodic structure was another pleasant surprise. Rather than feeling like filler between the main storyline, nearly every individual case stands comfortably on its own while quietly enriching the larger narrative. The supporting cast is consistently strong, making it remarkably easy to become invested in characters who may only remain for a single episode. At the same time, the central mystery continues moving forward without ever making those individual stories feel disconnected from the whole.

My biggest reservation is that the drama occasionally becomes a little too content with its own quiet rhythm. That gentleness is part of its charm, but it also means that not every episodic story leaves an equally lasting impression. A handful could have been condensed, and there were moments when Bai Yu's nuanced performance seemed to carry scenes further than the screenplay itself. The result is a drama that is consistently sincere and emotionally rewarding, even if it never quite becomes as unforgettable as it had the potential to be.

"Waiting for a flower to bloom, waiting for someone to return."

Waiting is such a curious word. Sometimes the person returns. Sometimes they don't. Yet having someone worth waiting for already carries its own quiet beauty. There is something deeply comforting in that thought, and I think Fairyland Lovers understands it remarkably well.

If you find yourself drawn to quieter stories that value emotional sincerity over constant spectacle, I think Fairyland Lovers has something quietly beautiful to offer. It isn't really a story about spirits.It's a story about people. About the things we carry. About the people we wait for. And about the quiet hope that, one day, we might finally learn to let go.

I LOVE Time Travel love story and reincarnation.

Nakun is a great character, he is so lovable and funny. I really love him.
What I love the most is Kaew and Nakun's relationship. They do really care for each other. And tbh, Kaew is my favorite character.

How they treat homophobia was intresting. I almost cry for Roong and Boribanpracha.
I understand Pim, and sorry but she did not deserve what happen to her. She only tried to haave a good life.

Net and JJ got some fucking strong chemistry. LatteKim too tbh. + I was shy when I was watching their and LatteKim's love scene.

My favorite moment was when Nakun comeback in his own time line and learn what everyone became in this life time. And obviously his yearning for Phop.

THIS... This drama is a masterpiece. ☀️☀️☀️

It only took a few episodes for it to become one of my favorite dramas of the year—if not of all time (right next to The First Frost and Hidden Love).

This is peak romance. Every hopeless romantic should watch it. I genuinely believe you'll fall in love with it.

I didn't think it was possible to love a fictional character this much, but... Lu Xixiao, I love you so much. 😭 And Zhou Wan... I love you too.

This drama made me so happy. Everything was perfect—the romance, the OST, the characters... just everything.

"Every time you appear, you're like a rainbow. You bring color to my dull life." oh my Zhou Wan... you fell FIRST 😭😭😭

I also highly recommend the variety show Blazing Summer. It feels like watching their dating era, and it made me love them even more. ❄️❄️❄️

Great Performances, But I Never Fully Connected with the Leads

A Splendid Match is a well-made drama with strong performances, beautiful production, and an enjoyable story overall. You can clearly see how talented both lead actors are, and I thought they did an excellent job bringing their characters to life.

That said, I never really warmed up to either of the main characters. It’s not because of the acting—in fact, I thought both actors were brilliant—but I just didn’t find myself emotionally connecting with their personalities. Because of that, I wasn’t as invested in their romance as I had hoped to be.

The supporting cast helped keep the drama enjoyable, and there were plenty of entertaining and heartwarming moments throughout. The story flowed well, and I appreciated the balance between lighter moments and the more emotional scenes.

Overall, this is still a solid drama that is worth watching, especially if you enjoy historical romances. It just didn’t completely click with me on an emotional level because I never formed that attachment to the main couple, and for me, that’s often what makes a good drama become a great one.

Sometimes a drama can do almost everything right, but if you don’t fall in love with the main characters, it’s hard to fall completely in love with the drama itself.

O que mais gostei nesse drama é que, apesar de toda a turbulência, das dificuldades, dos conflitos e até da pouca idade dos protas na primeira fase, eles demonstram uma maturidade muito bonita. De primeira, podem parecer infantis, mas acredito que essa fase entre a adolescência e o início da vida adulta é justamente um momento em que estamos aprendendo a lidar com os nossos sentimentos. Na verdade, passamos a vida inteira aprendendo sobre eles, né?

Ter uma protagonista que não abaixa a cabeça para ninguém foi um dos grandes pontos positivos para mim. Talvez porque estejamos acostumados com tantas protas sonsas, que vivem naquele “não me toque” e parecem nunca saber o que querem. Ela é completamente diferente. Entrega autenticidade, personalidade e determinação. Ela sabe exatamente pelo que está lutando e não tem medo de correr atrás disso. Mesmo quando a história tenta fazer parecer que ela é uma pessoa difícil ou até egoísta, eu consegui entender completamente as motivações dela.

Da mesma forma, também entendi nosso prota (lindo demais). É bonito ver como ele sempre se permite quando ela está por perto. Existe uma atração muito forte entre os dois, e acho que acima de tudo, existe uma confiança que torna o relacionamento ainda mais especial. Acho que foi justamente isso que mais me conquistou, a confiança. Um compreendia a dor do outro. Mesmo cercados por mal-entendidos, conflitos familiares e inúmeros obstáculos, eles nunca deixavam de se importar. O cuidado que demonstravam um pelo outro, mesmo nas entrelinhas, era perceptível e extremamente bonito, juro. Ele cuidando dela é a coisa mais linda de se vê.

O único ponto que me incomodou um pouco foi o salto temporal pois achei exagerado e na minha opinião, não precisava ser tão longo. Um intervalo menor teria permitido que aproveitássemos mais o desenvolvimento do relacionamento deles. Ainda assim, isso não prejudicou a história. Pelo contrário, a volta deles foi bem construída e mostrou que algumas coisas realmente acontecem no momento certo.

Também gostei do fato de que o drama nunca perdeu o ritmo. Todos os episódios se conectam muito bem, sem parecer que há partes desnecessárias. Vi algumas pessoas comentando sobre pontas soltas, mas, sinceramente, não senti isso. Para mim, tudo foi explicado de forma natural. O caráter de cada personagem ficou evidente pelas próprias atitudes, tanto na frente quanto por trás dos outros e isso basta pra deixar tudo muito entendido, pelo menos pra mim.

O romance é TUDO!!!!! Ele está presente do começo ao fim da história. Mesmo com às brigas, às diferenças e aos conflitos, o sentimento entre eles nunca deixa de existir. O amor aparece através do respeito, da confiança, do cuidado e da preocupação genuína que um demonstra pelo outro. Em vários momentos eles poderiam simplesmente virar as costas e seguir em frente, mas escolhem permanecer porque o sentimento fala mais alto e isso é um DELÍCIA de assistir!!!

A Gem That's Worth Every Episode

Since I'm rewatching once again, I decided to stick this here as my first real review.

Don't let the episode count scare you. They fly by especially once you hit the middle section of the show. This drama was absolutely amazing and is probably in my top three Chinese dramas, and is in my top five favorite shows overall. I almost didn't watch it but I'm so glad I did. There's something to be said about a show that isn't afraid to really build up the characters. Watching Minglan and Ting Ye grow separately made them coming together much more rewarding, and it helped you understand why they experienced conflict with each other and strengthened each other. The cast of characters is outstanding, especially Minglan's family. Their scenes are impactful and often funny too.

Minglan is quiet and clever with a subtle sense of humor. She's honestly quite introverted and reserved, especially when it comes to love (which makes so much sense considering her home life) but has a spine of steel and isn't afraid to get down when it comes to things she cares about. I've yet to see any other FL like her. I liked that you got to really see how Minglan's upbringing shaped her as a person, which a lot of dramas really don't do to the extent that this show does. All the household conflicts that she experiences are not just petty trifles and filler. They're teaching moments that really end up aiding her in the future.

Ting Ye is outgoing, boisterous, and transparent about his feelings. I actually didn't like Ting Ye much in the beginning. He wasn't necessarily awful, but I wasn't impressed with his character at first. And that turned out to be one of my favorite things about this show. I greatly respect that they weren't afraid to show him failing. So many dramas have MLs that are almost inhumanely perfect. They're always the smartest person in the room who is always ahead of everyone and rarely makes mistakes. But Ting Ye pretty much starts off making mistakes. He falls for schemes in the beginning and isn't perfect and I love that. He's certainly not dumb, but Minglan is definitely smarter than him, and that's okay because he supports and protects her in other ways. Eventually, he gets better at utilizing his own strengths and balances Minglan so wonderfully especially in moments where she needed it the most.

Anyway, watch this show because I said so.

A Drama with Meaningful Lessons to Learn

This is the first full Korean drama I have watched in 2026. At first, I thought I was simply watching another school-themed K-drama. However, I never expected the story to be this powerful, meaningful, and thought-provoking.

I am writing this review as a former college teacher who has always believed in the power of education to change lives.
As a college teacher to engineering students for several years, I was naturally drawn to its educational theme.
What I discovered was far more than entertainment. Each episode explores issues that continue to challenge schools and society today—bullying, abuse of authority, parental pressure, social media harassment, gambling, drug abuse, academic obsession, juvenile crime, and, above all, the responsibility of adults to guide the next generation.

The main characters—Minister of Education Choi Gang Seok, the founder of the Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), together with Inspector Na Hwa-Jin, Im Han Rim, and Bong Geun Dae—represent individuals who, despite carrying deep personal grief, never lose sight of education's true purpose: helping young people become responsible, compassionate, and productive members of society.

Special recognition must also be given to Kim Moo-yul, whose portrayal of Inspector Na Hwa-Jin gave the series both strength and emotional depth. His performance was calm, restrained, and convincing, allowing viewers to feel not only the character's determination but also the quiet grief he carried throughout the story. Together with the outstanding performances of Lee Sung-min as Minister Choi Gang Seok, Lee Jung-hyun as Im Han Rim, Kim Min as Bong Geun Dae, and the entire cast and production team, they created a drama that was both compelling and deeply meaningful. Their collective dedication transformed an already excellent script into one of the most memorable Korean dramas of the year.

One of the drama's greatest strengths, in my opinion, is its memorable dialogue. Many of its quotations stayed with me long after each episode ended and inspired me to reflect more deeply on the role of teachers, parents, students, and society. The very first episode immediately captured my heart when Inspector Na Hwa-Jin said:

"In a world where adults are afraid of children, is a world that is nearing its end."

To me, these words express a timeless truth: a school cannot fulfill its mission when fear replaces mutual respect between students and the adults entrusted to guide them.

Watching this drama also reminded me of my own years in the classroom. For me, "Teach You A Lesson" is far more than a school drama. It is a thoughtful reflection on the shared responsibility of parents, teachers, students, and society in building a better future. It reminds us that education is not merely about academic success—it is about forming individuals of integrity, compassion, accountability, and respect.

As a former college teacher, I did not simply watch "Teach You A Lesson". I found myself reflecting on my own years in the classroom, remembering the responsibility entrusted to every educator: not merely to teach subjects, but to help shape character. This drama reminded me that true education begins where knowledge meets responsibility, compassion, and accountability.

My Rating: 10/10
A remarkable drama that not only entertains but also encourages every viewer to reflect on the kind of society we hope to build through education.

Perfect Casting and Chemistry but Uneven Timeline Distribution

The casting in this was perfect. Both the actors gave off the vibe they needed for these characters. Bao Shangen did so well like her crying scenes genuinely had me feeling so bad for her.

Honestly the yearning in this drama was next level like it had me hooked from the beginning. I also love the character dynamics. I like the side characters and I like how they didn't take up too much of the drama and how most of it was focused on our main characters.

They also did a lot of tropey things like him backing her into a wall and if done wrong it would be very cringey and hard to watch but since they have such a natural chemistry they pulled it off really well.

My main complaint was the timing of the drama. For a 29 episode drama why did we spend like over half the time in the past. I feel like it should've been half and half not like 20-9. At some points in the past the drama felt like it was dragging abit. I think we should've spent more time unpacking Lu Xixiao's pain and what not in the present. I also think the transition back into their relationship in the future could've been smoother. It felt a bit too all of a sudden to me and didn't make much sense. I wish I saw Lu Xixiao get more mad or something because it would've been valid.

Anyways this was a very good show that I would definitely rewatch one day.

I was hooked at first, they were cute and Wayu is adorable. I love his relationship with Tai. He is his biggest supporter.

Rose is my favorite character. She is the best friend you can even think of.

I hate how everyone suddenly change because??? Like the mom became good, his sister caame back. The homophobic and controlling dad became okay with his gay son. Can we accept that some character don't have a great family and can build a better life after.

What ruineed the drama to me is some incident that happen while they were watching their own episode (sorry not sorry I can't separated some things).

Even the audience is getting manipulated

So happy to see Hyun Wook in something again! This show was pretty intriguing, more than I thought it would. It really takes you on a ride and you really don't know what's happening. After finishing the show last night and sitting with it today, I still am left confused. The finale really floored me but also just confused on how to feel about the ending. I do like that the show made it feel like you were seeing a story with an unreliable narrator. I always think that is fun and thought they did well on leaving the audience confused. It also did a great job making you want more. It was a super easy show to want to binge. It's nice that it was only six episodes as well.

I found Lee Gang really interesting. You never really knew what he was thinking which was cool. He was so weird and just made you uncomfortable because he was just off. He was incredibly smart and talented, but just not right. He was creepy. He did seem to care a lot about Se Yun but after the finale I don't even know if that's true. Crazy he slept with Hyeon Suk too. I did think doing all he did just because of one small moment when he was little was kind of stupid though.

I hated Heo Mun O. He was a dick, insulted everyone, a horrible teacher, an awful husband who is still obsessed with his first love, and just overall an awful person. He had no redeeming qualities at all. His obsession with Eun Ju was so wild. Man liked her in college and is still obsessed 30 years or so later...insane. He was such an ass to his wife too. Not just because of the obsession either, he just treated her badly and you can tell he doesn't care about her much at all. I hated how he treated Lee Gang right from the beginning. He was always insulting him and putting him down. I just did not like him at all. I also can't believe that after everything Lee Gang did to him, that he would still hear him out for another story. That didn't make sense to me.

Overall, I just feel confused about this show. I think the things that were done well were done really well. I just think there were some things they could've done better. The finale is the biggest one. The finale could've used some major tweaking and then I think this could've been a solid 10/10, but they just missed the mark with it, I think.

The camerawork in this was fantastic! So cinematic! The lighting too was so incredible! I really praised that as I was watching this!
